He could still feel the noose around his neck as he lightly taps the leftover reddish marks, still slightly painful. However, he was still doubtful of the current events' existence, whether they are real or not, but Masami still kept his mouth shut while peeking through the woods. He didn't like to fish, and everyone else seem to be looking for fruits already, so hunting for meat seems to be the only way because apparently, Masami knows how to hunt... at least, based on his stored knowledge from a lot of years before.

Ring : After the whole ordeal with the noose and the puzzle, Kaiser was somehow back on an island—unsure if it was the same as the previous one—in a less life-threatening situation. She didn’t know anyone here, but she was still somewhat dazed from last night’s event as well as hunger after having not eaten for such a long time. She needed to find something to sustain herself, and there were a lot of fruit trees around here, so she started searching for some fruits that she thought would give her the nutrition she needed. It was certainly daytime, though she couldn’t tell what day it was. Whether it was a nightmare or an illusion, she couldn’t tell, but she could have sworn she witnessed her guildmate get hanged to death. During the madness, she wasn’t able to focus on anything else, but when her puzzle was solved, and the noose loosened completely, she fell to the sand, got a face full of it knocked up from her fall and almost choked to death on sand. Through her blurred vision, she may or may not have seen Venus wriggling in midair with a noose around her neck just like hers, her flesh turning an unhealthy color and eventually going completely still.

Thoroughly forgetting the events of yesterday, Jan Ren wondered why there were red marks around his neck. Perhaps waking up to a traumatic experience caused him to forget what happened exactly? No matter, he would be fine if he just tried. Still not too sure what this island is or where, his body soon caught up and woke up with him. Stomach growling as he saw several others looking around in the jungle-like fields presented. He wasn't really much of a good survivor, but could at least try. Before he or any others at this island could eat anything, they needed spices. Something to even begin cooking with. In other words, herbs! While the logic might be flawed in some way, it would make for a good foundation, if anything.

Then again, because of the previous challenge, it seems like this game is one of those "last man standing" scenes, and maybe they'll even kill each other later on. The thought troubled Masami, spotting a woman from a few corners but hesitated and left her alone. It must be better to look for other things to eat, this meat really doesn't look so delicate. Masami would imitate what he thought the woman was doing and look for some fruits, too, and maybe hope that they aren't poisonous... that would be bad. Red berries are the ones to avoid, right? No more daphne berries.
