Kaito wondered if that nature dragon slayer was also going to be part of the fights or not as she seemed rather timid as he looked around he had lost track of her and he wondered where Revy was then Revy jumps onto his back and he looks at her as she giggled and the nature dragon slayer giggled as well and then she is called and she walks off, it seemed it was her turn to take on the challenge and show off her skills on the stage and Kaito wondered who or what she would be up against and he sees a huge man walk up onto the stage and he looks down at her and he roars with a thunderous voice as shock crackles off of his skin. Those seemed to be the tell tale signs this must be a thunder dragon slayer, Kaito wishes he knew more about the kind of people it takes to be a dragon slayer.

He never saw himself as a true dragon slayer as he had it thrown upon him, he had very little time to choose, and he wonders if the woman had picked the wrong him for this task that should have been set with someone that could at least talk to woman and people like a normal person and not a reject with a curse that makes the world expect a few to fear him and be scared of him and the things he can do. He is seen as a hero but feels like a fraud he doubts he has what it really takes to be the dimensional dragon slayer that people need and the task at hand he wasn't born chosen he wasn't born to be a hero. Kaito holds his head the darkness in his heart screaming wanting to be set free and to stop being caged like a monster.

He shakes his head focusing and he sees that the woman is holding her own vs the other slayer and she is making sure not to let him or his spells touch her, which means either they have a paralyzing effect or she is fragile then he sees a spell barely touch her and her arm went fully limp, so his spells paralyze the part they hit. He hopes she isn't gonna get squashed for that. Then one of her spells hit the big man and he tries to just brute force punch her and she smacked his hand away like he was a child swinging a toy hammer and he has a moment of damn. Her spell seemed to have debuffed him as he was now moving slower and his attacks seemed far weaker then they had once been when this started. This fight as more exciting now to Kaito.

He thought this fight was gonna be one sided when he saw that the spell had paralyzed her arm and now it seemed like that shy woman was shining in an element that was not just to be a pretty face but to make it all count when the chips were down she rose above it and she was showing what she really had, he was impressed with how she handled herself and he was not going to let her show him up if he and her where to face off as he had a lot to prove as the dimensional dragon slayer and he was not gonna back down from the gauntlet that had been thrown down at his feet by these other of the dragon slayer magics that had come together here for the fights. The woman moved to finish the fight with a giant wave of vines that tore up out of the ground and it flung the thunder dragon slayer out of the arena.

The fight was called and then Kaito gets called back up again and it seemed that the pickings were come down to slim and he was gonna have to fight his hardest going into this one as it was the earthen dragon slayer so he knows this man was gonna be a hard nut to crack and he was gonna need to tear the man down a few pegs but this was gonna be harder than it looked as this man was gonna make every defense spell stop him from doing anything more then scratch the surface of them but that leaves a lot of space to control for Kaito who will control this fight from all angles if he has to and the earthen man runs at him seeing that Kaito is not paying attention and figured it would end there if he could get a clean solid hit to the dimensional dragon slayer here.

Kaito out of instinct caught his hand and flips him and kicks in in the back showing off his elven fight training as he hand springs from the kick and ends up making space between them. He was happy to fight but he wasn't going to allow the man to score a cheap shot like that as long as he was alive and kicking and screaming to live and let live as he was told he could be better and he wasn't gonna soil his hands if he can help it and he sure as hell was not gonna get blood on his clothes if he could help it as he was not in any rush to have to try and clean that out of them again so soon. The defensive dragon slayer did his best to wall Kaito out but Kaito was already on him as he keeps trying fruitlessly.

Kaito wasn't heartless and he knows he has to keep this a show even if it means to make the fight slightly longer as the man still had his pride to think of and Kaito was making fun breaking down the mans walls and he was not going to allow the dragon slayer to lose face her so he plans out then finish and how it was going to be a run in and punch through the shield and they clash. He knew the way the other slayer moved and reacted at this point he had analyzed it and ran it through his mind and he wasn't going to allow himself to fall pray to the traps of the earthen slayer and he gets through as the shield was raising and he knew that this was not going to fully break down the way he had wanted the finish to look like.

He still went for it and he and the earthen dragon slayer trade punches and they both stagger backwards and then the earthen slayer falls flat on his back and is breathing heavily his older bones were screaming at him as he had over done it but he had gotten a decent way in the fights with these younger slayers and he should be proud and the official looks at him and he nods that he wanted to have it called the match ends and Kaito walks over and he puts his hand out and he helps the earthen dragon slayer to his feet then he helps him to the medical tent to be treated. Kaito returned to his seat where Revy and the other two woman cheer for him and hug him and he is confused it seemed that he had made a fan club now out of people he saw as people stronger then himself.
