Drakkon and Alexandre had stood in Luluhawa island. For Drakkon he was able to enjoy the island and all of its beauty. The woman there was a lot, and he enjoyed it more than anything. He couldn’t help himself and his looks made it easy.

Still, the young man was here for a job; this wasn’t a hard job as it would seem like they were going to be looking for some herbs. He wasn’t sure what kind of herbs they were going to be looking for, but he knew that they would find out soon enough. He had given Alexandre the quest document, so he would know what they were getting themselves into. He had noticed prior that Alexandre didn’t know the quest they were doing until they spoke to the client. This time he knew he would be ready and knew what to expect.

That was why they were in Aina Forest; they were making their way to their client’s home that was within the forest or somewhere around it. Luci was on Drakkon’s shoulder, smoking a cigarette while they were in a forest. Drakkon would shake his head at that as he kept searching for the house.

“Might want to put that out before we cause a forest fire.” He said to Luci.

The demon would look at him when he heard that as he shooked his head and would put it out they would soon find the house, and Drakkon would walk to it.

Alexandre
Alexandre enjoyed the island, just not as much as Drakkon did or perhaps not the same way as him as his 'joy' was more humble. He wasnt as rowdy and wild as Drakkon was. But pretty sure that when he was the other dragon slayers age, he was just as rowdy and wild and maybe even worse. Like he really knew how to party. But those years have long abandoned him. Life gave him better than temporary joy like lust and alchololism and gambling or any sinful thing. Life gave him something undeserved, something too good for him. And he squandered it. That little piece of heaven on earth, he ruined and killed. Squashing the light of his life. Where now he only had darkness. And any company he had with him just didnt cut it. Including the maid lady he saw since their inkeeper quest. Yeah, he and the maid kept in contact and the two would talk and share stories and lighten their burdens. Or rather he let the maid vent while he'd just listen and nod. He was being a supportive guy. The maids presence helped him soothe some pain he had temporarily, but he knew this was no cure for his pain.

Still he had a job to do with Drakkon and this time he noticed the other dragon slayer actually let him read their job. Alexandre nodded. He wished there was a combat based quest. Lately these were just help quests. Something out of his rapertoire, but perhaps because they are guild people, they must do these things.
This one involved herb collecting which was kinda oddly easy enough. Alexandre knew his way around herbs. Not as much as a trained person on the field, but certainly more than a layman with no basis of info. He lived on the road before and ... after prison just before joining the guild now. Road included forests where herbs and nature were abound. He made mistakes, but also successes.
Drakkon spoke to his smoking companion, whom Alexandre would merely glance at, before they would arrive
"We are here" he'd speak

Drakkon would hear Alexandre, and he would look at the door in front of them. He would walk over to it, and he would knock on the door. It wouldn’t take long, but a man with an open button-down shirt would open the door. He would look at the two of them and he could see the paper in one of their hands and he would clap. He assumed they were here for the job.

“Oh great you guys are here. This should be quick, so listen and take this. I need you guys to go collect some herbs for me. It will be easier if you guys split up and look for them. Still, this is where you can find the herbs and what they looked like.” He said to them as he would hand them the paper.

Drakkon would look at them and it would seem like they were going to have to venture into the forest to get this job done. It would also seem like he wanted them to go to three different locations.

“I see, we will come back with the herbs that you need, so no worries.” He said to their client as he would look at him.

When the exchange was done Drakkon would walk away from the house, and he would make his way deeper into the forest. He figured that Alexandre would follow suit, so he didn’t have to worry about him. He would soon come to a stop, and he would look over to Alexandre.

“I think we should split up and get this done faster. What do you think? If so you take the spot, and then I will take whatever Luci doesn’t take.”  He asked him waiting for him to make a decision before they did anything.

Alexandre
A few knocks in and a shirtless man came out. He would look at the two of them and he could see the paper in one of their hands and he would clap. He assumed they were here for the job. So he proceeded to explain things to do two about said job and handed them some paper. Alexandre would look at it and see it was fairly simple

Drakkon said that they will come back with the herbs and Alexandre nodded. And so when the verbal exchange was done, the two would leave and head into the forest

The fellow dragon slayer say they should split up and get this done faster.
"Personally, I can tell you that I have actually worked with herbs in the past. So I can recognize all of these easily and I know where they would grow. I am confident I can get them by myself. But if you want we can organize this way. I will get the herbs that are found on the specific trees and on their tops. You can go for the ones in the crevices. And together we can get the cliffside herbs that are on the slope of the mountain, unless you want your companion to cover that one so we get done even faster?" he asked

He wanted to see if that was ok with Drakkon. In any case they will take the divide and conquer method. Whether Drakkon was fine with the way they split up or if he wanted to get the tree herbs himself, it will be fine with Alexandre. As long as they made up their mind and went with it.
So once it was fully decided, Alexandre would go on to find his batch of herbs. Since he had experience with collecting and using this stuff, he knew exactly where to go

Drakkon would hear this and he was fine with this plan. He would look at Luci and then he would look at Alexandre. Luci would shake his head and he would look at them.

“Okay just this one time I will be helping you guys out. I will take the crevices and Drakkon can take the cliffside.” He adjusted the plan.

Drakkon was fine with the plan as it would meant that they would get things done quicker.

“Alright, since that is settled let’s be on our way and finish this job. There is a lot to do on this island, so let’s get to it.” He said as they would split up.

Luci would get off Drakkon’s shoulder and the two of them would make his way to the crevices by the mountains. He knew what herbs would be there. He had been paying attention, but he didn’t think he would be participating in this activity. He would move through the area of the forest until he saw a mountain that was near the forest. He would look around the area as he was trying to find what they were supposed to find.

It was then that he would see a bunch of plants hidden away from people. The sun beamed directly down in this area too, which proved how they lived and thrived. He would take some of the plants from the area as he didn’t want to take them all away before heading back to where they had split up.

Drakkon followed Luci as they were both heading in the same direction. It was soon after they got there that he shifted his destination. He would move to the path going up the mountain and he would look around to see where he could find the herb on the paper the man had given them. He knew he wouldn’t do well without it, so it was why he took it.

It wouldn’t take long for Drakkon to find what he was looking for. It was literally on the cliff and there were a few found in separate locations. He would take as much as he could before he decided to go back down the mountain and meet up with everybody. The faster they finished the better.

Drakkons companion decided to assist but they reversed their roles. Thats fine. Alexandre got to do his. So once they went off to divide and conquer. He would look at the list and go collect the herbs one by one. His were all tree based, so he would go to the selected tree and collect the herb. A lot of the time, he had to climb. He was a decent climber. His body may be getting older, but his wounded spirit was still young. He would climb up to the top and collect the herbs he needs

And then he'd safely go down. Branch to branch hop, until he's low enough to go to ground again. And with that you rinse and repeat the process. It was repetitive. Check paper for herb name. Find tree, climb the tree, get the herb, climb down. Repeat from beginning.

On the bright side he knew where to go and what to find. He learned about herbs through trial and error. And eventually through reading when he had a family life. Reading mostly gave him clarity on why some herbs were the way they are. Or what to avoid, and what was poisonous. The doses of which you can use herbs of some kind.
Because he knew a lot about herbs. He was rather quick.
When he thought he did enough, he went back to meet up with others
"So how did it go guys?" he asked the two of them. Alexandre had all he needed. He assumed they also did since they were here, but it would never hurt to check in case they needed help. But as soon as he was sure that they were all done with their task. The next course of events would be to report back

Drakkon had made it back to solid ground and when he did he would see Luci coming back with his herbs. He would walk over to the demon and he would pick him up. Now that they were together, Drakkon felt a bit whole now. They would make it to their meeting spot, and he would see that Alexandre was waiting for them. It would seem like he found the herbs faster than they did. When he asked the question, Drakkon would show him the herbs that he and Luci had found.

Once it was confirmed that they got everything they would head back to their client. The Dragon Slayer would knock on the door, and the man would appear again. Drakkon would hand him his part of the herbs to the client. Once he got everything he would confirm that everything was there and he would hand them their rewards for helping him gather the herbs he needed. Drakkon would take his reward and make his way onto the next job for them to tackle.

Once they met up, they would go back to the quest giver and each of them would hand him the herbs that they collected. Once he got everything he would confirm that everything was there and he would hand them their rewards for helping him gather the herbs he needed. Drakkon would take his reward and make his way onto the next job for them to tackle. Alexandre would just shrug and go to the inn. He was tired from the tree climbing so he figured he could get some Z's.

He figured might as well since they would do some more quests later. He didnt know whats the next thing Drakkon will find, so he figured it was best to get some rest. Maybe next time he fights something or they do some boring stuff. In any case, he didnt want to deal with anything right now. So he saved it for later. Hopefully he wouldnt be disturbed
