His skin is sun-kissed, almost tan in nature. His hair is royal blue and flows lightly about his head, neatly kept, with a few stray batches thrown about here and there. His eyes are a black, and the pupils can sometimes be rather difficult to see unless one can get very close (this is, understandably, a rare occurrence). These eyes constantly hold a look of apathy, though they will be moving almost constantly, straying to examine the room, at all times, with that dull stare. He often adopts a very laidback pose, shoulders slouched and his face is usually set in a bored expression(mostly due to the sleepiness cast upon his body). Joyo himself is not physically intimidating. His thin frame, and stature does not lend the image of a terrifying individual. Nonetheless, he can exude an unsettling aura through his mere mannerisms. He is not the terrifying monster in the room (at least until he chooses to be). Joyo is scary in the same way the creepy kid in the corner is scary. History History: Born in the sands of Desierto, Joyo’s story is one of true hardship. He was an only child born in a family that wasn’t quite wealthy, something that isn’t rare in the desert lands. Since a young age, the boy sat out to find out about the mysteries of the world and at the age of twelve he would uncover one that would shake his land to its core. Deep under the sands, Joyo came across a temple to the God of Dreams. A temple made completely of black marble with sparkles that made it look as if you were traveling through the stars of the universe. There would he perform a ritual and inevitably become the vessel for the Sandman. After acquiring the God’s Soul, Joyo would travel through his village and around his country helping those who wanted their dreams to be real. Over a two-year period would he become a figure known as “Joy Boy”. A child who helped the poor and hungry and battled against the forces that dared break apart his land. The people in his village looked at him as if he was a god due to the magical abilities deep inside. After turning fourteen would he step out of his village and begin his “Journey to the West” where he would travel through many different countries before finally stopping in Fiore where he felt the magic was truly disdain. Now traveling around the lands of Fiore, Joyo hopes to help those who need help and stop those who seek to crush others dreams. While also trying to tame the God’s Soul that is deep within his body. Having spent only a month so far in Fiore, Joyo hasn’t even yet scarred his surface, but he hopes to do so soon. Reference: |
