Kaito was unsure how going out onto the water was gonna feel like now that he is a dragon slayer he hadn't suffered from the motion sickness he had heard rumor of other dragon slayers having through when he had started using his dimensional powers he knew traveling through them had given him motion sickness but he had gotten use to it after awhile, he hopes that the ship ride will not be too bad but he take something just to protect him against it just in case. He finds the first of the people that had called him there to help them he wasn't gonna let them suffer longer then they had to suffer if he could help it. He gets other items and things they might need on the trip and Revy looks at the other members of the party that they will be taking along with them she wondered if they were really gonna be hunting a monster or if she was gonna have to make sure that she runs a tight ship on them.

They get through the city, he gets to the port of Astera coming to the ship and loaded everything they had gained into the ship, Kaito hoped the monster wasn't gonna be too bad for them but he worries that there might be a lot of trouble coming his way but he doesn't want to alert the others to just a whim or inkling of a bad feeling he knows what they are doing is gonna be dangerous rather he warns them or not but he knows he is gonna have to make sure that they all make it back alive and in one piece so he can take on another day after they finish out this job. He needs to stay focused on what the task at hand is and see if he can really fight such a monster and he looks to Revy who is standing tall and proud giving orders to the crew making sure none of them so much as put a toe out of place, he knows he is very lucky to have such a trusting and trust worthy partner.

They set sail out into the waters of adventure and the waters and the winds seemed favorable and Kaito had to admit that maybe he had been a little to cautious and worried for something that really in the long scheme of things probably just needed to be a small step toward something bigger and better for him and his exceed as well as his team and party members that are part taking on this trip to fight off a monster and get it to stop attacking the port and eating all of the fishable wild life in the area and making the people of the port suffer so badly maybe move it to a better place out in the waters so the fishermen and people of the sea not needing to worry about empty nets and even more empty bellies of them self and their families that are counting on them to bring in the fish so they can eat and live their lives.

He knows this isn't his home but he knows he has to heed the call for help to make sure these people will make it to see how their fruits will be reaped once they can actually earn for their families and he doesn't waste a moment in doing this but he isn't sure making the boat through portals or rifts would be the smartest idea if he was gonna be fighting a monster and he wants to help them do this so he can't really be wasting energy sending them all to a place that might not be the place they need to be if the creature was already moving they need to keep to the path and keep an eye out for it so they don't end up missing what could be a huge undertaking for them and himself. Revy barkers orders and the crew follow her command it would seem they have come to see her as a commanding officer.

He guessed her bossy and in control nature was a boon to them here cause Kaito was not one to really bark commands, he was more laid back and would just trust in the crew till their screw ups became a threat to the mission or the crew itself then he would step up and just fix the problems himself instead of asking for their help and he knows what she is doing is far more healthy than what he was thinking about. He knew she was the perfect partner for him because they cover the others weaknesses, but they also share a middle ground and they will talk to the other if they needed to do that so they could grow and get stronger. The crew are keeping their eyes on the waters and look for any ripples in the surface in case this thing was gonna surface from below them and try to wipe them out before they can even get a neatly planted foot.

They see what they think is the creature and they get the call sent out that they need to be ready because it was about to get wet and wild and they didn't need anyone getting thrown over board to the merciless throws of the waters as they are fighting something they might just eat them as well if they were to fall off of the ship into the water and Kaito readies himself for the danger that was about to befall them and starts opening small fissures in the dimension so when the trouble comes he can just rip them open and he can use them offensively or defensively in a bit of a swifter fashion then him having to open them all on the spot to help protect and fight back vs the creature that he has nearly no data on, he just knows he is not aiming to kill it just simply move it and if he thinks it needs move he can just send into a water dimension so it will have a hunting ground that is untouched by human hands and people so it could eat till it was happy without killing off a whole area of a country.

The creature starts on a straight path to the ship they are on and Kai sees the clouds over head are getting very dark and it is following the creature and he wonders if this creature is cursed as well like him or if it is a type of magical beast and this is about to become a far harder fight then he was expecting and them it happens a spell circle appears above the ship and Kai reacts swiftly and opens a rift under the circle and then a acid rains out from above Kaito opens more rifts to catch the mist of acid that was heading toward them for the dark skies. He knows this is bad and he yells to cover their mouths and noses and breath through something cause the mist seemed to only effect living matter cause the ship is keeping together so the acid mist was to destroy the ability to breath and kill the crew so it won't get attacked.

Kaito using his mask to keep the mist out of his lungs jumps off the ship with Revy watching him in fear as Kaito lands in the water coming face to face with the disfigured creature it was plan to the eye this thing had been attacked a lot by people and it is just defending itself he decides to just send it to the other dimension where it can be free of human contact and let it to be free to eat and not get hunted forever for those it had already killed. Kai focused and he tears open a huge rift that he sends the huge creature through Kaito is struggling to keep it open and he was beginning to run out of air while he holds it them as it is through the portal it closes and Kaito passed out and the crew pulled him up onto the ship to return for home. He takes it easy for the trip home and once they land and they are paid Revy begins to lay into him and tells him that he owes her a big dinner for his foolish reckless ways and he agrees and he leaves with her.
