He has deep brown skin, green eyes, high cheekbones, a nearly perfectly shaped nose, and a generally slim build. Standing at six feet, he is fairly tall compared to a big portion of people his age. He almost always has a braid hanging over his forehead. Ezekiel also has an Elk tattoo on his chest which symbolizes his clan or household. The Elk symbolizes strength, loyalty, and wisdom for Ezekiel's clan. It was given to him- like all other members of his family- upon reaching the age of 7. The Savannan often wears loosely fitted bottoms, a tee-shirt, and a dark-colored jacket over his figure. The jacket he wears is the only thing that remains of his father, which also carries a small golden cape. Extra: - PERSONALITY Personality: Ezekiel is a very calm person for the most part. He's genuine, fair, and very kind to all types of people. Some may say that at first glance, his demeanor says otherwise but he is tolerant and can deal with a fair amount of things. Soft-spoken and clear-headed, he has a tendency to think things through and formulate plans before taking any sort of action. Unlike a lot of his friends growing up, Ezekiel was a private individual. Although people around him have never given him a reason not to trust them, he doesn't open up to people often. In fact, Ezekiel believes that the lives of others are more important than his. It takes a lot for him to reveal who he truly is. He tries to see the good in all people and often acts as the voice of reason amongst his peers. Ezekiel almost always speaks in a formal manner, with an air of respect to all people, both young and old, and he demonstrates the utmost respect to all of his superiors, even when he disagrees with them. Despite his calm behavior, When Ezekiel is pissed off, he's an almost entirely different person. When he feels disrespected or when those he cares about are disrespected by random folk, he can't help but make it known and may sometimes react impulsively. Still, he is talented at controlling his emotions and is constantly striving to keep a level head. Loyal and compassionate, Ezekiel hates to offend people. MAGIC Magic Name: Life Magic Magic Element: Nature Magic Description: This magic stems from magic commonly used by a sacred village of monks in Savannah known as "Ainkens". Ezekiel's specific magic is considered to be a sub-division of that magic, allowing him to create and manipulate plant-life and other single-cellular organisms. This magic allows him to do things such as use mana to for supplementary spells like flight, or to heal himself and others. Through the use of this magic, Ezekiel can also conjure spells for defensive purposes. The Divine arts have been used for generations to fight off evil, but Life magic allows him to use different types of plants or "Life Energy" in a variety of ways to benefit others. HISTORY History: In order to understand Ezekiel's story, one would have to start from over 500 years ago when the first Elven Ainkens settled deep within the forests of Savannah after being banished for worshipping a fairly new god. This god was not exclusively an elven god, but it was the only god that seemed to make sense. This god wasn't like the dark Elven gods, and wasn't exactly like the light elven gods either, but it was thought to be a false one. Ainkens practiced the religion and wrote stories of the one called "Aizo" - the truest god of all. A god without form, or gender. Aizo chose a medium to speak to its people every time the previous medium died, similar to what priests are in other religions. The medium was referred to as the "Ainko". They were not the leaders of the Ainkens, but they were one of the most important figures. Ainko's were trained to know the word of Aizo, nd were built to be protectors of Ainkens. The Ainkens were a small group of people who practiced non-violence, fasting, and meditation to become closer to Aizo. At the end of one's life, the goal was to be spiritually awakened enough to become one of Aizo's guardians. The Ainko's goal was to help the Ainkens reach Aizo. Ainkens practiced love- that was until the last Ainko created chaos within the Ainken community... 550 years later, a new Ainko was born after the previous one nearly destroyed the Ainkens and had to be killed. This new Ainko's name was Ezekiel. Ezekiel was born in Savannah. His mother was a Desiertan elf, and his father was a Savannan elf. The two found each other when Ezekiel's mother traveled to Savannah to study life abroad. The two met, fell in love, and would bear a son. The Desiertan elven woman would end her travels and follow the path of Aizo, but she was not prepared for her only child's destiny. When Ezekiel was born, it was told that his eyes would not stop glowing for the first few months of his life. His magical power was weak, and he was a fairly small baby, but anybody who held him would have all their wounds healed. Unlike the other Ainkos, Ezekiel didn't have warrior-like magic. Of course, this surprised the Ainkens because for generations each one of the chosen was wired to be fighters. Ezekiel spent his days studying the word of Aizo, the languages and cultures of other nations and his own magic. Although he was obviously not a fighter, he was tasked with hunting, and meditating to strengthen his body and soul. Ezekiel was able to heal himself and others- an ability extremely rare for most magic wielders. The Elders of his village were harder on him because of this. They feared that he would not be able to truly protect them from possible enemies. Ainkens were non-violent, but the training Ainko's were put through would prepare him for the "Grand Rising" period in his life. He needed to be mentally, and physically strong. When the Ainko reached a certain age they were required to participate in a "Grand Rising" ceremony that would put them in a deep meditative state for 10 years. Ezekiel was the youngest Ainko to participate in a Grand Rising ceremony. When Ezekiel finally turned seven, the leader of the Ainkens said that it was time. He would be placed deep within the ground inside a nest and would have to eat a certain berry off of one of the vines before meditating. Ezekiel's parents knew this moment was coming, but neither of them expected it to be so soon. The Ainkens held a beautiful ceremony for the grand rising of Ezekiel and although the young Ainko was scared, he faced his destiny proudly. Little did Ezekiel know, that he would never see his parents again. Although he was supposed to be in this meditative state for 10 years, it took Ezekiel 100 years to finally rise. For 100 years he was deep within the earth and when he awakened he rose out of the ground only to find his entire village had ceased to exist. All that remained was a large blooming forest, but he could feel the spirits of his people linked. His body had grown, and plants had found a home on his skin. Really, it only felt like days had passed- weeks at most. Of course, an event like this saddened him but somehow, he knew within his heart that he could not waste time in Savannah. Aizo told him that his mission needed to start in Fiore because something dangerous and vicious was coming. Something that could end the world as we know it. So, Ezekiel had done just that, and when he did he eventually joined the Fairy Tail Guild. Reference: |
