PouchIt was a dark cold night. The wind howled, bored of the dreadful silence which plagued the lands. These lands in Oak were never really popular but at least some sinners liked to hang out here. Typically troubled youth roamed as proof of confidence. Criminals fled and hid while spreading rumors of ghosts, demons, and monsters. These tall tales acted as a blanket, a shield that warded peering eyes of the weak willed soldiers and knights. However, even those who benefited from and used spooky tales for their nefarious deeds were cleared from the area. Not a sinner on site. At least from Tempris’ perspective. The only possible reason for this had to be because some dumb sinner probably messed with the poor spirits who were still chained to their sins. It was such an abomination to interfere on such a level that the suffering seeps through to people on their spiritual level.

If you wanted the belongings of a ghost, why not get the ghost to leave first? Like it just made sense but whatever.
Tempris was wearing a black cloak and dark gray garbs. Her pink necklace held her gear and a White halo appeared over her head. Her goal was to visit the abandoned church. She had been there before and as she stood in front of it, it did not seem as if anything really changed. Nobody was taking care of it but like, it was not deteriorating either. Even despite the remnants of trash from delinquents or maybe not eco friendly criminals, the building looked oddly maintained… in a broken down kind of way. Maybe this was the work of some secret lover of the building, a ghost, or worse, the house was alive the whole time.

Either way, dealing with such heresy would be her specialty anyway. So the girl walked around the building till she saw the cellar entrance. There she would pull open the heavy creaky wooden doors and descend down into the dirty, heretical, dusty, moldy, and sinful passageway.
Once at the bottom of the building, she held out her hand and produced a holy flame to light the area. She did not see anything weird but she did hear footsteps. They were coming from in front of her. So she just simply walked forward. No matter how far she got, the sound of footsteps remained the same, never growing quiet or loud. Never adjusting to any changes in the ground. Then the girl came to a wall. Once at this wall, the footsteps suddenly sounded as if they were behind her.

Tempris quickly turned around as the sound sounded as if it was really close all of a sudden and there she saw a transparent woman whose body looked like a mix between being beaten and being starved. Her skin was blue and her eyes were pale white. If she was alive and not a spirit, she looked as if she would have blood dripping from her mouth but at least Tempris was spared from that sinful sight.
The chain from the woman flew at Tempris. Tempris was ready and ducked under it but this was not a normal chain that followed the laws of physics. No this was a ghastly sinful cold chain that followed the laws of ghost physics, which meant it was going to cover and wrap around Tempris’ waist. Then the chain somehow spun around her and yanked Tempris towards the spirit.

Tempris was incredibly angry but she bared it just for a moment. “I do not know why your upset sinful spirit but I am here to help… not…” Tempris was picked up and slammed into the ceiling. Then the spirit started to scream something about her precious treasure. A great mighty spoon. Tempris struggled in the chains before promising to bring the item back. The spirit stopped and started to tremble. This trembling turned into flat out crying. Balling eyes filled the room with a horrifying cold as life was sapped away from all the living things in the space. Tempris finally broke free and then dusted herself off. “Okay, so where is this spoon?”
Tempris entered the town where the ghost claimed her most precious belonging was being hidden.

Well, it had to be some sort of treasure since it was causing all this trouble. Shoot, Tempris prayed this spoon had like freaking diamonds and was made out of gold or something. It probably was not the case but to go through all this trouble. She shook her head and kept walking.
She wished the ghost could come with her or do some sort of ghost magic to figure out where this person was. All she knew was the person’s name, their love a swords and their desire to create some super stupid style of using 3 swords. Oh also they liked to work out a lot. But like, why would someone like that want a stupid spoon? To Tempris, this sounded like a meat head.

She started asking the general public if had heard of anyone who fit this description. Given the whole sword thing, she opted for not given the gender. If someone was dumb enough to put a sword in their mouth. Then two of them would be friends. Thus, if you find one idiot, then you can find All the idiots. At least, thats how it works with sinners.
Eventually, she would get a clue. An address to a training spot in the forest. Nobody went there except for this person who really liked swords. She would go there with a large block of wood and come back with smaller planks. That seemed to be good enough so Tempris headed to that forest area. There she found a nice tree and sat there watching the area. It would be a couple hours before anyone came but boy did she strike gold.
Eventually, she would get a clue. An address to a training spot in the forest. Nobody went there except for this person who really liked swords. She would go there with a large block of wood and come back with smaller planks. That seemed to be good enough so Tempris headed to that forest area. Tempris would drop down to surprise the woman.
“Miss sword person. Do you by chance have a spoon you stole from a ghost?”
The woman gasped and started to tremble before standing straight up and pretending to be serious. She claimed she did not know about stealing any spoons from any graves at all. She also claimed that she did not need such good luck items for her future ambitions. Tempris would immediately charge the woman but she would draw a sword and shout out “Single sword style.” With a swipe, she threaten to take Tempris’ head clean off. Lucky for the girl, she was prepared and dodge the attack by sliding. Then she went into a roll and then tackled the midriff of the woman. See Tempris could have pulled out her sword but she needed the location of this spoon first.

The woman, trying to pretend to have a sense of honor agreed and pulled the spoon out of her pocket. Tempris took and and stood up. Then she helped the woman up. But then tempris just clocked her with a left hook across her jaw knocking her up. “Yeah, next time I will not be so nice sinful scum.”
Tempris would then take this spoon and inspected.

It was a stupid metal spoon plauged with rust and dirt and well, probably eons of sin. Why in the world would anyone want this crap? Why would someone trap their soul to this sinful realm for such a dumb item. Tempris was baffled but she left the area. When she returned to the abandon building she was greeted by the woman and her chains. Returning the spoon the spirit was in glee. It was here that she shared her story.
