Azure wasn't sure what to do now that he was part of a guild that didn't have a clear direction of light or Dark but either way it had opened up new doors for him. Eternal Night still had much to offer him but at the same time was growing stale when it came to advancing in their goal or goals as nearly everyone had their own, Maybe this was the right choice? a question that he would need to think more about later. One of his correspondents had asked him to check out a manor that was in the area and meet with the owner.

Finding the place wasn't hard given it was the most well-lit place in the whole area but from what they told him getting in by normal means wasn't an option. After lock picking his way into the home via a balcony, he felt a wave of magic wash over him like he had just stepped into a trap.

As he made his way about the manor he could hear the sound of flip-flops rapidly approaching him but when he turned around he could see anyone until he felt something tug in his pant leg. A small white duck had been the one behind the sounds he heard "Aww." his child's side was in full control as he found the duck to be rather cute. They picked up the duck and tucked it under their arm "I'm totally gonna take you home with me." he said making his way to the second floor.

While he explored the manor he found it to be lacking in some departments but it had its charm. The sound of sobbing echoed could be heard from the first floor. "Come on Ducksir let's check it out." as they made their way to the first floor the sobbing become louder and louder. Down a dimly light hallway was a light that came from a single room to which the sobbing must have been coming from. The whole scene felt as though he was living through one of his horror stories from the dimly light hallway right down to the loud sobbing.

clutching onto the Duck tightly the informant made his way over to the lit room. Azure paused just short of the door and pulled out the letter that his correspondent gave him as it mentioned a woman grieving over her lover or something like that. "Well Duke looks like we found the target." pushing the door open he found a man in bed, the duck squirmed out from his arms and rushed over to the man. Still unsure of the situation he pulled out his grimoire in case of any surprise attack.

He examined the room to find notes and some equipment scattered about when it came to one side of him. "What do you mean he's the duck!?" he asked Mature aloud given that the person in the bed matched the description of Marlee's fiancé. Azure poked the man only to be quacked at, not sure as to what just happened he poked the man again to which he quaked again. "Oh my god Duckinstine is this you!?" he asked picking up the duck and pointing at the bedridden man.

Needless to say, the informant felt rather silly for treating his target in such a way but the only way for him to make up for such a lack of professionalism was to get him back in the correct body.

Now that he had a better grasp of the situation Azure was going to solve this case quickly while having some fun with it as it was a funny thing to be wrapped up in. The Duck moved its head as it pointed at something behind him, quickly turning around he saw a stack of papers and some strange equipment next to them. The papers were nothing short of the ramblings of a mad man trying to convey their thoughts but parts of it did have some interesting thing written.

While he went over the notes Doc tugged on his leg again trying to get his attention when he noticed that within the papers on the desk they mentioned another room within the building. "What is it?" he asked putting down the notes only to see that the duck was now next to the door waiting on him "Umm okay sure."

Azure followed the Duck as they went back into the dimly lit hallway Weird never thought I would be following a man trapped inside a duck, he thought as he could feel strong dense magic energy from one of the rooms. The informant dropped to his knees as his head started to ring.

The ringing felt like the effect of a spell or an enchantment I must be close he thought picking himself up and continuing following behind the duck. They made their way back up to the second floor where the ringing had become worse. Nothing was adding up anymore and even though this wasn't the weirdest thing he encountered. Finally reaching their target location the two found a weird-looking man standing in front of a large device. Mr.Duck quacked loudly as they entered the room causing the man to turn around and mutter something to himself.

As the mad man went on to more than likely explain their story Blu fell to his knees once again as he noticed a bird in the far left freaking out in a cage. From what he was able to get from the rambling the device behind him was the cause of it all, he took a deep breath and flicked his wrist as two drifts opened behind the device "Okay..." with a snap of his fingers a tendril and fist shot out the drifts destroying the device. Parts of the device fell on top of the man as Blu regained his footing "He wanted to transfer my mind into a bird!" he shouted as he heard footsteps rushing up the stairs and into the room. It was Dr. Duck but in his human body once again "Well guess you can go back to your lady now hehe." he said walking past him and hopefully out the manor.
