Don’t ask me why, but somehow the entire Marigold situation still hadn’t come to an end yet for Rania. Poor Rania! A lot of changes were happening in her life and because of this she needed the familiar surroundings to feel at ease, both emotionally and mentally. It was fine though, she could push back her travels for just a few more days, it wouldn’t really matter. And as long as there were ways to make money in Marigold, it wouldn’t really be an issue either. The young woman was inclined to travel somewhere more interesting and even though she was way too kind to admit it, she was even growing a bit tired of the small town and the freaking theatre that kept needing reconstruction over and over again. Like, seriously?! How much possible assistance could she provide? They had to fix themselves eventually!

But of course, the young Paladin reminded herself that this wasn’t their fault and that they had gone through something extremely traumatic. Something so terrible that it took the entire country over a year to recover from it. And from all she knew, there was probably already the next catastrophe waiting around the corner. But whatever, for now Rania had to focus on herself and the people surrounding her. What could she do with her freetime? Well, more money was always good for once. The woman was spending everything she had earned on good. Much to her delight, a few new merchants had entered town and they were bringing some seriously interesting goods with them. Rania had been paying more attention to the type of items that were being sold, because now as a proper wizard they held special interest. It wasn’t just that though, but the fact that something crazy had happened to the young woman. She had met a man named Jan Ren, who was apparently a wizard from Sin, although she’d never asked what type of magic he actually used. Anyways, he was a wizard and he was part of a wizard guild, Blue Pegasus.

Now, Rania had played with the thought of joining a guild for many weeks now, and if we are being honest months even. There was always the possibility of something like that happening considering that she was in fact a wizard herself, but to be frank Rania wasn’t very experienced when it came to these type of things. Sure, she was aware of guilds and their existence but she didn’t know how to go about joining one. Luckily Jan Ren had been of help in that regard. He had offered to recruit her and done so immediately and everything had happened over a glass of wine. It was crazy how simple it was really, but she was really grateful for the opportunity to find new people to meet and befriend and, of course, most importantly: to find a way to showcase her magic better. Rania wanted to use her magic for greater purposes, but in order to heal people she needed..people to heal. Well, wizards were known for getting into fights during missions and what better way to actually help out and make a change than to assist those who were doing good?!

It was a flawless plan, really, and Rania was rather proud of coming up with it. Everything had fallen into place so smoothly and while she was on her way to the Marigold theatre, the Paladin thought about everything and how she wanted to tackle her new life as a guild member. Of course there were rules she had to abide, but that was fine with the woman. She was a lawful person and usually never did anything illegal, unless there was a really good reason for it. In spite of that, Blue Pegasus being a good guild matched rather well with her ideals and whatnot and she really liked the idea of being a part of something so big and good and impactful. There were many people she still had to meet as well, but for now she was still in Marigold helping out at the theatre.

There wasn’t anything new to do honestly, just the usual stuff. The last time Rania had been here, she had ordered a few new items to be used. New bricks and woods and also some point to decorate the stage. Also some fabrics for the chairs and the curtains and it seemed that everything had arrived already. Whoever was working at that fabric was really fast, she had to give them that. Rania intended on doing the usual today, for the same amount of money she always earned. 50,000 Jewels for one day of work. It was only a few hours honestly, so she could bear with it. It wasn’t enough money for a fancy new item, but she had to start somewhere. Rania had only recently purchased a new ring, that made her feel more sturdy than ever. It was definitely magically enchanted, which was a good thing because she needed that. Rania was trying to become stronger, but since she focused on healing others she would have to be able to withstand pain at least a little bit.

Rania went around and started helping out. For now, she was helping to cut the curtains and sew them into the right stage. They needed many hands for that, because these were the big curtains that went over the stage and opened and closed at the beginning and the end of each play. They had chose a beautiful red colour with golden ornaments. It was classic, but it fit very well. Rania thought this choice was tasteful and beautiful and she helped to sew some ornaments on while the other workers also did their part. Rania wasn’t much of a seamstress, but she had learned enough during her years in Desierto, or rather: her early life, that she knew how to do this. The results were good and and the end of the day she was paid the full 50,000 Jewels she expected.
