Kaito

Kaito is once again beckoned to help some rich person that thinks they are more important then his own time off again. Kaito heads into the dangers of the higher richer neighborhood and he looks around and he wonders where the home is and he sees a huge very impressive home that seemed to be the one that he was going to have to go to and the rich man is in the back by his huge swimming pool that was probably built on poorer workers backs and hard work and maybe not all on the level work at that but the guy still beckons to Kaito to come closer and the man starts telling Kaito what he needed for him he wants Kaito to go into the mines and work his claims and to not take any shit from any of the other miners as they are simple and backwards and jealous of those that are gifted and are far above them.

Kaito

Kaito starts on his way to the mine as he has no real choice in the matter cause this request has turned into him pretty much having to be slave labor and to rough up miners that get to close or try anything funny and Kaito sighs as that is not really what he wants to have to do but he knows that there is still a huge need to have to keep his mind and his guard up and he makes it to the mines and he pulls out the jewel and he watches it turn into minerawr and he starts looking around and smelling as he was looking to help Kaito find the good and more pricy things as he was linked to Kaito and Kaito even opens a portal and brings in Mims the mimic to help him keep the miners scared away and because he knows Mims has learned to guard things Kaito puts into the mimic as it follows him as he starts digging into a wall that minerawr pointed to and trusting things to Mims that he digs up as Mims is making sure to keep pace with him as he moved around the tunnel.

Kaito

The crystal beast sniffs around and then starts walking and Kaito gets his pickaxe ready for when the beast alerts again so he can start cracking into the wall and hopefully get a lot of other things that will be closer to the price ranges that this crazy rich man wants him to be finding like it is no big task when the man had nearly asked him to give them the moon and it was pissing off Kaito and then Minerawr alerts and Kaito starts getting himself back to digging as he knows that there is going to be a lot of lower quality finds in these walls and he wonders if there is going to really be something worth finding but Minerawr seemed to think that there is something here and he wants to prove that the little guys nose is still in tune to the mines and he trusts and he keeps digging deeper and doing his best to make sure that he keeps a sharp eye as he was not going to let him down.

The beast alerts once again and Kaito is right there digging in that spot to make sure that he can get everything and make this worth the time they were spending on it as this seemed to just be another decent vein and Minerawr was starting to feel the stress of all of this as these walls where not giving a lot Mims is just softly humming behind him and Kaito laughs. "I think he is telling you to calm down my little gem friend." Kaito pets the gem beasts head and smiles as he gets back to the digging into the wall that was yielding very little. It seem that this rich man must have bought some crap plots and he was praying he wasn't scammed by the sellers so he wanted to push hard for Kaito so if it was crap that Kaito would look back more than he would for buying such crap plots.

The crystal beast stays out of the way and stays on guard for Kaito and Revy and Kaito watches the beast as it seems to have been trying to stay to protect them and he figures with a crystal beast and a mimic this was a pretty motley crew that they must look like three monster like creatures talking to a man mining they might even think he is crazy and out of his mind as he keeps working on himself and the work that needed to get done ahead of it all as these were literal leaking streams and not actual flowing veins which is making this all completely nearly a waste unless they start hitting some pay dirt soon and start getting some meat and potatoes this is gonna end in a disappointing failure for the team and Kaito was not going to let it go down like that so he had to keep his hopes up and he had to keep his chin raised so not to show Minerwar that they might end up failing here and Mims keeps humming and sliding around by them as they keep digging and throwing the good things to Mims to keep guard over as Mims was not going to let anyone or anything come between them and keeping the stuff Kaito trusts them with.

Kaito thinks he has gotten everything out of this one and he begins leading the team along behind him and Revy talks to the mimic and the gem beast and tells them not to worry Kaito's dumb luck seems to always shine in the grimiest of times and this is one of those cases and he will not let them fail even if it means he stays here over night getting dust and scrapes to get them to the amount that the rich guy that was barking at them wanted. As the neared the next plot Minerawr smelled something and it was bit and he walks around the last plot that they had to dig for the day and Kaito wondered if there was a big chunk in there and maybe that one of this mans sellers actually had a fortune on his hands and this one was not also just a dud that was not going to pay out but Kaito believed that Minerawrs strong reaction meant that they were about to have to go doubling down on this area till the pay dirt pops up to them and allows them to gain it.

Kaito starts digging with his pickaxe and Revy joins in as well to try and help her best and Minerawr watches them and tries to relax but he was still feeling like he had done bad Mims starts humming again. Kaito starts finding the good stuff in the walls and rushing it into Mims to keep it safe as there was so much here so one of the spots did end up paying out Kaito was glad as this could have gone so wrong and them having to hang their heads in shame would have been a major hit to the credit of his guild and himself once Kaito thinks that they have got enough Minerawr runs over and jumps turning back into the gem and Kaito puts him back in his pocket and leads Mims and Revy on the way to the mans home who was probably not going to act surprised at this turn of events but Kaito delivers the stuff to the man who gladly pays him and actually does try to hide his surprise from Kaito as he is paid and sent on his way.
