ManaPlants. PLANTS! What ARE plants? Nah, what is the DEAAAAL with plants? They’re just there on the ground and don’t move! Pretty sad if you asked him. And why are they called plants anyway? He ain’t seein any fire exits and he deifnitely ain't seeing any sort of indications on where to go! Just greenery! Sooo boring. So if they’re kinda useless and don’t even tell ‘em how to escape a fire, why would anyone want to go find them? Well, there was this guy wearing nothing but a tiny jacket and shorts that wanted Bucket to go pick flowers like a little GIRL! A dainty little girl who picks flowers that heal your wounds and make you not die, like a GIRL. That’s right!
What was he thinking about again? Ah yes, he had met Dr. Peleke, he got the info on the plants he’d need to prance around the forest to find, took a few moments to tell Dr Peleke about how he, a 40 year old giant of a man, couldn't actually read or write, had Dr Peleke do him a solid and instead of writing down the names of the plants he drew him a good deal of simple, concise drawings with their features and, currently, was shuffling through the forest in absolute boredom, his mind dreaming up of all sorts of dumb and dumber scenarios and ideas about plants and what he was doing. Perhaps he needed a hobby or something that would finally keep his mind in order and not constantly, as it does currently, wandering and making his body move on pure autopilot. Perhaps he could take up something simple that required his attention, like solitaire. Maybe he could try his hand at learning how to read and write. Thing is, he can’t count for shit so he can’t play solitaire and he’s too suspicious looking to actually get help with learning to read and write. Besides, lately, he’s been having some.. dreams. They’re not like the nightly terrors related to his past, instead, those terrors are faced by a warrior wreathed in golden flames. And once the fight starts, he always wakes up in a cold sweat. At first, he thought it a simple meaningless deviation of his normal dreams but, this time, it was.. repeating. It had been a few nights already that he’s had that dream. What could it mean!? What did it– ah, look, one of the plants.
