Emil has once again been called upon to come and to deal with more of what the request says is rats and he shows up to the clients house and it looks like it is abandoned and that like no one has lived here in a long time he wonders if this has been a mission that was just sitting around for a long time then he walks up to the place and he realizes this is the place that needs to be cleared out not a store this time around. He hears someone walking up to him and it is the client it is an older woman and she looks a little worse for wear and she looked at Emil and she was having her doubts that this guy will not just tear down the place and she sees an exceed and a woman walking up as well the woman is a giant of a white wolf demi-human it would seem that today Indi had invited Emil's wife with them to help.

Emil looks at Holly and he was surprised that she had joined them but he in the back of his mind knew she would come as she was always a hard worker and he wants to make this work with her so he is gonna make the most of this quest to make her see that he is worth her to return to cause her heart was his and his heart was hers. Emil laughs at his own inner monolog on that cause it was terribly sappy and not really befitting of a muscled fighting machine like himself, the client gets to talking about how it is her wish to clean out the home of her great grandfather but it is horribly infested by rats and other creatures that her and her old body wouldn't be able to handle them by herself so she called upon someone from the guild that had the better reputation and she voices that she is un sure about Emil doing this as she is worried that he will just tear the place apart.

Holly smiles and gives her word that she will make sure that her husband will take good care of the place, Emil nearly went to tears cause this is the first like supportive thing he had heard from her since that day when the god soul fused to his own soul. The god soul inside of Emil makes puking sounds as they don't have time for this they have any things to do and just standing around right now is getting them no where. Emil takes the request and the woman still looks uneasy about this man being the one doing this but she understands what he is thinking that this might be his chance to make it up to this woman so she allows it and hands them the key to the place and she walks off hoping there will be a house to return to when she come back later to collect the key in a few hours.

Key in hand they walk up to the door and they open it and the smell and sounds inside tell them they need to be careful and Emil sends a charge into the air and the place lights up it will only last for a small bit of time so he jumps into action and Holly supports him as he fights the rats and he can hear bigger creatures stirring up stairs so this is going to be a literally up hill battle because instead of down he needs to go up as he fights which means that they will always have the higher ground on him so that means he is going to have to be extra careful not to get caught up in any like pack tactics traps that would or maybe be waiting for him at the top of these stairs as he and his wife fight through the hoard of rats and the exceed follows behind them as he is still not in fighting shape after the beat down he took at the mine and he was just pretty much just an extra pair of eyes to see and catch things for them if they needed it.

Holly made sure as Emil ran in that she was keeping the pests off of his back and that is looking to be a harder thing than it had looked to be at the first glance as this place was crawling with other monsters as well as the rats "what were they doing in this place that it is like this?" she wondered to her self as they kept pushing on and trying not to get blind sided as Indi warns them of things in the dark. He might not be able to fight at the moment but he is use to seeing traps in the dark of ruins and he was not going to fail them here he knows they are still working through their troubles with the other but he sees they are a decent team and he kind of sees how they got married as they seemed to complete each other.

Indi shakes his head and gets himself back in the game as they need everyone on their toes and not lost in their thoughts some where off in the milky way alone. Holly spins her sword in her hand and she goes at the rats no longer focusing on healing but on helping to cut through the horde of things that where coming piling out toward them at this very moment and Emil lets loose a punch of lighting and it bounces between all of the things around them the rats are going down easily enough it is the other things going bump in the night that are more what is taking them more time to get through and they can feel something isn't right here as these things seem to be coming out endlessly almost like they are rebirthing and coming down from above and then it hits Emil this might be a trap.

Emil says to the others his thoughts on this as this might be a big deal and something they need to deal with as fast as they can he feels like he has figured it all out and he is so proud of himself as he stated the things to them cause he was feeling very high on his horse and that was all that was gonna end up mattering to him in the end of this all cause he needs to keep his rep in tact so that he can show that he is the greatest living mage and that they should make statues of him in the north so that they can remember him long after his half elf life comes to an end and that will not be for a good while as he still had many things that he has to do people to see and people to make beg to be forgiven for them ever doubting him when really he is what makes this all better he was the one to do all the heavy lifting.

Emil's ego was starting to over inflate again and him fighting and cutting a hole through the creatures was making him surge with lightning energy that was nearly blinding as he reached the top floor he found some strange machine that was just pumping the creature out and having weird runic symbols on it and running on like four balls of differing magic energies and instead of studying them Emil just runs in lightning flying around him and he breaks the machine which should slow down the attacks and he was going to have to ask the old woman why there was such a thing in the attic of this place and if it had been her that had set it off as it had seemed to have had a heavy book on a lever that might have been what had turned it on. He makes his way out and he walks the other two out of the place and he sees the woman waiting for them and he hands back the key and he explains that it had been dealt with and that the problem was some strange old machine that was in the attic that was just bringing them out and the woman didn't look surprised and she doesn't explain she just pays them and then gets on the move away and Holly stops Emil from chasing after her.
