Kai comes to the spot he was to meet Luca the son of the client and help him feel like a magical super hero and walk around town with him to keep up the act that the kid can do magic and help people and so Kai is going to do this job to the best of his powers though he doubts how it will work but he is gonna do it so this kid keeps his hopes up to become an actual decent person though he feels this might be spoiling the boy a little and he isn't really a fan of that, but if it gets him paid for now why not keep the child happy and healthy he hopes this boy doesn't have a break down and he wonders where the boy will want to start out at. Kai knows this boy is gonna stick out like a sore hammer hit thumb.

He teaches the kid some hand movements so he would have a clear sign of when and how to act for this kid. He sighs figuring that this is probably gonna be trouble some. but he isn't gonna let this kid down no matter how stupid he feels this is still a paying mission and he doesn't want this kid to end up getting himself killed either but messing with the wrong people or people making fun of him. He follows this boy and he gets himself ready for what may come his way. The child sees a cat in the tree and he wants to help him and Kai casts a spell as the child moves his arm and helps the cat get down safely with his frost magic as a walk way and the child cheers and poses Kai smiles and cheers with him, cause he has to play along and not make this child think he is not doing it.

They walk around and the child starts doing more random acts of magic with Kai doing them, to help random people they cam across and Kai wonders if this child's head is in the right place or not. If he was just doing this for the glory how long will it last before he realizes that he can't use magic, will it crush this child's hopes and dreams or will he rise above it all and grow to be an actual good man in the end these are thoughts Kai believes are better left unanswered for now as it is a lot to watch over this child who tries casting at every turn like he is a god of some sort. Revy is soaring over head watching and trying to figure where any more people in need are at and she wonders if Kai is really gonna be able to keep it up from how taxing this child is being on him and his mana pool.

The child comes across a broken carriage Kai uses his magic with the kid leading him to move the goods from the carriage to when the man wants them to go and he tries not to draw attention to the face he is the one doing it, the child is keeping his focus on the stuff "he is moving" and Kai is glad because what he is doing is pretty obvious him. Once they get everything placed and safely down Kai returns to just acting like he is watching over the boy like he has been. The boy does his pose in his costume and then starts running off to look for more trouble it is starting to get later in the day and the exceed has landed and is sleeping in his hood being tired from flying around and keeping watch. The boy perks up and he starts running toward something and Kai chases after him and tries to see what the boy sees.

They arrive at a dark alley where a poorer looking man is holding a richer looking person at knife point, he sees the child raising his hand to fire a spell at the man with the knife and Kai quickly makes a slash in the air and it fires out at the man and hits him knocking the knife loose and the boy starts running to grab the knife and Kai tells him not to touch it and the poor man runs away from the alley way and the boy yells after him to never come back or he will get more trouble. Kai figuring that is enough for today getting the boy to start walking toward home for the day so they don't get into anymore trouble out here in the streets for the day, as they reach the house his mother comes out and greets them and has Kai's pay in had that she gives him as she hurries the boy inside. Kai checks on Revy then he heads for home his reward in hand.
