Kaito

Kaito enders into the city and he looks around and he finds postings for a local man that was in need of someone to come and collect some things in the mines and be his guide as he goes with them as well as he was not use to adventuring in the mines and he wants to see how it is done and the dangers that the people that do these jobs for him face every time they go into the mines for him. Kaito sighs as it means this is part mining and part babysitting some rich guy but he takes the request and he goes to meet the client so they can get this request under way. He was not sure how this request was going to go as babysitting is fully dependent on the client and if they listen to reason and have half a block of sense in their heads for if they see danger that the sack of jewels in their pocket is not going to save them for what is about to happen to them if they don't move from danger.

He gets to the mans house and he can see the man fully in explores gear and Kaito thinks maybe this one has a bit on sense in his head as he seemed to look like he had gotten equipment in case of anything going wrong and he needed to be able to act and accompany Kaito with getting out of anything that might go wrong on the job and so Kaito steps up and he speaks to the man who greets him happily and was ready to go and try his hand at this thing as well as see what he had been having people have to do for him for all these years as he didn't go to the mines but he knows he had a mage have a very bad time just recently and he wanted to see if that was a normal thing that happened and just others hadn't told him about the problems that they had to face just so they could be paid and get through the rest of their day with a drink.

Kaito didn't see the harm in this as not all of the missions into the mines end with trouble but most seem to have some trouble patches with the people or creatures of the mines as this was a high stress job and they were not really looking to let outsiders just come in rob the mines of their resources and just dip out but today was a bought plot so it wasn't one that Kaito would have to seek out so that removed a lot of the headache that the job required of him but he was going to make sure the man know of the troubles of plot seeking as well as the chance that monsters or other thing could attack like other miners and some times things you can't even see at first like ghosts and other undead that were sealed away or raised from being disturbed from their slumber by all the digging and noise of hard working people.

The man happily followed Kaito as Revy went over health and safety things as well as warnings of starting fights with the locals about anything that might lead to them getting themselves killed or others killed and the man was listening to the exceed nearly hanging on every word it showed to Kaito this man was indeed serious about this request and finding out if he should be better looking for the signs and taking better care of the mages that show up for jobs and better words of advice and offering to the mages after a job well done. Kaito thinks that is a bit too much but hey it is the guys life and money so he is not going to rain on the guys parade if he wants to spoil a few mages and make sure that they are okay. The miners look at the rich guy oddly and Kaito picks up on it and he wonders why they would be doing that, so Kaito is going to stay on guard as this man may not be as he appears.

He leads the man to the plot and it looks like it is a pretty rich plot of mine to dig into so he is sure that the man must have paid a pretty penny to get one this rich and full of minerals or someone scammed someone else and sold it off to the man and this is might get nasty. If he is lucky this should just be an in and out thing and then Kaito hears hissing and he stops the man from striking the wall and he listens to the hissing and he moved a stone and their was a nest of snakes and he gets them out of the wall setting them free out side of the mine and he wonders if that was a natural thing or if that was something set as a trap for the man and he gets back to the man who Revy stayed to watch over and keep him on his toes as he digs into the wall and Kaito can tell the man was already feeling the burn of digging cause it used muscles this man was not use to using.

Kaito helps the man with better hand placement on the pickaxe and where to hit to get less loss on the value of the things that he is trying to mine out of the wall and that was something that was not so obvious to people as it was a lot of hard and delicate work if you are trying to get valuable things and not just harder minerals or things that just end up doing melted in the end. This man was mining gems so that needs a careful hand as flaws in the gems could end up costing him a lot of jewels on the sales as they could be nearly worthless and Kaito of course helps the man dig as he points out more dangers to the man that was glad to be getting this experience and they finish up getting the amount the man wanted and he now has a better understanding of the hard work and troubles that the miners and mages go through the work for him. The man thanks Kaito who nods and helps him get the hull back to his home before Kaito is paid and goes on his way.
