Kaito

Kai once again is requested to come to this shop he wondered what the need could be this time if he needed to hammer more or if he was gonna get lectured about his poor hammering skills from last night, he shakes it off and walks in to the same rhythmic metal beating in side the shop the man greets him with a smile then gets down to the meat and bones of what he needed to do and if he thinks he will be able to do it but it sounds like it , is basic grunt work so Kai just nods but he doesn't have any idea how much work it is gonna be to do what he is being asked to do here. He walks over and they show hi how to do it and to make sure to know when he needed to pull it to reheat it and how to do it quicker and not waste seconds.

Kaito

Kai puts on the gear and he gets to it making sure the fire stays going to keep it hot and ready for when he has to throw the metal back in and then have the assistant shape it flat, Kai keeps his eyes on the metal as it it hammered away at and he swaps and moves it back into the fire and he gets it heated back up and red hot then right back onto the table for more hammering and more sweat blood and tears of the assistant, Kai wonders if the mans arm has fully recovered or not but he doesn't speak he keeps his eyes and focused on this metal and the need to get it perfect and in a timely manner so not to disappoint the quest giver or his assistant. He tongs slip a little and Kai has to shift his body and re-catch the metal as he slammed it to the anvil to be rehammered the assistant looked a bit worried for a second to if Kai had handled that well.

They keep going and the assistant sees Kai is really starting to get the hand of getting the metal down and knowing when he needed to reheat and get it back to him with as little wasted movement as he possibly could, they are in the home stretch of the day and they are doing very well on it's progress the metals getting very flat and is getting the shape they are needing as well as the boss is watching to make sure that it is going to task as he was unsure of if Kai could handle being on the other side of this team but he was happy to see they were doing well and getting it done to the quality that he needed and expected from them. Kai gets the metal back into the furnace one more time then serves it back out for the last set of hammering for their day and with baited breathe they finish. The boss pays Kai for his hard days work then sends him on his way.
