Kaito

Kaito had been itching to try his hand at doing a tournament here at the Baska rock he had never actually made it to the huge rock where all the fighting would be happening. He walks up instead of using his dimensional shifting to protect himself from having a trump card being shown to early and Revy gives him, his cape and his sword. He feels like this might be fun and he wonders if his god daughter will be in the crowd but he doubts that Quilla would want her watching adults hit each other or this violent blood shed that he hears happens here some times. He figures maybe he will have to show off to Suza someday when he is a better fighter, though he doubts her mother would like him to be teaching her to fight or having he witness him fighting like that. He walks over and gets signed up for the tournament.

He is given a number and he goes and takes his seat as he waits for the last of the men and woman that were signing up to be in it he is unsure if he can fight a woman or not but he realizes this is a mixed fight match and he didn't bring a partner then a blast from his past shows up in her black rabbit mask and she bumps him. "Been awhile Kaito." He starts laughing at this woman in a cloak and rabbit mask. It had been years since he and his team had went out into the world to enjoy themselves and train. "That it has you seem like you got a bit taller." The woman turns away and Kaito figures he has embarrassed her a bit with that. He knows if she is his partner they will win this thing or if Mafume had came on a day it was just team not mixed he figured he would still win with that old samurai.

Kaito goes and makes sure they are teamed that way he doesn't have to risk them having to fight each other and she looks at his back and she can tell he had changed from the carefree klutz he was the last time she had seen him. She figures she was at a good enough level to return to his side to serve him. She hopes they all will return to him but it had been awhile since she had heard from her sisters or the old swordsmen she hoped they were well. They walk out to the first fight of the day of the three they will be in the woman takes the cloak off of herself but keeps her rabbit mask on and she draws her daggers and kai smiles as he readies himself. They are vs a giant woman and a dwarf man he wonders if they were together or if the people that made the teams did it so they could laugh at them.

The giant woman swings her hammer and the rabbit masked woman already shows her speed and she dodges with ease and Kaito meets his sword with the dwarf's axe, the dwarf looked nearly dumbfounded as his swings were being stopped or parried by the human man in front of him and kaito keeps the dwarf on the back foot as his team mate is hitting and running the giant woman and Kaito is glad that she hadn't lost a step in the time she was away and he finishes off the dwarf in short order as he was sorta just all muscle and no planning so Kaito just used it against him and he watches his team mate, go in and out of invisibility from her items then she flips backwards dodging the hammer that was a hairbreadth from hitting her and the smaller woman's demon wings came out and she flew right up into the giant woman's face a swinging her daggers at her.

The giant woman spins and swings and is about to hit the daemon girl and Kaito intervenes and the hammer disappeared so it didn't hit the daemon woman and the daemon woman finishes off the giant woman and she lands returning to normal but now she has questions like where the hammer went and Kaito points and the hammer is on the ground behind the giant woman's knocked out body and Kaito smiles. The woman wondered if the giant woman had just dropped her hammer on the back swing or if something else happened. They return to their seats and she wonders if Kaito some how had protected her. Had he gained that much power while they were part. She pets Revy who was glad to see her as well and eats a sweet that Kaito had offered her and she wonders if he had found a cure but she can tell as he still wears the bandages that he had not.

She wondered if he was seeing someone or if he was still on his path of I am solo and I will not claim to the fame of having someone that can love me and he will just avoid seeking it on his own right or if maybe he had finally awakened to love but she wasn't gonna ask as she had no right to do such a thing right now as they had fallen out of contact and never ended up meeting up with the us like they were meant to that day two months ago and she wondered if he was sad alone when he returned or if he had just figured they were mad or hated him. The next fight is called and she puts Revy down then walks out with him and she looks at the two well toned fighter in front of them and this time it is Kaito that makes the first move and the fighters were not ready and the one he hit like a truck went tumbling back and nearly goes flying off the rock fighting area.

Their team mate runs at the rabbit masked woman, they begin their fight the man Kaito hit is not standing back up as he had watched them doing combo fight moves in their first fight of the night and Kaito wasn't gonna let them try pulling that kind of thing off in this fight vs them as this was a reunion of friends that hadn't seen each other in a long time and he was not gonna let them Knock them out with some fancy combo move and Kaito watches not going to get into the girl fight he is watching he sees her form and he weapon handling had grown a lot in the last two years. The rabbit masked woman clashes and sneaks around as she fights with the other woman who has to keep, keeping track of the smaller swift woman. The smaller woman strikes and moves like she is the shadows.

She gets the finishing blow then the last team is brought out to them to fight, they look like knights almost but they lacked the sheen a real knight would seemingly have, Kaito is gonna go all out and use his magic this time around as they go and dangers strike at the knights just start unleashing the magic as they go Kaito teleports around as he clashes with them and working as bait for their spells and attacks so that the rabbit masked woman can handle taking down at least one of them and not let himself get hit as he keeps light on his feet like he is dancing as he steps out of the rifts and he looks like he is having fun with them as he wasn't gonna let them hit him and he sees that one knight just got taken out by his team mate and he moves to take out the other knight unsure if it is a man or a woman, he hits them with a storm of kicks and Kaito swing his own body to finish this, then they walk off the fighting field to cheers and they get their rewards and he agrees to let the woman serve him again.
