Daiko, you run for your life after seeing what happened to Karisa. You were unsure what you just witnessed, but you see that the darkness catches up to you. Devouring your foot, but suddenly a spore of light appears as  you then realize that Karisa did use her medkit to help 1 person, and that person appears to be you.

Action: Karisa's Love/Medkit that she used before she died to save someone has been used up by Daiko. They live this round.

Kaito seeing the woman was taken thinks to himself beating himself up a little. Damn it I failed her after all of my big talk. He felt like shit but he saw that the woman had done something before she was taken that saved the other man so he needed to make sure that the man made it out even if it ended up killing himself to do it so he hearing the man telling him to hurry Kaito pushes himself harder so that he is moving faster and he wants to make sure that the man makes it out of this horror house and back out into the world of safety and home this new door didn't lead into a whole new hell for him if that was even possible. "Don't die on me do you hear me!" He hoped that him yelling like that might lit a fire under the other mans ass to get him moving as well.

Kaito kept his eyes forward as looking back at the darkness would only prove to trip him up and maybe cause the other man to fall as well and be murdered by the darkness that had already seemed to have taken so many others he was hoping with all of his tainted and cursed heart that they can make it and hopefully make the woman where ever she was proud of them. when he gets close enough to the door to go through it He goes for a base ball slide in cause of the door's chains get cut by the darkness to cause it to fall.

Action: Kaito ran for the door and He tried to slide out the door in case of the door being cut loose to fall on them.

Kaito and Daiko, you both run, run as fast as you can, but Kaito decides to slide out the small sliding door while Daiko just runs towards it.


Daiko needs to roll twice for a Ducking Roll and Death Save.
Kaito needs to roll twice for a Stop Roll and Death Save.

The reason; outside of the door is the outside of the house. You will see that you are under the exit small door, the thick metal/stone slider down slammed downward, trapping all those that were left in there. As they look around, they will notice they are 50 meters up from the ground floor with a view of the ocean and large cliffs the house resided on unknowingly till now. With the momentum of running and sliding instead of slowing down and ducking/crouching, you must roll to stop yourself and live while Daiko needs to roll to slowdown and duck.

The door looked far smaller than he thought of at first. No, it was just very, very low… but he had to stop himself, first! He was going too fast towards what looked like a ducking opportunity- the realization made him panic even more, but Kaito’s words got to him.

And so did the memory of that weird light which saved his leg from earlier. He could’ve sworn that it was Karisa’s work, that she must’ve done something to save him then and there. Both she and Kaito refused to let him perish here in what really felt like genuine termination and not just a funny Samhain house-of-horrors social activity.

He decided to listen to them, but beyond that, he could only trust that his chicken suit didn’t screw him up at the very end. Coda wasn’t leaving his side, either – she was adamant to stick to his shoulder at all times, even when Daiko would’ve preferred her to dove under the door.

Actions: Trying to slow down and to duck under the door

Kaito attempted the slide through the door and hopes that what ever on the other side is a safe spot for him and this other man. He figures if they come out on a drop off that since he is out of the house maybe his magic will work and he will be able to catch the other man and take them top safety or Kaito could just fly with his flight spell but first thing is first surviving this ordeal with this other man and hope that it is not just the opening to a new nightmare for them as he was not sure he could handle going through another of these type of things but if he does he needs to make sure that he is really ready for it instead of what ever this half ass attempt was and he lost at least three members here. He attempted to stop himself before he went falling to his death and to maybe save the other man.

Action: Kaito went through with his slide to the out side and he tried to stop himself from going too far and to his death.

Both of you were able to slow down and do the necessary things to safely get under the door. Before the door could shut on anyone's body, she stopped it from doing so and let them out in one piece, literally. Kuri appears with Kari as she portals both of you safety to the ground level.

Daiko and Kaito have successfully escaped the house. You may post your exits and;

  • Kaito may go claim 20 PPs

  • Daiko may go claim 19 PPs.

Woah… what just happened? No, really, he could’ve sworn that- he didn’t make it! He wasn’t fast enough… but someone had interfered. Before he could check up, he found himself back on the ground again, right outside of the haunted house. He could only glare right up to where the attic would be, noticing that the ghosts from earlier had stopped chasing him…

And Kaito was alive as well! Nice!

But… was it Karisa again? Or, wait, was Kuri still nearby? Maybe she was having something to do with all of this. This was her house, so… maybe those ghosts were just illusions? Maybe Karisa was still alive, along with the goat lady from earlier. That was what Daiko genuinely wanted to believe – that it was all just for the sake of the Samhain spirit, a prank of sorts to freak the participants out.

And hopefully, that was the truth… but he still wanted to go see Karisa again. They had a lot to talk about.

Kaito feels himself being dropped off and he looks around and he sees Daiko is still alive and he looks up and he sees the house and he wonders what had just happened were they dead as well? He feels the pocket of his cloak was heavier and he guessed maybe they had been rewarded for making it out and he hopes that woman is safe and sound and not dead as his own words of trying to keep them safe ring in his ears and he rather not see her dead. But for now it seemed they had made it and he was not sure that this was really the end or not but he was going to make sure to be ready for the next time that this kind of thing happens.

He opened a portal and he pulls out some flowers from it just in case the people had really died to offer them as a gift for their spirits to find peace in the next life when they are reborn anew and he hopes to some time meet them maybe. He places the flowers on the ground where he stood then he walked away from the place with an eerie feeling of being watched.
