This hadn't exactly been the kind of time off that she had ever really expected to want to have this early on into her career. Though there was the knowledge that this festival happened every year... she was more interested in wanting to do work than be a leisurely little soldier. It had been a few years since she went to the festival, so some things had seemed to be a little different than when she was last here, but things always changed so why would this be anything different this time. Simple to say, the change made things more fun. It increased her want to explore, to look around for other changes and see what was the same. Perhaps she could get lucky enough and meet a few people she could become friends with. Maybe a couple other Knights hanging about having their fun off as well? Then again, it wasn't really much to say that she was having fun much herself, but that was mainly how Aoi acted on a regular basis when she didn't have a course of action, a set plan, an order, or anything. When left to her own accord... it wasn't a very straight line of actions, so to speak.

Among the technical things, there was this strange urge of looking around the place and finding something to do. Though she'd just arrived not long ago, there wasn't much time to change to fit any uniformity of casual or festival like attire, so having changed into something that was a little of both seemed like a decent idea to her at the time. From stall to stall, the curious red headed Knight wandered about, picking up small snacks and trinkets as she came along until she felt like it was just a little more than she cared to go on with. Once she was done parading about, she took a seat alone to the side of the stalls, resting her few things down and nibbling on some snacks while she observed around. Though she could see this as a job or a tourists use of amusement, either way and both ways seemed to fit the way she was going about the things she was doing.

Zhu had been getting a bit tired. Things had not been going her way today, especially with Venus. He was acting out again, and he had been running away from the brown-haired neko way too much. She had been chasing him around and it seemed the more she tried to catch him, the more energy he got. She wasn't going to be able to last much longer, so she had lunged forward and stuck her arms out, ready to grab the creature. He stopped and turned around, now just looking at her as she was falling. She merely sighed and grabbed onto the side of a stall on her right before she completely fell, now holding the animal in her arms, panting. She sat down on a bench next to a red-haired woman and tried to catch her breath, breaking a bit of a sweat. She turned to the woman and waved with a bright warm smile on her face. She seemed nice enough, and Zhu never had a problem meeting new people, even if it were in the worst possible situations. "Hi there!" she said to the woman sitting next to her. Starting conversations was never easy, but once you got it going, things were pretty much smooth sailing.

Amber orbs peered about in a slightly gaining amusement as the red haired girl continued to watch. A small gust of wind made her hat start to shift from its fitted position, showing the one wearing it that it had been coming loose little by little as she had moved about and with each passing small breeze. Pulling down the hat on her head just enough to sit comfortably, the knight sighed lightly and stretched out slightly while she had watched on. Adding another small mouthful of snacks in and munching in a mannerly fashion, she remained rather quiet and abstinent to talk or say hi to someone. Without much real thinking or planning, she wasn't really sure just what she should do to help anyone or do anything for that manner, so really... why was she here? Honestly, she wasn't having much fun here by herself doing nothing but spending money to buy herself some time until something fun would happen.

While her head had been turned away for a moment, Aoi jumped a bit as someone had taken a seat next to her. Looking over quickly, she noticed a brunette haired girl and some small little creature took their seat beside her. The brunette seemed to be rather out of breath, which had her looking a little curious. The same curious amber eyes shifted their way up and down this girls body, wondering what made her so out of breath through the entire thing. Was she maybe running from someone? Or.. no no... she shouldn't assume something like that around here. It was a wonder why she was running to begin with, enough to have a couple beads of sweat, but she just smiled in return in a warm manner, her eyes closed for a moment from the start of it. "Hello." She replied in a simple way. "Are you ok? You seem a little exhausted. Almost like you finished military drills." Aoi asked, voicing concern before she held out her left hand, stretching it enough that her sleeve would show part of her Rune Knight tattoo on the bottom of her forearm centered, if it could be noticed. "It's nice to meet you regardless, ma'am." The red head added on, just awaiting the brunette's reply and greeting.

First day out, first day as Alice Sokolov, which was a strange thing she had to get used to but she didn't mind at all as she had made up the name Baskerville when she was eighteen and out of the orphanage. She had read a book with that name if she remembered correctly. The red head would check out the festival again, as she had mentioned before, she was waiting for something to happen, a skeleton had showed up weeks ago and she had stopped it but after that nothing more. And she didn't mean a Lich, it had been like a spell but of course there were people that would consider that fun and all but not everyone was a fan of skeletons.

She brushed her long hair over her shoulder, she wasn't a dress type so she wore a light grey pair of jeans and a stripped halter top with red, orange and green lines. Next to her was her faithful companion Jupiter, as human this time again, at first he had considered to not change into a human being with Ceres around but she better get used to it and try to find the herbs herself so she could follow the example. Alice herself was still not used to Ceres her unpredictable character which happened to be now too. While she was looking around to see where she could buy a refreshment, Jupiter pulled her along as Ceres had seen something that interested her and had stormed off, only to see a familiar face.

Alice didn't know her name, but she had seen her if she again remembered it well, on her own wedding, where she had mostly only eyes for Konstantin, her now husband. She didn't know why Ceres ran towards her or the girl that said next to her, whom Alice didn't recognize but then she spotted another companion and finally understood the young feline her interest. "Hello ladies." she said, Jupiter finally catching up on Ceres, her hazel eyes looked shortly at Zhu-Lin without knowing her name but she wouldn't shut out the other girl.

Zhu had laughed as she heard what the girl had to say, and she had imagined herself being tired from such a thing. Of course, she would never be doing military drills, but just the thought of it made her laugh a bit. "Haha, yeah I think I'm fine. I was just running after this little trouble maker," she said looking down at Venus. He let out a sound of shame and looked down, and Zhu only giggled a bit. She wasn't just going to shame him like that, so she pet his soft head and he had made a sound that indicated happiness, and that made the brown haired girl happy as well. "I'm Haruna, nice to meet you." It was always nice to meet new people, especially people who seemed to be okay with who she was. Her neko ears twitched as she heard another voice come from the other side of her, and she had turned around to see someone a bit unexpected. "Oh hello there Alice! I didn't have the chance before to say congratulations on getting married! I'm so happy for you both," the girl said with a smile. Venus seemed to be happier now too as he jumped off her lap to play with one of the woman's companions.

A faint smile remained on Aoi's face as the stranger that sat next to her had come to blame an adorable little creature that was sitting on their lap for the reason that they had been so worked up and tired. Even so, it would have taken a lot to make any fit person get to a point of sweating... excluding certain conditions and what not that would make them have any higher frequencies in little things like sweating. Pushing all that aside, she had giggled still thinking about it and nodded her head lightly. "I see. They're very cute, but I guess that means they're also just as troublesome as they are cuddly? Or.. maybe that's personal thought... No matter." She laughed a little harder, setting her hands into her lap and then shifting herself to face the freshly addressed Haruna a bit better. "I'm Aoi. It's a pleasure to meet you too, miss Haruna!~ It's kinda exciting to meet people on or off the job." The last bit was meant to be more of her thoughts, but she'd gotten caught up in the moment of enjoyment and ended up blurting it out instead.

It hadn't been until Haruna and Aoi were greeted by another woman that it occurred to Aoi that the first of two strangers had a cute little perk that she was unaware of. A pair of really really cute cat ears perched on their head almost made the red haired Knight squeak from the realization, but she contained it as best she could. Though it could be noted at first upon the two looking toward her that Aoi was clearly fascinated by the ears on Haruna's head, she snapped over to the other woman, one with a much lighter shade of red in comparison to her own once she heard she was a newlywed. "Oh my! Congratulations, ma'am!" She cheered, giving a wide smile. Looking around, she tried to find a more accommodating spot for them all to sit... but she honestly was still very unfamiliar with this place after so long. "If you two would like, is there a place we could all sit together? W-Well.. assuming you didn't have prior plans, miss." She didn't mean to assume she had nothing going on. She could have come here for their honeymoon and simply passed by a guest or something.

For their wedding they had invited Rune Knights that they had not met before because they both had been a part of the Rune Knights. A lot have showed up, some of her friends unfortunately couldn't make it but she was rather satisfied but how it all turned out. The red haired knight smiled at both girls and was relieved to see the reaction of Zhu-Lin her companion so she didn't have to pull away a too excited Ceres. Jupiter simply stood halt next to her and kept his eyed on Ceres. He didn't mingle into the conversation which was something he mostly didn't unless he found the conversation unreasonable. But they had had their short fight about that more often that Alice doubt it would happen.

But the conversation turned to something that made her beam with happiness. "Ah thank you." she had a bit of a red blush on her cheeks but it was not because embarrassed feelings yet a but shy to talk about her wedding. She turned to the other person she didn't know: "thank you too. If you don't mind I wouldn't mind to come along but unfortunately I have some other business to attend. It is nice to meet you though I am Alice and this is my companion Jupiter." she pointed out the blonde man, Zhu-lin would have seen him on the wedding too. He nodded in silence as a greeting to both girls before Alice pointed out the lilac feline and mentioned that she was her other companion Ceres.

She wanted to at least be that polite to the girl she didn't know and after that she would bid the two girls goodbye, no need for her to intervene and so on. It was nice to simply go and buy a drink to go and leave.

Zhu had just watched in disbelief as her companion had played with one of Alice’s, seeing them get along so well. She nodded to Alice as she had thanked her for the congratulations and she had introduced the two of them to Jupiter and the other companion, Ceres. She had smiled at Jupiter yet merely looked down at Ceres. There was something there that wasn’t right, but she couldn’t quite put a finger on what it was. It was just a feeling, a feeling she could lable uneasiness, and it wasn’t the greatest feeling in the world. she had pushed it away though as she was still a bit amazed that she had gotten that little bit of interaction with Alice before she had told them goodbye and walked off, her companions trailing behind her. She had seen Venus get a little disappointed as his new friend had walked off, but hey, he would see the little creature again sometime, so there was no need to be upset really. There was then a question about there being another place to sit, and she knew just the place. She had been to a restaurant just the other day with Venus and their food was fantastic, so going there actually wasn’t a bad idea. “Actually I do know a place, if you’re hungry it’s even better,” she said turning to Aoi. “All you gotta do is follow me.” With that she had gotten up and had started walking in the direction in which she came, going to the place she had been a few days ago. Wether the girl had decided to follow her or not, she was actually hungry anyways, so it didn’t really matter to her if she had more company or not.
