Poropo Extreme Palpation! [Training] Empty Fri Oct 22, 2021 9:15 pm

Poropo Poproporp
Poropo went into a familiar location in order to train - the Fieros Girdle! This is the place the monk decided to revisit after a long few weeks of being away - this place brought back good and bad memories which was why the monk felt conflicted about coming here to train again. However, being without spells despite having the ability to cast spells meant the Iron Deity was testing the monk's resolve to train here once more! The monk clasped his hand and attempted to pray to the Iron Deity for a safe training environment, "Oh Iron Deity, bless me with the safest training I have ever had - I only wish to summon from your ranks and nothing more today...please."

Poropo then took a meditative sit on the dusty ground of the Fieros Girdle - the volcano in the near-distance meant he was likely going to be pelted by ash and debris if he was not able to protect himself, so the monk concentrated extremely hard on the idea of summoning an angel to protect him. Clasping his hands, the monk prayed as hard as he could, "Oh Iron Deity, bless me with the ability to re-summon the First Arch Immortal - he was of great help when I needed a large wall to protect myself or as a means to defeat impurity...please bless me with his presence once more."

The monk prayed for a few more minutes and then felt a little more exhausted than he normally would while praying and meditating - Poropo felt as though he was actually getting somewhere with his connection to the Iron Deity! Despite being exhausted already, the monk continued to pray as hard as he could in order to summon the Iron Deity! Unfortunately, the monk would be forced to pray for hours near the boiling lava and scalding heat of the volcanic pools - the Iron Deity was testing the monk's resolve more than ever before with this particular training.

"Oh Iron Deity, I am getting extremely exhausted! I beg of you, please let me summon something before lava burns the skin from my body! HAAAAAAAA!" yelled the monk with his eyes closed and hands clasped in prayer. The yell was not something the monk felt was necessary - perhaps the Iron Deity was telling the monk what to do in order to summon the First Arch Immortal once more! The monk continued to do as his body wanted, presumably guided by the silent voice of the Iron Diety!

A few seconds of screaming later, a large magic circle appeared a few meters away from the monk! From the magic circle burst forth a volume of light which was familiar to him - the same amount of light which prompted the summoning of the First Arch Immortal! However, upon closer inspection, the light started to form into an unfamiliar shape - the light was condensing as normal, but the shape looked more like a wall with intricate designs! Poropo did not know what to make of this strange, bright silhouette until finally the shape took enough form to be completely visible with detail.

The angel which the monk summoned looked like an iron curtain! Poropo watched as the Immortal Curtain turned to look at the monk, waving one of the countless appendages which made up the flowing curtain. Just as before, the monk could tell what the Immortal Curtain was saying and decided to say in return to the Immortal Curtain, "my name is Poropo Poproporp - pleasure to meet you, Immortal Curtain! I am in need of your protection from the surrounding environment while I attempt to summon a companion of yours."

--------------------------------------------

Poropo had managed to summon one of the Iron Deity's higher ranking Immortals, the Immortal Curtain. The monk was not sure why the naming convention for the Immortals had suddenly changed nor why the appearance was so much different than before, but Poropo would never question the Iron Deity's will. All the monk wanted to do was stop impurity from spreading while spreading the teachings of the Iron Deity! This meant making enemies and defending himself from those enemies which meant summoning as many of the Immortals from the Iron Deity's angelic ranks as possible! The monk conversed with the Immortal Curtain while continuing to focus on summoning more metallic angels.

"Do you happen to know why you are so different than the Immortal I have summoned up to this point?" ask Poropo while keeping his eyes fixed on the single eye of the Immortal Curtain. The Immortal Curtain was a curious angel from the monk's perspective - a somewhat segmented body with several appendages swaying like a curtain. The monk imagined touching the metallic curtain would feel like true metal rather than cloth, but the movement seemed so cloth-like despite being condensed light! The Immortal Curtain responded to the monk's question using a soothing, metallic screech which Poropo could barely comprehend - only the idea of the Immortal Curtain's answer was able to pierce the monk's thick skull.

"Ah, my change in magic has also caused a restructuring within the rankings of the Iron Deity's legion - how odd, I must admit. What did my change in magic have to do with restructuring everything? Did the restructuring...hurt?" asked the monk, feeling guilty for being the cause of these drastic changes to the Iron Deity's legion. The monk had no idea he pulled so much sway within the Iron Deity's ranks, but this was to be expected when only Poropo could summon the angels - the Iron Deity seemed to care very much for Poropo Poproporp despite being an old, frail, and rotund old man.

The Immortal Curtain continued to answer the monk's questions, or at least as many as the Immortal Curtain could muster - not all question had answers which could be conveyed with metallic screeching, no matter how smooth the voice of the Immortal Curtain may have been. The monk's head started to hurt as well - more screeching meant more skull vibrations for the monk which accumulated into sore muscles. All the monk could do was listen and wince which the Immortal Curtain noticed fairly quickly - with a wave goodbye, the Immortal Curtain disappeared into a burst of light.

"Goodbye, Immortal Curtain - until I need you again...thank you. Wait, why is there another magic circle?" wondered the monk as he squinted his eyes - another magic circle appeared where the Immortal Curtain had just hovered. This magic circle was just as large as the previous! Poropo prepared himself and poured mana into the circle in order to summon another burst of light to be condensed into a brand new Immortal!

Poropo watched as the light condensed into another, unfamiliar shape - the shape was somewhat similar in basic form to the Immortal Curtain, a wall of sorts, but as the shape and details became more clear the monk knew this looked more like a gate with countless, clasping hands! The monk met the Immortal Gate, a relative of sorts to the Immortal Curtain - two of the Iron Deity's trusted portals which lead to nowhere but protection for the devote monk! "Hello, my name is Poropo Poproporp! I can see you have a resemblance to the Immortal Curtain - I am glad to see the Iron Deity's ranks have cohesion."

--------------------------------------------

The monk had another, long conversation, but this time with the newly met Immortal Gate - this Immortal was just as strange as the Immortal Curtain in appearance. However, the monk did not have time to dwell on each and every metallic angel's appearance - the monk was with the Fieros Girdle in order to summon more angels which he wanted do accomplish within a reasonable amount of time. "Good to have spoken with you, too, Immortal Gate. I must continued to summon more of your comrades, but I cannot sustain you for much longer if you are to stay." The Immortal Gate seemed to nod and re-clasp their dozens of appendages in agreement, dissolving into light just as the Immortal Curtain had done.

The monk was becoming unbearably exhausted - Poropo had to get out of his sitting position and stretch in order to sit back down and continue praying to the Iron Deity, "Oh Iron Deity, I thank you for the angels you have brought before me - however, I must ask you bring less taxing angels next. I cannot sustain myself nor the Immortals much longer and i need to get as much done today as I can before I am found, alone and vulnerable." The Iron Deity seemed to agree and another, much smaller magic circle appeared a few meters ahead of the meditating monk.

This time the light seemed to condense into a extremely unfamiliar shape! Unlike with the Immortal Gate, the monk could not compare this silhouette to any other Immortal he had summoned in recent memory! This shape looked more like a stool than any sort of useful angel, though the monk could find a use for this stool-shaped Immortal in no time at this rate. The monk was greeted by the site of the Immortal Stool, one of the middle-ranking angels within the Iron Deity's ranks - an exciting and manageable change of pace for the exhausted monk.

--------------------------------------------

The monk and Immortal Stool greeted each other and left each other just as quickly. "Goodbye, Immortal Stool. I hope to see you someday soon," said Poropo as the Immortal Stool dispersed into light which was followed by the monk saying, "so that I may sit upon you for ease of travel." However, the Immortal Stool would not at all be the only Immortal the monk would summon to help him travel! The next magic circle appeared immediately after the Immortal Stool disappeared, bursting forth with just as much light as before!

"I am truly being blessed with a gallery of Immortals I can call upon at any time - thank you, Iron Deity. You have blessed me more than I could have hoped for!" prayed the monk in thanks as he watched the light condense into yet another unfamiliar shape. This shape was just as unique as the other so far - multiple appendages with a main body to do various tasks. This shape condensed into something very akin to a wind chime which was obviously named the Immortal Chime!

Poropo greeted the Immortal Chime as he had the other Immortals thus far, "hello, my name is Poropo Poproporp! A pleasure to meet you and all of the other Immortals thus far!" The monk and Immortal Chime chatted a little bit about the other Immortals and what they were capable of. The monk loved the idea of having so many summons to call upon at a moment's notice, especially when the demand for his head was becoming increasingly higher with each passing day! Poropo could barely get by without magic spells up until now, but this many summons was really so many he did not know to do with!

--------------------------------------------

The final magic circle appeared as the Immortal Chime dismissed itself from the monk's plane of existence. This new shape was surprisingly familiar to the Immortal Curtain and the Immortal Gate - a somewhat square or rectangular shape, but the resulting Immortal would be much too different to be related to either the Immortal Gate or Immortal Curtain. "Hello, my name is Poropo - is your name the Immortal Carpet? I can tell you are special." The monk's odd choice of words seemed to startle the Immortal Carpet - indeed, the Immortal Carpet, similarly to the Immortal Stool, was meant to be sat or stood upon by Poropo, but the monk made this idea more strange than necessary.

Poropo was able to start a conversation with the Immortal Carpet, but there was a lingering tension between himself and the metallic angel - the idea of being sat upon while being called out for such a thing was uncomfortable for the Immortal Carpet. Poropo had been able to hold himself back from mentioning the specific uses for these new Immortals, but the Immortal Carpet was the push which broke the monk's silence.

"So how many 'sitting' Immortals are there? Could I perhaps meet more today? Do you get hurt when I step on you? Here, let me try so you can actually tell me truthfully," said the monk while attempting to step upon the Immortal Carpet's body. The Immortal Carpet was not comfortable being stepped upon without a clear purpose in mind. The monk would normally summon an Immortal and just use the Immortal, but this testing was strange to say the least. The Immortal Carpet decided to just leave without another word, leaving the monk alone again, "ah...perhaps I was too abrasive with the Immortal Carpet...well, more summoning to do later. I must rest after such a long day of training and talking, hah hah ha!"

Immortal Curtain, Immortal Gate, Immortal Stool, Immortal Chime, and Immortal Carpet trained.
