PouchJoshua made his way down the street that was connected to the detective shop. He had heard of this detective during his time at the syndicate. He smiled as he made his way down the street. He nodded his head as he passed by a pair of geisha.
"Ladies"
They giggled and hurried away as he arrived at the detectives office. He knocked, but finding no answer yet an unlocked door, he opened it and stepped inside. The place was in general organized, but he could smell the dust in the front areas. He made his way to the back, and finding the detective asleep he couldn't help but smile.
"Detective Weirdlock?" The man stirred and soon woke up. He smiled seeing joshua.
"You must be Joshua." The two began to talk, spending a little time with introductions and simple small talk. Soon after Weirdlock went to make more coffee and other things. Joshua didn't mind organizing. It was a skill he learned from serving in the church. He started with the papers and got them organized as best he could without prying into them.
He lifted the papers and placed them away properly, getting the desk cleaned first. He even pushed the chair in. From there he picked up any garbage paper balls or snack wrappers and he would get them all cleaned up and thrown away. He picked up the pale and carried it out to be properly emptied before returning with an empty pale.
After getting that done, Joshua grabbed the broom and got to sweeping. He made sure to get under the table, under the main desk, and he even made sure to get the corners too. After putting the broom back, he found himself in a newly cleaned and organized room. He sat down to look at his handiwork, only to end up falling asleep as he closed his eyes for a moment.
Shortly after, he awoke as Weirdlock laughed. He had an extra cup of coffee and handed it to Joshua. He smiled and took it as Weirdlock sat down and they talked about a few things. However, joshua couldn't help and he asked about the notes he had seen. They discussed it at length, Joshua was a bounty hunter after all, a non official lawman just like the Detective was.
The two spend a few hours going over the notes and bouncing ideas back and forth. Soon the morning sun was peaking through the windows as Joshua was told of a new job he'd be invited too. Though Weirdlock wasn't sure what it would be, just that Joshua would be much appreciated by Weirdlock.
Joshua was paid and given Weirdlocks personal contact information. He nodded and left the office before making his way to deposit his money and then head to get some proper sleep. He yawned as he made his way there, unknown to him a small figure was watching him, the same imp that Tomoe had told him about. The same imp that had been spying on Joshua since he arrived in the land of Fiore.
