His Neck-length Ash Blonde hair is occasionally messily tied back into a ponytail without much worry. His teal eyes betray his awe easily, without much care to hide it. He does not entertain facial hair, and Feminine features lend softness to his expressions, making him very much approachable. His everyday attire is rather bland to most onlookers, tending to stick with clothing he is used to from his village life. This includes staple articles of clothing such as a plain linen shirt, worn leather breeches and weathered knee-high leather travelling boots. Personality Traits: Cheerful Edgar is always outwardly cheerful, spreading positive energy where he can. It is difficult for him not to be grateful for his family and life. Seeing that being cheerful and happy seems contagious in various situations, it’s now his default. Enthusiastic When someone asks if he can do something, he will be out the door before they even finish. He tends to exhibit enthusiasm for anything and everything, whether talking to someone or learning something new. Some would say perhaps too enthusiastic. Kind From a young age, he was taught to be kind to others and treat them respectfully. He will immediately show compassion to those who suffer loss, empathise with those that struggle, or give assistance to anyone who needs it without care for himself. Sarcastic Whether it is a method of coping in challenging situations or his attempt to lighten a situation with friends, Edgar is known to turn to make sarcastic comments in jest. Sometimes his words are taken in a way he does not expect, and he promptly apologises for any offence he causes. Stubborn Edgar’s strong will can get him into trouble and can be seen as him being stubborn. Once he has made up his mind about a topic, it can be hard to get him to see it in a different light. The strength of this style is its flexibility and ability to mend wounds of allies and friends while in the same instant producing searing sunlight with the other. To invoke Sol-Mani, intent and motion are used, with deliberate hand gestures and body motions reenacting the cycle of the moon and the sun in the heavens. History History: Edgar was born in Fiore, his father an exile from Iceberg and his mother a village herbalist. In his early years, his father ensured he was well educated and encouraged him to be empathetic and kind to others. He also showed and taught Edgar the martial techniques from his old tribe, which, while they could be used for combat, were more suited for meditation. During Edgar’s time with his father, he also learnt the reason for his exile: him renouncing what he referred to as ‘the old ways. His father, who was now a priest of Illumin, spent his time melding his newfound ‘way’, devotion to Illumin, into his meditative techniques. This resulted in a blend of new and old a technique that could invoke magics that selectively and simultaneously heal, mend or support friends and hinder or hurt foes. At the beginning of his teens, Edgar spent time in forestry around the town with his mother. She pointed out flora during their walks before returning home and used some of the flora they collected to create tonics and salves to give to those in need. When Edgar was fifteen, his village was raided by masked bandits. While no one was killed, many were injured, and food and anything of value were taken. This was Edgar’s first experience tending wounds made intentionally by others. While there were a few close calls, everyone from the village recovered with help from Edgar and his family. During his seventeenth year, his mother’s apprentice brought him a wounded animal. He knew the girl since she came to the village not too long ago and mended the creature using the magic his father had taught him. He and the girl became good friends through the ordeal. When his mother’s apprentice, now a good friend, let him know of their intentions to leave the village and seek out joining Fairy Tail. He insisted on coming along, seeing it as a way to help people in need. With blessings from both his mother and father, he left and joined up with Fairy Tail intending to continue to do good.
