Effect: Waving his hand in any direction Salem is capable of making a magic seal appear anywhere around him in a 5 meter diameter. Once this seal appears it will burst not causing damage but acting like a flash bang effecting anyone looking at the blast in 1m3 range of the circle hindering their sight for 1 post.

Effect: Snapping his fingers Salem will focus Arcane magic in his body giving himself a slight black glow do to his mana taking a black tone of color. While he is covered in this energy his physical strength will slightly be increased.

Type: Offensive
Element: N/A
Range: 5 meters
Cooldown: 1 Post
Duration: Instant
Effect: pointing the palm of his hand Salem will shoot forward a blast of black arcane energy that will move forward toward whatever Salem aim’s his hand at. Once the blast hits its target it will cause 1m3 sized explosion. Dealing D rank damage

Name: Arcane Shield
Rank: D
Mana Cost: 25
Requirements: Arcane Magic
Type: Defensive
Element: N/A
Range: 5 meters
Cooldown: 1 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: Salem will wave his hand in any direction that will cause a magic seal to appear that is 1 meter wide in all directions. This seal will proceed to become solid magic becoming a shield. Salem is then able to remotely control the movements of this levitating shield that Salem is capable of moving around him with in a five meter diameter of himself. (Moves at regular speed) the shield is broken by D rank damage

Name: Arcane Rope
Rank: D
Mana Cost: 25
Requirements: Arcane Magic
Type: Supplementary
Element: N/A
Range: 5 meters
Cooldown: 1 Posts
Duration: Sustain
Effect: By snapping his fingers Salem is capable of making a black magic seal appear . This seal will then proceed to shoot a 10 inch thick rope out that can expand up to five meters. If the rope makes contact with a person or item will proceed to wrap itself around said thing and pull it back towards the seal leaving them motionless unless capable of breaking the rope around them. Rope can be broke by D rank damage.

Hello, I'll be looking over these. Please fix the following errors:

  • First of all, you need to specify the motions for every spell, so add those in first.
  • 'Arcane' is not an element. Please replace the Element for every spell with 'None'.
  • Arcane Bang: The duration is 2 posts instead of Instant since the spell effect lasts for 2 posts.
  • Arcane Embodiment: State what stat you are buffing.
  • Blast: Where did you get that sword? If you remove that and replace it with like your hand or something, this could pass. Add that the blast travels in one direction.
  • Arcane Shield: Add a cooldown. Also state the speed at which it moves.
  • Arcane Rope: State the speed and dimensions of the rope.

Hey there, ya boy Rowan here to grade your spells.

Arcane Bang
  • This should only hinder vision for one post. It also cannot completely blind others.
  • This also needs a more specific motion than just "any type of hand motion".


Arcane Embodiment
  • You need a motion to activate this spell.


Arcane Blast
  • State that it does D rank damage, not that it destroys everything inside the explosion.


Arcane Shield
  • State that the shield is broken by a D rank spell.
  • Again, the movement you're making for activation should be more specific.


Arcane Rope
  • Specify a specific movement.
  • Are you making this appear around your own body? The language isn't clear there.
  • This would be a supplementary spell since it does no damage.
  • State that it is broken by a D rank spell.


Once you've made some edits just give the topic a bump.

  • Specify that targets must be looking at the blast for it to have effect.
  • Remove "stunning", that implies you're also hindering movement.
