Following Atani turning in her information to the Rune Knights about the Hosenka based gang with the basilisk tattoo, she was met with the unfortunate message that while they were thankful for her information, it would take a bit of time for the Rune Knights to actually get to Hosenka to apprehend the gang members, but Atani didn't know if she had time to wait. Judging from the intel she had collected from before, they were going to attempt to steal the shipment soon.

She considered her options for a few moments, then ultimately decided the best course of action to guarantee the shipment's safety was to either confront the gang directly, or make efforts to delay their heist. To better evaluate this-- particularly to see the skills of the gang versus her own-- she set out to spy on them once more. She shifted into the form of a kite and flew off.

As a bird, she landed over by a crack near the warehouse, then shifted into the form of a mouse to sneak in. On top of her being completely soundless, the color of her fur helped her to blend into her surroundings. Neglecting the fact a mouse or rat was a common enough occurrence in abandoned warehouses such as these, her infiltration went completely unnoticed.

She scouted out the competition in the shadows. She figured the grunts would be easy enough to take care of, but she wasn't sure about some of the higher ranking members... Definitely not the leader. Not in her current state with her magic, at least.

Atani decided it would be best to wait until the warehouse was empty before continuing. Once it was, she stole some of their plans and documents, and sabotaged the weapons they had laying around. It was a minor feat, but it had managed to stall the gang just long enough for the Rune Knights to appear and apprehend the gang. Atani turned in the extra intel she had gathered for evidence before they were hauled away.
