Kaito

Kaito walks through Baska and he is pumped up, he is tired of the usual fetch quests that he ahs been doing so he is in need of getting the steam off so he is gonna do some fighting and the way that itch can be scratched is to go to the Great rock and to get it all out vs like minded people here for showing off or for glory and getting paid like they are pit fighters back in Hosenka where the free ones were treated like they were gods of their circles and found women by the groups. Kaito knows he has no rush to find a woman for his life, unlike his brother who has a woman and children. He wonders if he will ever actually be able to do such a thing himself as he signs his name up for the fights of the day.

Today seemed to be a more of a solo event for those seeking their solo glory and not that he is against it he just wished that he could have had a team for today but he can't really complain as this means he just gets to stand on his own even if he knows he rather be having fun and fighting side by side with his team mates maybe he will be able to fight some of them in todays fights well at least the rabbit masked and the raven masked ones, the bear masked one might actually show up for this as well but he figures she rather be part of group fights where she can shine and the deer masked one would not compete herself as she a bit more timid when it comes to these things. He sees the rabbit and raven masked allies in the group of people as he walks into the drawing area for when each will be fighting and he hopes they don't just take a knee and allow him to win he wants to fight them or at least one of them.

He wants to prove that he deserves to be their leader that they can relay on and not just a poser who had been sitting on his hands as he keeps himself going for the reasons he is unsure he believes that they would see him as their leader even if he was far weaker then he is, but he knows he needs to figure the goals of the team out but he knows they deserve to not be stuck in limbo as he needs to move his stuff from his home in the east to the west and hope that they can find a good place for him to at least sleep on a couch in case as he has stayed in the west he has been spending his time in a tent camping out. He reaches his hand out as his turn to pull a number comes and he pulls eight, then he looks to the board and he is gonna be fighting number nineteen.

He looks around the room to look for who is the fighter he is gonna have to be fighting and he sees that it is a decent sized man with a full beard and a decent set of gear that might come in handy if the man was to run into a group of bears, with the hammer the man is twirling in his hand makes Kaito worried as it looked like it show weigh a ton but the man is just spinning it in his palm like it is nothing which means one of two things this man is either super strong or the man has gravity magic neither of which sounds like it is gonna be a good thing for Kaito to have to face vs here. He readies himself mentally but he can feel that guy that he is gonna be fighting checking him over and looking for anything that he can exploit and use against him in their fight.

He knows he can not afford to show weakness here as he has a long history of running head long with no plan but today in this fight he is gonna have to play it far more cautious that he not take a direct hit and he has to hope that his sword can keep itself from snapping or breaking with a clash against their hammer and he needs to make sure his body doesn't get hit either and he wasn't gonna just lay down and take it like he is some sort of idiot. He breaths and calms his spirit as his master had taught him as she trained him, nerves do nothing but get you killed or maximize you loss potential in a fight or on a job. Breathing finding the control you do have in the situation something that you can control and they can't take it away from you without a fight without them being better and having the better control and a sharper mind.

Other people are starting to stare at Kaito as well as he is called out for his fight and the man he is against looks like he might be a bit worried about how this fight with Kaito is gonna go after he had heard Kaito's name, as it is well known for being a decently higher ranking mage and he was not that well known of a mage them self just a natural born fighter so this is gonna be a clash of the talented vs the hard working. The fight begins as soon as both men had touched the arena fighting floor as their were so many fighters that had shown up they have to rush the show a little and they know they can't control fight length they have to cute out a bit of the starting stuff to save on time, neither man is making the first move waiting for the other to make the first move and the other capitalize on the mistake the other had made but this fight was gonna be more then just who messes up less.

It is like tow titans will be clashing, as it on a script being played out in front of all these fine people they both moved forward at the very same second and they clashed and it sounded as if some of these blows would hit their mark there would be an echo of thunder on the wind, the missing swings seem to be acting as an air current and the people in the front row watching this are flinching in fear of the wind causing them to topple over backwards or fall out of their seats. Kaito and this man nearly seem evenly matched in pure power and the timings in which they dodge and weave and keeping the other on their toes and Kaito see an opening as the other man swings and the man was too slow to react and is gonna have to take the blow as he had put a little to much power into the attack he angled at Kaito that is he didn't take this blow he was gonna fall to the floor of the arena.

He did not want to end up on the ground at Kaito's mercy if he wanted to live he just had to takle this blow and he had to hope that Kaito will not go for a killing blow on himself and he has to do this as he can feel the fight slowly slipping away from himself as Kaito comes at him more with as many unwasted movements that he could muster in that moment. He nearly clipped Kaito with his hammer and that was it, the next thing the man knows he is on his back looking up at Kaito who points his blade down at him. The man thought that this was it he was dead and Kaito was about to finish him off, he hadn't even said good by to his family that day just fought about him being in the fights today no I love yours just "I can do what I want with my life".

Now that life he boasted about was about to end as the match was called and Kaito took the mans hand and pulled the man to his feet and the man was confused to why Kaito hadn't killed him while he was down like that. He thought that masked man was a ruthless killer not an honorable fighter that would dare to spare him after he had been swinging for the fences with his hammer that if he had connected might of split Kaito's head like a pumpkin but for now he would count his blessings but he knows his wife is gonna be telling him i said so about how dangerous the fights were and that he was gonna end up being killed by someone that he pisses off. Kaito goes to his seat and he takes a drink that Revy is offering him and he sorta feels bad for what he had done to that guy cause he seemed he needed the money or the bragging rights, he readies for his next fight as that one was super taxing and he knows he might not really have time to be relaxing.
