Kaito

Kai walks with a letter he'd been handed from the manager Yua at the theater, he wonders what this Neru person is like, cause the prop team seemed scared of her, but the manager seemed calm about this person, so he figures there has to be some reason to be on his guard here, the sun seems to be blinding today, he had an earlier start then normal, to do this quest, figuring doing it earlier before extra factors of the day will not have skewed their disposition, and what ever is in this letter won't end up with him in a fight not that he is scared of a fight just he doesn't really want to be put in the spot that he has to start a fight so early in the day cause it would really just ruin the mood for the rest of the day for him.

Revy is walking beside him as they go from the theater district to the next area, people of the upper districts are staring at them and she wonders if it is Kai or her they are staring at but she tries to put it out of her head cause she had become more use to being out of the north being stared at when she was out and around, though she wished they would stop gawking, she knows that she would probably stare if they saw something as rare as her and as out of the norm that Kai is. She sees they are being followed by a flower cloaked man, she knows they mean well but she wishes they would listen and not follow them every where they go, even if they feel they owe their lives to Kai. Kai thinks he sees the place and he lifts the exceed up into his arms.

The building looked more high end like it is some kind of massage parlor, he wonders if they had told him the wrong place but he walks in anyways and he hands the letter over to a slim black haired woman that looked like her eyes could glare right through him, but as soon as she saw who the letter was for her face seems to lose color as she went pale and looked like she might be getting light headed, he gets a knot in his stomach from how she just reacted to seeing the name. She has him sit down in one of the chairs in a side room to wait for Neru to get back to him. He feels on edge but he knows if it comes to it he is willing to fight with this Neru person, even if he doesn't feel like doing it, Revy has his back as well and will fight with him if needed.

Kaito

A different black haired slender woman dressed a far amount better then the lady that lead him into this room walks in and she looks very displeased. ”Do you think this is some kids game!?” The woman moves her hands in an elegant pattern and a Multi-colored magic seal appears and she points at Kai who is bound in her threat magic. Kai relaxes and wants to see where this is gonna go cause he knows if she makes skin to skin contact with him she is gonna be weakened for a slight amount of time giving him a chance to break free and fight back. ”I am gonna get rid of them and you for this, this is no game!” She pulls his mask off and looks him in the eyes and she stops for a second at looking at how he looks then she smirks a confident smirk and that reaches for his face.

”Such a waste of a good looking man.” Her voice was teasing as if she will enjoy tearing him apart, though seeing it a true waste of a good set of genes. ”I may be a beautiful rose but I have thorns so you shouldn't touch.” The woman scuffs at him seeing his words as an empty threat, she touches his face with her bare palm and her eyes go wide and she drops to her knees her hand still touching his face having seen herself burning wrapped in her own fabrics screaming for help, but no one can hear her as a fabric was covering her mouth so all she could do was burn and suffer in a losing fight to live. Revy runs out from where she had hid just in case and she drop kicks the lady making her hand leave his face which snaps her out of the vision she saw.

”You were right about those thorns...” She steps back then goes to start using her magic again, but Kai breaks free and he runs at her, snapping his fingers and swiping his hand through the magic seals that appears, they hit her and she stumbles back and Kai catches her and swings her back onto her feet, she looks confused to why he would stop her from falling. Kai points at her using her momentary confusion and snaps his finger a cyan magic seal appearing below her feet, Kai then raises his finger and a swirl of sparkling Frost tendrils attempts to bind her legs. She looks down at the bindings on her legs and she smiles at the pretty colors the tendrils took on her against her kimono, slightly inspiring her with an idea. She breaks the bind and throws a fan out of her sleeve at Kai who dodges to the side springing off of his hand.

Kaito

She releases a small giggle at his nimble movement to dodge the fan she threw at him and she catches it as it comes back around to her. ”Pretty nimble for a human, I think I might like you.” She starts making another elegant pattern with her hands and Kai keeps his guard up and then tendrils of fabric shoot out from magic seals behind her swiping and trying to grab him. Revy opens her magic sack and Kai's katana appears in his hand and lets him cut through the fabric and he runs in closer while trying not to get grabbed or hit. She ends up getting him with a feint, sending Kai flying back into the wall. Kai keeps his footing after he lands and breaks free from the fabric that had tightly wrapped him nearly in a cocoon like form. She is quite enjoying this fight with him.

She is gonna go for one more big attack but she thinks she has seen enough from him that she will be happy enough to wave the debt and maybe not kill them all. Her hand movements make a star pattern and a patchwork creature comes from the multi-colored magic seal and Kai takes a step back, knowing if this hit him, he is probably gonna end up as pulp, Kai swiftly makes an x with two slashes of his hand in the air and an x shaped projectile comes flying out and hits the creature and Kai was following in the slipstream of the spell and he jumps and slashes the creature to finish it off, and he lands perfectly in front of the woman who is looking at him with a devilish grin. ”Seems they sent someone impressive, to get me to sign.” She pulls out a contract and signs it.

She looks at Kai and hands it to him. ”This is a contract saying I waved the debt. So they no longer need to pay it anymore.” Kai takes it and puts it safely in his bag so that it won't get damaged or lost. ”Thank you for your time miss Neru.” She laughs at him being so polite after she had just threaten his life and the prop departments lives and she and him were fresh out of combat, she thinks to herself that this was an odd yet fun encounter but she now had some work to do, she sees the exceed eyeing her and she thinks the little thing is cute but it should stop glaring at her. ”Also one more thing please never come back here ever again.” She didn't make eye contact with him she just walks out of the side room without another look back at him or the small cat like creature.

Kai lets out a sigh of relief, he kneels and lets Revy climb on to his back who puts his mask in his hood and he walks out of the building and is heading back for the theater with Revy. ”I think that woman had a few screws loose in her head to act and attack you like that.” Kai agrees partially to what Revy just said but he wonders what she saw when she touched his face, cause it looked super painful from the look on her face, maybe she saw her greed being her own undoing in the end. He shakes it off even though he feels back his curse effected another person. He gets himself and Revy back to the theater and he hands over the contract to the manger who looks him up and down and sees that it must have gone very roughly from how he looks a little beat up and he isn't wearing his mask like he normally would be. She gets out his reward and gently pets Revy on the head then Kai and Revy head on their way toward home.
