Go D. Drakkon

Drakkon was in his room, drinking, smoking, and doing other types of drugs. He was enjoying himself and his adrenaline was off the room. He wasn’t on his own either, no the people he had invited into his room were also enjoying themselves. They figured this was an ordinary day and they didn’t have to worry about anything. The Dragon Slayer had the day off, so he figured he would enjoy the most of it. That was what he thought. It was around morning time, which was a funny thing, but he had been partying all night long.

His companion, Luci, was also enjoying himself and he loved this lifestyle. Still, while he thought he would be able to party for the rest of the day or until he rendered himself unconscious, something would happen.

He would hear an announcement resonating throughout the guild. His head would throb when he heard this, and he would be quick to grab his head and cover his ears.

“Who the hell would be dumb enough to attack this guild?” He said out loud.

Luci would look at him as he felt he had some sort of Deja Vu.

“I don’t know, but it seems serious. Are you going to do something about it?” He asked Drakkon.

“Well we get to see chaos running through this place, so I don’t see why not. If they are threatening the land this guild protects I can only imagine what we will see as we go through with all of this.” He said to Luci.

Luci figured as much and he wasn’t upset about it. Drakkon would drink some more alcohol and he would fill up his two jugs because he knew this was going to be a long adventure. After that, he would gather his stuff, and he would walk out of the room. He moved around the living quarters of the guild and he was swaying side to side. He was under the influence after all, but when he was like this he was a talker.

His helmet in his hand, and his armor under his kimono. He wouldn’t leave without them as it would be a dumb thing to do when going into battle. His katana was on his side as he would hiccup while moving around.

“I wondered what we will bump into.” He said as he wouldn’t know, but hoped it would be soon.

Drakkon was intoxicated and he would see a bunch of people moving and leaving out their rooms. It would seem like things were indeed serious. He had a smirk on his face because this was going to be fun. His movements were sluggish, but he was moving at a normal pace. He would leave the living quarters as he was planning on going on this journey with Alexandre, but he wasn’t sure he had the time to find him. It was that and he wasn’t sure if the man was still here.

“Should we look for him? I can see if I can track him with my nose?” He asked Luci.

Luci would smoke his cigarette and he would just look at him.

“We can look for him, but I don’t think you need him for this one. Still, we can try and look for him.” He said to Drakkon.

Drakkon was drunk alright, but his search would begin.
He would be able to hear the details of what was being said, and he would blink a few times as he was confused about the matter.

Drakkon was moving around the guild now. He could see that there were people gathering around each other. He would continue moving and every few seconds they would be able to hear him hiccup. He would continue using his nose, but he couldn’t find a trace of Alexandre. That sucked because he figured they would enjoy this mess together.

“I guess the old man is not in this place. Let’s cross the bridge if he might be there.” He said to Luci.

The demon would hear him and he would smoke his cigarette as Drakkon continued walking. He would bump into a few people and they would look at him. They noticed that the man was drunk and wondered if he was going to be participating in the battle in that state. The Dragon Slayer was ready and he would fight no matter his condition.

He would find himself in front of the bridge, and he would feel a chill on his spine causing him to shiver.

Drakkon would continue pushing forward through the bridge, and he had to stop a few times. He felt like the fact that there wasn’t land underneath them was bothering him. He was drunk after all, and that was the main reason behind his feeling of ease. Still, he would push himself to move forward as he was heading to the edge of the bridge.

“Man, why did this have to happen when I had my day off? I wouldn’t have drank so much or taken any of those pills, if I knew were going to be fighting today.” He said to Luci.

The demon would shake his head when he heard this. It was funny to hear him complain, but it was probably because he was suffering from a hangover or the after-effects of the drugs.

“You will be alright, you’re a god after all.” He said to Drakkon as they were now off the bridge.

Drakkon would start walking around the place he was around. He was doing his best to look for Alexandre, but his scent wasn’t picking up. He wasn’t sure why because everything had just been announced right? He looked around and noticed that there were people leaving and mobilizing already. It would bring him to rub the back of his head. When did this happen? He felt like only a few minutes had gone by, but was it longer? He would laugh a bit when he saw that he might have been walking through the bridge much longer than he expected.

The Dragon Slayer kept looking around though as he was hoping he was wrong.

“If I don’t find Alexandre, then that means I will be going on this solo. I don’t like this, I figured I could see some of his Dragon Ice abilities.” He said to Luci.

Luci would hear him rant about not finding Alexandre and he would just smoke and say nothing to him for now.

Drakkon would keep searching for the man he had partnered up to do odd jobs. While he searched the guild would continue to be emptied out. it would seem like they were all leaving as they were able to gather into groups and be on their way. The drunken man sluggishly moved around, and couldn’t find Alexandre. This was annoying and he started to wonder if the man had found someone else to go on this quest with. He would come to that conclusion and he would just sigh as he would look at Luci the Demon.

“It seems like it’s going to be you and me only Luci. Are you ready to see me struggle against a strong enemy?” He asked Luci.

Luci would hear him and he would look at him.

“I don’t think you have anything to worry about. You will fight in this battle, get the experience that you need, and you will come out stronger than you were previously. This is the best thing that can happen to you in my opinion.” He said to Drakkon.

Drakkon would come to a stop as he was thinking about what Luci had said. That was true, and he would be able to fight opponents that were probably stronger than he was. It would be amazing and it would allow him to surpass his limit. He was excited now, and he was glad to be on his own as he felt like others would hold him back.

That was when he realized and thought about it. The person that announced this situation, did they announce where they were being attacked? He wasn’t sure, which meant he didn’t know where to go. He would look around as he was hoping someone would have been around. It was a group of people that were ready to leave.

He walked over to them as they were about to leave and he would ask them.

“Where are we supposed to go? I was in the bathroom when they announced it and didn’t hear it.” He lied, but the man would look at him.

“We’re told that they were already at every place within the North, so we’re heading to Rush Valley first. That would be the closest place to clear out and then from there we push onward.” He said to Drakkon.

Drakkon would nod his head as he understood where he had to go. The man did speak too loud, and he didn’t like it. Still, he had gotten the information he needed from him and he knew where to go next.
