Ikanbi
It didn't take long for Ikanbi to change her mind about the date. Here in Oak, it was easy to find literally anything else to do, or anyone. Truly, it had been such a breeze to blow off her date and instead head to a different bar. She figured nothing of it, really, though wondered if Kuva might scald her for not at least telling the poor boy she wasn't coming. Still, the night was young and Ikanbi had yet to find anyone of particular interest that she wanted to take home. She waited at the bar, sitting cross-legged and clutching a small pocket knife. Sipping her drink, she admired the finish on the bar top and tipped the bartender handsomely.

Turning her attention to the other patrons of the pub, she scanned the room as someone played lightly on their stringed instrument off a ways away. Lively and rowdy, the bar was jam-packed and quite noisy. It would be easy for someone to blend in here. No sooner had the thought crossed her mind than the alcohol hit her and she could feel its false warmth in her cheeks. Eventually, a rather bold man said something wise to her and though she almost clocked him on the spot, she decided to let it go.

She wondered whether or not Koi was goin to turn up. The invitation to spend some time together not working was enticing, Ikanbi needed to socialize better, truly. She glanced at the clock on the wall and realized her date was likely arriving to the other bar, where Ikanbi wouldn't be. Oh well, she thought to herself. She just didn't have to heart to tell him he annoyed the hell out of her. Truly though, was not showing up for the date any better?

Koi
Did it matter what was happening? No. Love was the most important thing in the world and her friend Lii knew that. Yet, for some reason Lii decided to skip out on a date. How could she? It was time that Koi taught her a lesson. She did not care what Lii was doing. She did not care where she was. Koi was marching over to her right now. And well, going to yell at her and scold her a bunch. And then after that maybe give her a head pat... though she was going to need a stool but then after that, offer a juice box cause well you cannot improve yourself on a empty juiceless stomach and if she was really cute about it, maybe she would give her a hug. BUT FIRST IT WAS TIME FOR PUNISHMENT FOR THE POWER OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP WAS EVERYTHING! PERIOD.

"LII Im so sad. Why did you miss your date! Fight me!!!!"

Ikanbi
Admittedly, Ikanbi had not particularly expected for Koi of all people to scold her for her behavior. Then again, why did she not? Everything Ikanbi knew about Koi told her that she would be displeased with her actions, so, why then was she surprised? It must be the alcohol, she surmised, and had another shot as Koi spoke to her. Why did she skip out on the date? Why not? Men like that were everywhere, he had been nothing special. Truly, she could find another four of him here in Swineherd.

"What's it to you, Koi?" Ikanbi said drunkenly, her cheeks rosy with inebriation. She continued, "I really don't get why you're upset. It's not like I skipped out on a date with you..." She stood from her seat and got very intimately close to Koi's face. "I think you should get the hell over it." Her face was rather cross, Ikanbi was quite clearly upset, she attempted to shove Koi.

Koi
Koi's face puffed up. How could Lii not understand this. Love was special and finding that person you love will lead not only you to happiness but your future families and generations! That was why Koi was able to be were she was and happy. Someone before her found that person they love and found happiness. In that happiness that had a good time and proceeded to perform those sacred acts of courtship. In short the woman was wrong because she was denying herself and future generations happiness. It was not the power of friendship!!!

Koi stepped forward only for Lii to push her back. Koi fell down onto her butt a bit upset. How could she find strength in things that go against love and friend ship. If Koi could, she would scream and turn her hair yellow or hold out her hand and summon all the mana from those people who have love in their heart and drop that energy down on the Villain that was Lii. Did this make them not friends? Hell no. This just mean Koi had to show her friend the power of Friendship and love and hope and dreams.

Koi would jump up to her feet and then dive at Lii in an attempt to grapple her. Her cries of rage and poutiness would fill the room. If she would connect she would attempt to slam Lii into the ground and mount the woman. All of this would be possible because Koi would be grabbing the girl's legs and squeezing them together in hopes to get Lii lose her balance and thus making it easier to lift the girl off the ground. It was a proper wrestling move too and koi loved wrestling though she never thought she would use it for this reason.

Ikanbi
Truly surprised at how easily Koi had toppled over, Ikanbi was less surprised when they immediately got back up. It didn't matter the reason, it didn't matter the place, they were about to brawl. Ikanbi's eyes locked onto Koi's and she was surprised at Koi's strength as she charged her and lifted her with ease for her size. "Hey what are you?!" Ikanbi let out. She attempted to shuffle around and slip loose from Koi, but it was no use after all. Ikanbi began to spin her body, forcing herself and Koi along with her to fall towards the ground together, hard.

Ikanbi landed on her hip and she winced as the sharp pain racked through her bone. This was not the ideal place for a floor fight but Koi had certainly turned it into one. Irritated, Ikanbi aimed a slap directly at the side of Koi's head, though she did pull it a bit, not wanting to truly hurt her partner, but certainly wanting to send a message. "Get the hell off me Koi," she had said as she threw the slap.

Koi
As Koi grabbed Lii's legs, Koi would shout, "Love is the most important thing." As she picked up Lii, she would add another line, "And not respecting your love is stopping the love the future." With the girl on the ground and mounted, Koi saw the girl priming to slap her. Koi could not move well and keep her superior position on the girl while dodging the attack. Koi did not want to give up her position either so she decided to trade an arm for an arm. She would raise her arm on the same side that the girl tried to it her and strike the arm in a wild rising motion. This should have bot arms connect and deal damage to each other. Assuming that this was successful, Koi would then use her other hand to try to hit that same arm Lii used to to try and slap her, just under the shoulder. "Love over powers all. I will prove it.

Ikanbi
She had to admit, Koi was more adamant about the power of love and friendship than Ikanbi had previously thought. Perhaps she was truly not one to be underestimated then. So be it, Ikanbi surmised, and though both of their arms connected, Ikanbi reached with the one hand to grab Koi's hand as it reached towards her shoulder, then used her other hand to dust off Koi's shirt.

She composed herself, and smiled, though the rest of her face showed absolutely no emotion to speek of, save for the fact her cheeks were quite red for being a desiertian. "Koi...I told you to get off of me and you didn't listen. Do you feel safe because you are sitting on top of me?" Immediately, instead of dusting her off, Ikanbi grabbed Koi's shirt, and pulled Koi towards herself and herself towards Koi as she slammed her own forehead as hard as she could towards Koi's nose, then released Koi's hand that she had been holding by rolling it downwards with her wrist, forcing it out of the way so that Ikanbi could launch an elbow to Koi's temple to follow up her headbutt.

Koi
She did it, she deflected the woman's strike and was about to show the truth power of love but Lii grabbed her hand and then grabbed her shirt and pulled her in to head but her. The shock from the attack send her reeling back but she maintained her mounted position. However, this would lead to being a huge mistake as the woman would then aim a elbow to her temple. Koi would be unable to react and take the full force of the blow to her temple and fall over in the opposite direction of the blow, or the direction the elbow would have pushed her. Koi would fall over and hit the ground sliding on her front a couple inches. Her head felt dizzy and she could feel her connection to her body weaken along with her magic power. She trembled and tried to slowly pick herself up but it was troubling. "Lii... love is not suppose to be safe. It is a dangerous and long journey as you explore the landmine of experience from you partner. It is hard. You may not even succeed. But... you can never give up. You got to fight and that's how I will live. That's how I want you to live."

Ikanbi
Ikanbi groaned with ache. Ache of the head, ache of the face, ache of the heart. Koi had hit her where it really, truly hurt. Right in her feels, Ikanbi stared at Koi as tears rolled down her face. She didn't want this, she really didn't, but Koi was just refusing to get off of her. She threw another strike, coming from the opposite side of before and then she began another headbutt out of instinct but stopped when she realized she had made such a direct hit on Koi's temple.

Admittedly, she was concerned. It had been a hard strike, and it surely hadn't felt like the powers of love and friendship at all. Her brow furrowed. "Have you had enough?" Ikanbi said to her and motioned to roll over, attempting to shove Koi off of her and to the ground as Ikanbi stood to tower over her. She checked to see whether Koi was conscious and realized she wasn't. "Shit." She said, and stooped down, picking Koi up and throwing her over her shoulder.

Ikanbi threw some change to the bartender for their trouble and carried Koi out the building. Walking with Koi on her shoulder, Ikanbi began to sing an incredibly sad song as she walked towards her quarters. Eventually, she made it to the inn where Ikanbi had been staying. She tucked Koi into bed, Ikanbi slept on the floor, feeling guilty about the events that had transpired while she had been drinking.
