CompanionHer first steps within the island had been ones that were largely worthwhile, as far as she were concerned. The work that she was finding, perhaps unsavory to some degree, were largely paying off, making her doubt that the investment in time and effort would not be for meaningful contribution. But more, it was that she were free of the Rune Knights, the hounds that had been in constant pursuit of her throughout Hargeon. Here, there was a sense of freedom, combined with her being an unknown figure, giving her no shortage of freedom to go about as she wished, how she wished, where she wished. The only real challenge and task that were presented to her were more the nature of what to do and how to get by, but the work was in lacking within the island. Even now, as she found herself heading towards a small farm on the outskirts of the more populated part of the island, it were another quick job that she expected to handle. Shake down someone, though not quite what Vyra had figured herself doing, she recognized that it was money that she could not walk away from, so upon her arrival, a small conversation witht eh man that she was to extort, and some veiled threats not only towards him but also to that of the religious statue that he had set up, it was very quickly established that some level of understanding could be reached, one that would be ideal for not only Vyra, but also for the ones that hired her.
