Quilla was not sure what was going to do. Today she was going to do some stupid quest to help someone with something. Not knowing what the details were, she went towards the spot she promised to go wait for her client. Her eyes coldly gazed at everyone at this merry City of Magnolia. This place was too happy for her liking, for her new self. Her eyes spotted the market area as the shop owner was outside waiting for her. She didn't know these people so honestly, she did not care what the aftermath was. She only wanted to get paid, get stronger and that was about it.

She flipped her pink hair, stretched and yawned as she got closer to the store. The keeper waved to her as she continued to give her cold stone face. Today she just wore her regular dress of the reaper to live on with today, something simple.

Today her job was to protect some shop from a few nobodies that wanted to steal and ransack the places. Her tired eyes that were filled with death gazed at the people who looked away all scared. She wore a black jacket over a dark maroon shirt. Her pants had some torn rough edges and were black jeans. Her pink hair slowly was becoming blacker with some white as the pink was fading away. Was it supposed to mean something? She ignored the warning and continued to walk with her hands in her pockets that were rested against her thighs. Her topaz eyes looked at the shop that was suspicious.

Not because it was broken or rusty looking, but because it seemed too perfect. The windows looked new, put together and everything was in top shape. Once she approached the door, she entered it with one hand that pressed against the door.

As she entered the place, her heart felt even emptier as she looked back expecting something or someone to be there. Bai was no longer with her as she felt that maybe he will find his freedom and happiness elsewhere. Where she was going, she didn't deserve his companionship and trust, nor does she want it anymore. That is what Quilla kept telling herself now. A tear went down her eye as she kept her doll face still as stone. Before anyone could see the tear disappeared. The door closed behind her, no one there, a reminder of her now being alone. She turned to see someone gazing at her as they were behind the counter. She assumed it was the owner who needed her to watch the place.

He trusted her due to her bounty, infamy and showed her the secret stash that she mostly needed to protect carefully.

She agreed to watch over his store and once he left she decided to look around. Her head tilted, strands of pink hair waterfalling to the side. Her eyes wandered at each shelf as she wondered what crap he sold. Her eyes noticed a note saying to not touch due to how easily things can break. She scoffed and gave goofy side smirk as she picked up the blue crystal. Her fingers messed with it as she felt every edge and put it close to her eyes to see through it. "Mmmm," she hummed as she couldn't figure out why it was so interesting and expensive. After seeing the price, she put it back and went to find anything else interesting.

Her scythe sometimes poked a few things off place, but didn't knock them off. The top of her scythe poked the higher spots a few times, but she managed to not break anything.

She looked and peeked towards the front door and the windows to make sure no one was interested in coming into the building. No one was near or even looking at the store, so she went to the back door and opened it to reveal just a normal office. Slowly, she shut the door and went behind the register counter, putting her hands all over the place. "Disgusting..." she whispered in spite as she felt something that was rather unpleasant. Finally, she pressed a button that felt rather like a normal piece of the counter that was loose. Her eyes flicked towards the side where it is part of the floor, opening to the basement.

She hated basements as they made her shiver, reminding her of dungeons at one of the Noble Palaces in Joya. She instantly closed it, no longer interested in seeing what was in there. Was there another door he was talking about?

She twirled around and danced in the several meter store with her scythe, alone, but laughed as her insanity heard music that no other did. Perhaps it was Nu singing a merry song of death or maybe it was a song being mysteriously played across the street. Her laughter stopped instantly and gave a cold stare at the person who came through the door. Not just one, but a few. A few hooligans went that were obviously up to no good. They didn't notice her, which was fine. She was silent stepping anyways. They were chatting, whispering about how they were going to get into the back to steal some of the hidden drugs and forbidden alcohol.

She was more interested in taking it for herself than anything. Maybe she will steal some of it and take it to her guild. How dare the shop keeper does not share as it was sharing is caring.

Without them realizing it till it happened, Quilla pulled out her scythe and put the blade against their necks as they stood next to the other. They gulped and looked towards her. The three of them wondered when she got in here, but Quilla didn't bother answering. She asked them coldly yet softly where the back door was and how they knew. They explained that their boss was the one that instructed them to grab it. Who knew why their boss wanted it and who their boss was. She tilted the blade to get closer to the skin, "Who is this boss?", she innocently looked at them with her doll eyes.

They gave her all the information she needed and took away the blade. One tried to scoot towards the door, but Quilla told them that it was pointless to run. Plus, she wanted in on taking some of the things they wanted.

Her and the three goons went towards the wall where they then did what their boss instructed them to do. Her eyes watched and saw that the wall removed itself as if it was an illusion. She let herself in first, granted that she let them do this in the first place. The other three came in and looked around as the room was small, but it was obviously the room the VIP's of this shop got to go into to do a little fun. Her eyes looked at a black box and picked it up, opening it. She looked at the contents as it looked like some sort of rolled up thing with leaves in it. She has never experienced it before and the three could tell.

They explained to her that she can keep that and they'd explain to her on how to use what was in the box, if she will let them take a few things that the shop keeper would not even notice. She agreed and they explained. Once they were done, they left and Quilla left the room, hiding the box of contents. Once the shop owner came back, Quilla left after being rewarded.
