It was that time again that Kaito needed to visit the quest board again and make sure that he can make his way through yet another mission and get it done before the sun sets and the real dark powers come out and start making messes in the streets as he kept his stride to a decent pace he walked up to the board and he took a job seeing that it was a simple getting rid of pests mission he was glad that he could do that and not have to start this one off digging and trying to get all the pieces that would serve to get a fancy man that was all dressed up in a tux the money that he wanted to see rolling in with little effort on his own head but with this pest request he gets to serve and see a business owner trying to get their business back so he can keep his employees jobs.

Kaito much prefers to do these requests, than he does digging for some rich prick that doesn't care about the other people that they are putting out and the amount of ire that they are showing is a huge amount and with that he heads to the clients home and it seems to be a humble little place and an older man looks at him and then waves him over to the door and Kaito walks over and the gentleman starts telling him about the shop he will be clearing out today and how the place means a lot to them so they would like it not to be destroyed if the mage can help it and Kaito promised that no more harm will come to the place than what the rats had done to the place the man seems to be okay with that as it sounds reasonable to accept that promise and try to work on the path going forward to be as smooth as they can make it be.

Kaito is handed a Key to the place and Kaito heads for the place and he wonders if he should summon back up and he snaps his fingers and through a portal the crow and rabbit masked team members appear and he heads forward and they seem happy to be able to stretch their talents again and help him get through this mission with as little damage in the shop as possible but they still needed to defend themselves so they are told not to drop their guard and keep doing what they can cause Kaito knows that sometimes the pests are harder to deal with that anything else but Kaito also wasn't going to hold back if it was needed even if he had promised to try to do no damage but Kaito knows things don't always go to plan and they adapt to it. Kaito is one of those people that if the problem appears and he has to then he will throw the rules out and take them out as fast as he can.

The other two agreed to this mind set as Kaito opened the door and they went in, they began battling the rats as Kaito followed them in and he swung his sword as he curved through them, he was not going to back down if he could help it, but some of these rats did seem different as he hit them and he felt his blade bounce back a bit from them like they were made of stone or some kind of weak metal, Kaito wonders if some of these might just be summons or constructs and someone used them to lure the actual rats into the building but how would someone be able to make advanced constructs like this that look life like, so Kaito is guessing that they must be summons but they didn't dispel when he killed them they fell to the ground, so they have to be real... right ? But Kaito can't waste his time to stop and check as there were masses of rats coming right for them and that means that there was little time to waste.

Kaito uses his ring to dash and he cuts through a decent mass of the rats as his team mates used their own skills to speed up and in and try to get their own rights to the kills that were just there fresh for the taking and Kaito looks around as he smells something wrong with the place and he wonder if it was the rats or if it was something else and he keeps making his way fighting the rats and taking them on like they were small beasts. He keeps on his toes and he spins as his teammates fly past him and he takes out the rats dropping down from above, to cover his team from attacks they might have missed as the three of them worked in perfect sync as they fought dodged while another ran in and claimed the kill that another had to dodge from. They looked like a well oiled machine.

Kaito gets them back on track and into the basement as that was probably going to be the place that they will find the way that the beasts had gotten in and he sees a huge rat there as they closed in on it, it seemed to spring to life it's eyes opening and moving fast and attacking in areas that Kaito and his team moved to attack from and Kaito realized that this thing can predict their movements so to change it up and fake it out before it fully figured out what they were doing and where they were going and he throws his cloak into the giant rat's face and the rat moved to see what they were doing but in that time Kaito and his team put their plan into action to try and take this thing down and they jump and slash at the same time and the rat goes down and they finish it off the lucky rats got out and Kaito closed their way in to keep them out.
