PouchErebus exited the prison blowing the entire motherfucker down, he snags his gear on his way out of the building and makes clear to his intentions in discussing the attack with Odin. Letting his guild master know of bounty hunting runs knights as tough as Jove will entice the rest of the guild to band closer together, at least to Erebus, that is for the best place to leave his faith.
In allies as he grows his arsenal of magic, since taking another spell, Erebus has woken with more knowledge of his magic, he could feel the water in the region. He was learning his keep.
