Drakkon had been doing his job in Talaz Lagaar really well. The sickness he felt within this island was there, but he wasn’t hindered that much by it. He felt his body fighting it off constantly, so there was that. The nurses at the hospital knew who he was, and enjoyed when he showed up. They knew to give him jobs, for he was good at it.

The young Dragon Slayer would make his way to the hospital with Luci as they were going to take a job there. It wouldn’t take long, but he would enter the place and he would smile at the nurses. They were working like it was a regular day, but they would stop to wave at him. He would return the favor as he would walk over to the front desk. When he got there he would look over to the woman and he would wave at her.

“Do you have any jobs for me to do today?” He asked wondering what she would say to him.

The receptionist would look at him and she would smile at him. She heard his words and she would look through the computer to make sure that she didn’t give him false work. When she was done with everything she would look at him.

“We have a lot of work to do in the hospital, so yeah I can give you this for now.” She said to him as she printed out the paper.

She would get it and hand it to Drakkon. He would look at the paper and he was fine with this.

“I will take it; I will come back for more jobs, so if you can print two more out while I’m away.” He said to her.

She would nod to him as she was fine with doing that. He would take his leave as he was heading to the room where he would be working for the time being.

Drakkon would make it to his destination without much difficulty. The nurses were too busy to bother him right now and it was why he walked to his destination on his own. The young man would open the door as he knew that he had to take care of some patients today. It would seem like that was what they were short staff on. He didn’t mind doing this work as he got paid for it and he got to see the chaos that was on these people’s faces. They were all struggling to live and he knew that at any second they could leave this world.

The Dragon Slayer would close the door behind him as he knew it was time to go to work. He made his way to the first patient. This guy was in his teens and it would seem like he was comatose for the time being. He would shake his head as he didn’t like that someone so young could be going through this hardship. He only expected adults to go through any type of chaos.

Drakkon would take care of things for the young boy. He had done what he could do for him, and now the rest was up to him. He would look over to the other patients in this room and he could tell that they were all young here. It would seem like they made sure that this batch was just kids in this room. That was good because it probably affected them differently. He would move on to the next kid in the room and he would clean them down with a clean wet towel. While he was doing that he would hear noises coming from another child. He would shake his head as he would get to them as soon as he could.

He would check this kid’s vital and he would make sure everything was good on his side before moving on. When he was ready he would move over to the kid that was groaning from the pain.

Drakkon would see that this kid was overheating. He was drenched in sweat and it would seem like he was fighting against a fever. That wasn't good, but Drakkon would move over to him and he would take a nice clean and warm towel and he would place it on the kid’s forehead. He would take another one and he would start cleaning him up and at the same time trying to soothe him with the water that soaked his body. At first, it looked like it didn’t do anything, but soon after Drakkon would be able to see that the kid was calming down. This was good because he would have felt bad if something happened to the kid.

When he calmed the young lad down, he would check his vitals to make sure everything was fine on his part. He would prepare his bed and make sure that he was perfectly fine before he moved on to the next patient that was in the room.

Drakkon would look at the next kid and he would do the same thing that he had done for the last kid. He would clean him up and check his vitals. Once that was done he would make sure that the bed was cleaned and there was nothing wrong with the kid. He would look at the ones that were remaining and this placed angered him. He couldn’t say he was pleased with Talaz Lagaar. They needed to do better and find out what was going on here. These kids were dying and fighting for their lives, but the island had not found a solution.

He was happy getting paid, but not when it came to kids. He would shake his head as he would move on to the next child that was in this room. He would be used to what he was doing, so taking care of them wasn’t a difficult matter.

Drakkon would move around the room as he was taking care of the kids. He made sure that they all had proper attention from him. He didn’t want to miss anything that could jeopardize the kids’ lives. He didn’t care about adults and what they would go through, but children were different. Still, it was only because this wasn’t their fault and it was something that happened to them indirectly. Still, he made sure to get the work done and once he was done he would make his way out of the room and he would go back to the receptionist. It wouldn’t take long for him to go there and when he got there, he would tell her that he had finished the first task at hand.

She believed him and would get a nurse to check them out anyways before paying him. Drakkon would take his rewards and he would continue on with his quests for the week.
