Client:
Herman Schwarz: The leader of a small band of settlers on the island, Herman hails from Bosco and is a man of innovation, industry and imperialism, with a definite agenda for being here. Hiring a personal cadre of mercenary sailors and soldiers to do his bidding, his true intent is to reap the rewards hidden in island, and since negotiations to do so peacefully seem to have stalled has begun less scrupulous endeavours to achieve his aims.

Others:
Lumberjacks x5: Not quite tree surgeons, more like butchers in fact, they can chop down timber in a fast and efficient manner, and can readily supply homes and villages with the lumber they need to finish those improvement projects. Hardy enough for civilians, unfortunate they're not trained warriors, so won't fare all that well in a fight.

Summary: Herman Schwartz is looking to expand his settlement, but unfortunately lacks many of the essential resources to do so, and is looking to solve that problem by exploiting the local timber. Unfortunately, the natives aren't too crazy about that and seem to wish to interfere.

Enemies:
Tribal Warrior x10: The locals laid back but that not meaning their guardsmen and hunters are lacking for skill, this island has survived on its own whilst going up against invaders and monsters from the sea, and has left their defenders strong and stern. Favouring more rudimentary weapons like axes, spears and bows, they can easily give your average Rune Knight a run for their money, though can be overcome by polished skill.

Enemies:
Tribal Brave: Warriors of the tribe are a common sight but Braves less so, these are men and women who have taken their abilities to the next level and proven their courage and valour, hence the name. Receiving divine blessing and protection from the islands leaders, they are often equipped not only with more honed weaponry but also some limited spell craft, which allows them to attack, defend or even enhance their abilities if need be.

Objective: Escort the lumberjacks to the logging site, and protect them from the disruption of the locals.

Details:
  • Meet up with the Lumberjack Crew in Aina Forest and act as their escort.
  • You don't get too far before you find yourself ambushed by 6X Tribal Warriors, fight them off while protecting the lumberjacks.
  • That should show them! Finish escorting the workers where they need to go.
  • Oh no, looks like another group is waiting for you at the logging site!
  • This fight is trickier, 4X Tribal Warriors are backed up by a 2X Tribal Braves, might get tough!
  • You won! And it seems your efforts have shown those savages they can't bully their way into getting what they want!
    Return to Herman when the lumberjacks are done, and collect your reward, with extra if you protected the group well enough to fetch a good harvest.
