Zane sat on a beach located at a small inlet in the island. It was peaceful here, with the sand quite pleasant to sit on and the waves making a relaxing noise. Zane had rolled the legs of his pants up slightly to allow for the water to pass by his feet and ankles, his calves and under being partially submerged in the refreshing water. The rest of his body seemed to be safe from the sea, though Zane wouldn't quite mind if it hit him. He was able to relax for a bit right now, even if just a little. Taking a deep sigh, Zane closed his eyes and put his hands behind his head. This entire thing had been crazy.

Seriously though, Zane had been through a lot of weird shit, but this was pretty up there. This was all going on for, well, seemingly no reason. It was enough to stress even someone like Zane out. He needed to find a way to relax like this, or the stress would most likely overpower him. That would most likely lead to death. Death wasn't good - or at least that was what they taught in the school back home - so Zane was making extra care to avoid it.

"Ahh, if only the teachers from back then could see me now... I knew my jigsaw puzzle abilities would save me someday." Opening his eyes and sitting up, Zane looked forward. "Oh, I'm talking to myself again... I guess it makes sense considering the place I'm in." shrugging it off, Zane went back to his previous position, closing his eyes once more. "This little spot is nice, though. Probably the best place on the island. Feels like a dream come true... aside from the part where a blonde beauty pops out of nowhere and wants to talk to me, that is."

The blazing sun was grazing against her flawless yet fair skin. Her lilac eyes gazed up at the sky with her hand over her eyes to have a decent watch of up there. This island felt fake, was the sky also fake? All this death was normal to her with how she lived her life in the past. She was wearing her casual rags of a white crop-top shirt and her blue shorts. The beach was once again her friend as she walked alongside it. Humming, she sang a song that was melodic and enchanting. Her blonde hair flowed back from the wind's current as she walked forward. She expected mostly silence but didn't expect to meet a new soul here so soon. Her lilac moon's anxiously gazed at the blonde-haired boy who was somewhat far, but close enough to chat and see each other. Kurisa lost track of time. Was he an enemy?

The silence was soon interrupted by humming. The tune caused one of Zane's eyes to open, looking towards the direction the music came from. At first casual about the sound, as soon as Zane began to process just what he was seeing he became much more aware. He instantly sat up in an attempt to look better. Or, wait... would he look better if it he was still laying down? Would it give him that 'I don't care' vibe that some people like? It seemed it was too late, though. He had no time to change now.

Why was Zane doing all of this, one might ask? Like a fair number of his wishes, it seems that fate itself had placed what Zane wanted right in his path. The woman was quite stunning. Zane had been to many areas of Fiore, all where he would meet and gaze at many different women. The one in front of him was certainly up there. Trying to clear his throat for a minute in attempt to sound more manly, Zane's voice remained mostly unchanged afterwards as he spoke, waving slightly towards the lady who had been on the same beach as him. "Yo, didn't expect to see anyone else around here. Especially not a lady as beautiful as you." Zane paused for a minute. Was that line too corny...? Wait, should he even be caring about that kind of stuff on an island like this anyways? Trying to tone it down a bit, Zane followed up with something of a more casual tone. "So, how's it going?"

Her eyes still studied him anxiously, standing there like a stone till he finally spoke. He seemed rather nice. A little flirtatious, but men usually are towards women of all kinds. She gave a welcoming small smile as she waved. Her left arm under her bosoms as the right elbow against her side boob. A simple wave from the right was in order as she then let her arms dangled against her side. Slowly, Kurisa approached the man as she still was not sure if he was an enemy or an ally. Even if one was on your team, it didn't mean they weren't your enemy too.

"Well, aren't we being coquettish, or maybe you're just being inviting." She made a poker face as one could not tell if she was being serious or not. Nonetheless, she went to sit about five feet away from him. "If you don't mind. I'll be sitting here. Walking and doing all those games are a little tiring.". Softly she sighed. "Not like I'm not used to watching death, but every day can be... exhausting.". She wondered about how he was feeling about it. "What about yourself?".

Chuckling a bit at the woman's comment on Zane's somewhat flirtatious nature, he responded. "Both, really. I suppose you can't help but want to take a chance at every pretty lady you can find when you're on an island where you could very well die the next day, right?" It was true, really. While Zane was usually the type to make some scheme to get some girl to like him, in this case he was more willing to do so than usual. He would at least want to try and spend the potential last days of his life without any regrets.

The mood got a bit darker at the woman's comments, but Zane still tried to keep a lighter tone about it, mostly due to he himself wishing not to think so deeply on it. "You're completely right... it's tiring as hell. But I can't give up, either. Or else, well... you know what that means." Sighing, Zane reclined a bit, putting hands behind his back and leaning on them a bit. He didn't like thinking about these things on this relaxing beach. "Of course, those things have been weighing on my mind a little bit too much lately. While I'm on this beach, I feel like I can relax. So let's not think about that. Let's be, what did you say..." Trying to recall the uncommon word the woman used, Zane quickly remembered and smiled her way. "...coquettish, shall we?"

He seemed to want to get things out of his mind so the subject of death and what has been going on should be avoided. Her fingers twined with her own hair as she played with each strand. Her eyes cornered to look at him and then the sunset as she wondered some simple things. "Alright question game first then; what's your name?" She soothingly questioned with her breathy accent. She licked her dry plump lips while waiting. Once he answered - if he answered then she too will answer. If it was a fake name, it will remind her of Odin. She remembered on how he lied to her about his real name till later on. Just thinking about him felt disheartening making her lips curve into sadness.

Questions, huh? Zane supposed that was one way to get a conversation going. "Sure, my name's Zane. Well, Christian Zane to be exact. I almost never get called Christian though, so I sometimes forget that's my first name." He chuckled a bit, only now realizing that fact. Even in his head he called himself Zane... it was as though his first name had been scrubbed off him almost entirely. Trying not to think too long on the possible implications of the fact that he was able to nearly forget his own name, Zane quickly switched it up, gesturing towards the lady in front of him. "And how about you? I'm sure you must have a beautiful name. Certainly more beautiful than Zane or Christian, anyways." He asked, chuckling a bit to himself. What was his mother thinking, truly...? Well, he supposed his name wasn't too bad in the end of it all. Zane leaned his entire body back, his arms going back behind his head as he laid on the sand. His eyes were still as focused on the woman as they were before, though. The sun wasn't shining in their direction, luckily. Another thing to be thankful about this beach for.

She sat there hunched over her knees as she started to embrace them. Her head turned to look at Zane as he started to tell her things. He started to ramble on more than he had to when it came to answering things, but she did not mind. A part of her even enjoyed it. This island was about the game of life and death so just them enjoying the time they had was good enough. "My name is Kurisa. Some can call me Kuri, Ari - it doesn't matter." She too was going to ramble more than she had to, but this was nice was it not?

"My name is rather indifferent. Has a history."
She tried to now think of a new question. Her eyes wandered else where as she then wanted to know, "Do you have a question?". It was good to know what sort of questions he had on his mind.

"Hmm... Kurisa's a nice name. I suppose I was right about it in the end, huh?" Smiling to himself, Zane stretched out his arms a bit more. It was his turn to pick a question, wasn't it? To tell the truth, Zane really wasn't sure what to ask here. He needed a moment to think of something. Humming to himself for a little bit, an idea finally popped into Zane's head. He more attentively faced Kurisa, asking her the question he had quickly brainstormed. "Here's one for you. What would you say are the best thing about you and the worst thing about you?" It was technically two questions, but Zane hoped that woman wouldn't mind that fact. Zane had thought to ask this as it would give him some more insight into Kurisa's personality. Did that all really matter too much in the end, though? It was hard to tell for certain, but Zane didn't want to think about it too hard for now. He was just on a beach with a pretty lady... he had to try his best to ignore all the death. Just for a little bit.

The question that she hated the most, more than favorite color... Describing herself was a weakness of hers. She put her right hand on the back of her own neck, squeezing it a little. To describe herself was to write a whole novel to explain how what and why. "Well..." She started out as she looked away from the blonde man. "Very complex." She didn't want to say how she wasn't just one person. She was many, three to be exact. They weren't even personalities, they were people in one body. Did it sound crazy right? It was crazy to the sane at least. "Only an insane person would understand without looking at me strangely." She was indecisive about what to say.

"Best things? I suppose I like listening to people and I wish to give people homes that have none. Worse things...?" Her eyes went cold as she lowered her gaze to look at the sand. "That belongs in the closet..." She coldly spoke. Her voice wasn't so sweet anymore as she looked back at Zane with icy purple eyes.
