Kaito

Kaito got a request about dealing with some ghosts and he wonders if this request was serious or if it was a real request to someone but false to another type of quest. he walks in and he heads into the basement and he hears screams and noises but he doesn't know if they are real or just echoes of the past finally making it back from when people were tortured in areas like this sometimes they can be forever echoing back and forth forever. He doesn't know what he is truly in for down here as he rounds a corner he sees cultists and they are capturing spirits in circles and sending them off he wonders if they work for that woman Vex or if these ones belong to a different cult it seems the souls are suffering from what ever they are doing to them, but he is unsure how he could really help them.

He keeps going deeper into the underground the place seems so much colder and crueler then where he had been before he feels like he did back in his cell in the research lab being poked and prodded. He is starting to see memories of himself from someone elses eyes and he can't tell if he is himself or if he is someone else, as they talk he can see flashes of papers and other people and places none of it makes sense to him it is all just pretty much blurs and other things are flying past his eyes and he thinks it is time to find what ever it is that was attacking his mind or showing him these things, the ring on his hand is glowing and it stops and the visions subside for the time, he hears the ring on his hand whispering to him in and elven tongue and he nods to it.

He walks like the ring told him to do and listen and he hears crying of a woman and he keeps walking toward it he hadn't the slightest idea of what he was even looking for just being lead along and then a flash happens and he is in a different place that was far more bright and far less dirty but Revy wasn't with him. He looks around and sees mages and what he would be guessing is their leaders they look odd and are dressed strangely like they are from a different time then his own time, or if it is his dimensional powers acting up and showing him a different dimension than the one he is from. He tries to touch things but his hand goes through them, he figures he must be in a memory and that nothing he is seeing is really able to harm or challenge him.

But he keeps himself ready for if this memory turns into a nightmare and he has to fight something or fight someone in this area cause it is not one of the greatest of ideas to just let his guard down and get destroyed by them cause he had no idea of the evil that might be lurking in here that could just reach out and touch his pure untainted soul. he keeps walking around and looks at the people he walks past and a lot of them just look smeared or faceless he guesses these were just the people they passed by on this day so they weren't worth whose ever memories these are to have remembered them or maybe they had only just rushed past them and never looked any of them in the face or the eye. He wonders if she was a beggar or maybe someone that was used by nobles.

Kaito hears people mumbling and whispering about who ever this woman is and he can't make it out he figures it is because she couldn't either. He keeps following the path to look for anything that might be ahead and he holds his sword at the ready as he isn't sure if this means he has a chance to die coming up or not as the area is slowly getting darker and more grim looking like it was a part that was dreaded and fear was setting in. He keeps on edge as he follows the woman not he was no longer seeing through her eyes but he felt like he wanted to stab her in the back or slash her head off. He wonders if he is now in her murders body, this blood thirst felt unreal was this man her lover or was he just a monster that shouldn't have been around people to even start with.

He can feel his ring pulsing and he wonders what it wants if it is trying to snap him out of his daze cause maybe it felt him slipping to be the dark on here instead of helping the ghost that is showing him this all right now and he snaps out of it and he walks next to the woman and she looks elven in appearance and she had chains on her body she was a slave. She had crimson red eyes and her skin was dark, she must be one of the dark elf races but as he had never seen one up close he couldn't tell from what tribe she would have came from. He guesses she was either a war trophy or was taken at a young age as her body looked under feed and she looked nearly empty in her eyes and she wondered what it could really mean for any of this.

He was in a rush to see where this goes when the time came to see what happened to her they walked into a room with a High elf, a Daemon, a  Nephilim, a dwarf and a human standing in it the woman was forced to her knees and they nailed her hands down to a block of wood, then started taking turns torturing her. It looks like she was trying to scream but all that came out was muted, it seemed either this woman was born mute or she had been silenced with magic that locked the pained screams she had in side of her. He started to feel sick watching this and his ring pulsed again and he lifted his sword just in time to stop a slash from a sword from an unseen attacker and he slides back and the others reacted in the memory and started coming at him he was fighting them as well as another that he couldn't see with his eyes.

He realized what it is, it is a demon, but is it the one that cursed him is the question or was it just the demon that they were giving this woman's blood and soul to. He slashes through the daemon and the nephilim, the dwarf was far more study and the elf and human are working as a team parrying him and casting at him keeping him on his toes. He he gets a good grounding with his feet then he runs and he spins while slashing and the dwarf falls and the human gets a small bit of it and the elf got a kick to the face and he casted his warping field and the elf screamed as he was torn apart and the woman looked at him as he freed her and she was covered in light her soul was now freed from the endless torment. He returned to his own world and he walks up and he tells them about it and he is paid Revy just tells him he had just stopped mid step and she was worried about him.
