Collateral Damage [Quest | Levi] Empty Wed Jan 16, 2019 3:58 pm

Levi Mahlet †
Levi awoke to a beautiful sight. It wasn’t just the master bedroom glistening in the sunlight that penetrated through the large windows that showed off the view of Dahlia Town, the view being a stark contrast against that of everything that was inside the mansion and the master bedroom. More than anything else, it was the view of the woman who lay in the bed beside her, the nude body of the lovely Elaine, her silver hair glistening with the sunlight streaming off of it, similar to that of platinum than that of simply silver. It was lovely, and as Levi figured that it would have been, the woman who slept beside her was an animal, insatiable, and arguably one of the best sexual encounters that Levi had had in any recent memory. She did enjoy the bartender in the bar in Dahlia Town, she also had her fun with the hand maiden that was working for Elaine, but they did not compare to Elaine. Levi simply admired the woman as she slept, no doubt exhausted form that of the passionate love making that the two had made. It was even better given the circumstances that precededed the two of them finaly embracing, the death of Elaine’s useless husband, a drunken fool who had managed to establish himself as a powerful and successful businessman, only to suffer disaster at the death of his first wife, his true love of his life, who Levi had no doubt reason to believe was at the hands of Elaine in some capacity or another, which resulted in the man drinking himself in despair. Levi reasoned that there was no love between the two of them, though there might have been some, at least for the beginning, but it became very quickly apparent that it was not one to last, and as Henry sought to protect his investments, to defend his legacy and his value from the rest of the world, namely that of his current wife Elaine, she conspired to take it all away from him. It all started with Levi stetting the stage by kidnapping her step son, Henry’s son, who remained locked away in a safe area that left as far as Levi was concerned, had not been disturbed or found, which was key. His appareance might have complicated matters heavily, but for people to believe that he simply ran away, as the story was told, it would mean that Elaine would run everything, Henry’s empire, alone. If he were to return, he stood the chance to potentially seize control, as he was the one who had been given the rights to Henry’s estate, but his disappearance meant that Elaine was to run everything. For the son to return, it put everything in jeopardy, and Elaine had no interest in having him surface again. Levi reasoned that she would have allowed him to starve, and that just made her want to tear off those sheets and make love to the woman again.

Levi looked around, seeing what was there, allowing for her new lover to take a rest and get her strength back before they resumed round 2, or was it round 15? At this point she had no idea or how long they had made love, though they knew that there was no shortage of passion and excitement between the two of them, that she was fairly certain that by the time that they had finally fallen asleep, it was already morning. Though Levi awoke early enough to feel refreshed and ready for me, she wondered if the beauty beside her was at the same caliber in terms of stamina. Levi had an insatiable drive for sex, and she made that apparent, but this woman, to have been so long deprived of anything meaningful or enjoyable as what Levi had given her, it was hard to believe that she would have been ready for more immediately. Levi figured to explore more of the moansion, to enjoy a bit of what was left over from the fancy party the night before. After the death of Henry, the ceremonies ended abruptly, with everyone including the servants leaving. It left for Levi and Elaine a chance to hide and remove any sort of evidence which they did before having some fun for themselves, but there was still a great deal of campagine, of liquor, and other expensive and tasty food that was left over from the night before, and Levi was so ready for the chance to just dine in. Looking through what was there, there were meats, shrimp, expensive imports from throughout the area, no doubt an example of the sort of wealth that Henry had that Elaine now had all for herself. And the sort of wealth that Levi was going to take full advantage of for as long as she reasonably could have. And with a lifestyle like this, with food and drink like this, better than probably anything that she might have experienced anywhere else in this piss poor country, it was hard to imagine that this was going to be a sort of lifestyle that she was at all interested in passing up on. So much food, and so little time for her to enjoy it, as she found herself as much torn between the food as she did to go back and have some fun with the woman who for all Levi knew was still asleep up stairs. Levi was almost inclined to go ahead and wake her up for a chance to have some of this food, as no doubt there was a duration in which this food was no longer as fresh or good as it might have been. Even for how long they had been left out, a couple of hours at this point, there was likely some that wasn’t as fresh now as it might have been, but that did not take away from how good it was. Elaine deserved to have some too.

By the time she had prepared what would be her plate, she heard a sound from upstairs, one that resembled not a woman waking up from bed, but rather feet gently stepping down the staircase just beside them. Levi looked up with delight to see Elaine coming down to the main area with a beautiful nightgown on that was just enough of a modest vestment to hide her beautiful nude body while all the while highlighting just how gorgeous she was, and reminding Levi how good it was that she had made this decision to assist her rather than not. Whatever questions she might have had when she first arrived in Dahlia, the fact that she had come to encounter this woman made it all the worthwhile, erasing away any sort of doubt or question that she might have had as far as being here. Elaine made her way towards Levi, planting a passionate kiss upon her lips, almost wanting Levi to just scatter away al of the food on the table so that they might have had some fun right there, but the value of it, the quality of it, even she could appreciate the fact that to do that, for as justified as she would be as far in clearing it, it would be a great tragedy for both her and Elaine to waste all of it. Showing restraint, Levi siply returned the kiss, then surprising her new lover by putting a piece fo shrimp between her lips, to which garnered a delightful giggle from the new widow. The two then sat down and went ahead and began to discuss their future, now that Elaine was set to become one of the most powerful and influential people in Dhalia Town for years to come, and her empire was only destined to grow even larger, no doubt thanks to the influence that Levi would be able to carry out, using the empire that her mother established in Bosco to further bolster and reinforce this new alliance. It would not be long until the name Latimer was known not just within Dahlia Town, but all throughout Fiore, and eventually throughout the entire world. At least, that would be what would happen if things were to go all Elaine’s way, but there was one complication that she regretted bringing up, but felt it was appropriate and important that it was settled. What was Elaine going to go ahead and do with her step son, the rightful heir to her future empire, the one person who stood in the way of everything for Elaine and Levi. Elaine simply smiled at the prospect of her step son being a problem. The fact of the matter was she had prepared for all of this, and the key point was going to be Levi finsihign the job that she started, a job she at this point had come to realize and know that she would be all for carrying it out, especially after last night.

Levi figured that this would have been easy enough, after finally having left the beautiful woman whom she had spent the last night with, and then subseuqnetly had a bit of fun with after the two of them enjoyed a lovely breakfast. It was a great way to go out and take of her business, as nothing was better than food, sex, and then murder, typically in that order. Or any assemblement of that order. It didn’t matter as much to her, as long as she was having some fun, and with great food, great sex, and some great murder, there was no way that the day couldn’t go any better. But she was also aware of the reisk that stood with her going out to kill this kid. From what she had been told by Elaine, Henry had made a last ditch effort to find his kid after realizing he was being left with almost no option outside of surrending to his wife. He had reached out to his friend, a former member of the Rune Knights based in Era, a place that was located in Fiore that was regarded and known for having the best Rune Knights, far better than anything in which Dhalia could have ever produced or demonstrated, especially given by the interactions she had had at this point with some of the Rune Knights, even having taken one of them to bed in her brief time in the city. This was a case of just having to get through this, but apparently this man was heading to Dahlia with his own unit, expected to bring down hell and fury in order to find this child, and it was going to make things a bit more challenging as far as easily eliminating the child, but she had dealt with similar scenarios in Bosco before, so this would not be something new. Nothing of this was new to her, and whether or not it meant that she was going to have to kill a few Rune Knights, it isn’t as though the people of this city would care especially if it meant that their businesses and vices would be left intact. And in the end, if she did have to kill a few Rune Knights, it wouldn’t matter, so long as the kid dies. That was the main thing that this was about, making sure that that child would not be able to challenge his step mother and Levi’s new lover for what she deserved. Especially after what she had come to see out of this woman, the degree to which she was willing to go to make sure that she had everything that she wanted, and with what she had seen up to this point, having removed and challenged and coming out victorious against everyone up to this point, there was nothing to make her believe that Elaine wasn’t going to end up coming out of this as the sole victor, with Levi at her side.

Dahlia was much more quiet than what she was used to at this point, no doubt at least to a degree due to the interference of the Rune Knights, if they had arrived. Levi had not been very invested in the news around town, even in spite of her time at the areas inw hcih people would typically flock to find out what was going on with everything, the bars. She had been there for so long at first but had found herself spending more and more time with Elaine that they ahd been secondary. She though about her friend and on and off lover with the bartender and figured it would be a fun little time that the two of them could have with Elaine. Once verything was all said and done, she would certainly have to present the option, as no doubt she would love that and it did not seem as though it would make much work for Elaine to see that it would be so much more fun with another woman in the picture. But, that would be for when this was all over and done with, once the annoying stupid little kid was out of the picture. Then, they would be able to have some fun, some fun that the child was neither old enough to understand, nor would ever get a chance to enjoy for himself. She almost felt bad for the child, just knowing how much of the world he was going to be without, how much he will never get a chance to witness for himself, but it wasn’t as though she really cared. There had been no shortage of children who at one point or another she had allowed to die, whether it were by her hand or by indirectly, but it was always far more fun when it was that she was the one to kill the child, just like with this. It would be a great chance for her to take out some of her frustrations, as with the exception of the foolish servant who Elaine had sent to his death, she had not yet had a chance to avenge or take out her frustrations on anyone. This child, though one would have argued that he perhaps deserved to earn a more honest and genuine death than anything else, it was clear that she had no interest in granting that to him. She was going to make this child suffer, if for no other reason than for the sake of it. It would be something that was going to be in a sense, pharapetuic for her, at least as far as she was concerned. Many would call that crazy, and they would no doubt have a strong case, especially in the case of Levi but she was not worried about that. She wasn’t worried about what people might think of her. She was long beyond that. Beyond thinking what people might have thought about her, as only she mattered.

It did not take long for her to reach where the child was located, still in the same place that Levi had left him, and judging by his appearance, it was very clear that he was coming closer and closer towards death with each passing day. He could have been left there for another few days and no doubt he would have starved. He was essentially nothing more than skin and bones, like that of the poor people who she had seen starve in Bosco so often, the same people who she would have had great fun in throwing rocks at. She almost felt like reliving her past years by throwing something at the child, and if she were lucky it would have been a chance for her to go ahead and kill the boy right here and there, but the location was far from ideal, and if there was one thing she knew, it was that the spot of death was important. Though she had little reason to believe that the Rune Knights were anything special, if there was any sort of truth behind how good this Rune Knight captain that Henry had contacted, he would have known that he was not killed wherever he was, but instead was simply dumped. It would mean the serarch would continue and there stood a chance then that the investigation would end up leading them back to Elaine, something that she could not afford to risk and let happen. Instead, she had to make sure that the child died elsewhere. It would have bene easy to believe that a child that was lost in a city like this would be as malnourished as what sate he was in now, though it would have been harder to justify a blood wound with a lack of blood near the body. Saying not a word, Levi took the child by his hair, pulling him out of the small shack he was locked in and began to look for a place that would have worked out. A great place would have been the alleyway in which she had initlaly kidnaped the boy, as it was dirty and disgusting enough to make it believe that the child was killed by some sort of old man or drunk that might been there. Grabbing the child, she departed, going through the same route in which she had first taken, it being as clear and apparent as the day when she had grabbed the boy, albeit with a bit more pressure added to her than last time. Perhaps it was the fact that the Rune Knights were looking for him, looking for her as well, and with the streets as quiet and dead as it seemed to have been, it appeared that she would not have much time, only a short bit of time to go ahead and kill the child as quickly and quiet as possible before someone might have noticed, or worst case, would see the actual crime.

Having led the child to the alleyway, Levi was about ready to go ahead and kill the child before she heard what sounded like a siren, a sort of alarm as to notify something and someone. It was the worst thing that she could have had happen, nor could she have believed that she was caught. She had to wonder just how it was that they had found her, but it was only a matter of seconds before it appeared that there were a plentiful amount of rune knights surrounding the two of them, Levi and the child. They sought to close in on them, weapons at the ready, so Levi did the best thing that she could have possibly done, throwing the child into the line of fire. Between their momentum and the suddenness of her having thrown the child into the wolves in the form of the pursuing Rune Knights, there was no way for the deployed garrison to stop themselves and much to the shock and dismay of everyone who was there with the exception of Levi, they could not believe that the boy was impaled by numerous spears, between his poor condition and the impact of them resulting in him dying nearly immediately. It was such a scenario that Levi could not help but laugh out at the boy’s expense, causing the largest of the Rune knights, the one that she had to believe was the captain that Henry had hired, to rush towards Levi. Levi welcomed the challenge, running away while she at the same time knowing that she was going to be able to outmaneuver this man. He might have been a veteran Rune Knight, but that was the extent to what he had as far as an advantage extended towards. Levi was more certain and confident in her abilities than this man was, especially given that of what she knew of law enforcement, whether it was the Rune Knights or the enforcement that was used in Bosco, they had the advantage of knowing how to deal with those who operated under their same set of standards. But Levi was not someone who operated on their set of standards. She operated by her own. She led the man into what at least appeared to be an empty alleyway, at first one that might have made one believe that they were captured, but it was this man who was trapped, not her. The man rushed towards her, hoping to catch her off guard, but she was ready for that already, having already bitten her finger and causing a layer of darkish ice to appear on the ground beneath the man. Whether he had been aware of it or not, it did not matter as within an instant it appeared that there had been a layer of black flame to appear over his legs, which did not help as Levi had blown the man a kiss, causing a fog to him as she slashed him repeatedly with a broken piece of glass or metal, something sharp enough to cause serious damage.

The man perhaps did not realize what it was at first that Levi was using, but only after the fog began to fade slightly did he perhaps realize that she was using what appeared to have been a vicious cloud of smoldering ash which seemed to completely and utterly cover the area in which the man was now occupied within, giving no room or capability for him to see or do anything but feel the agonizing burn that took place throughout his body. He sought to fight through the cloud, pushing way towards Levi who had begun to back up, creating more of a distance faster than what the man could have done to close in on her, but it were not enough for him to realize that in his singular effort to try to reach her that she had done something else, swiping her fingers outward, creating a spark of flame that obliterated everything that stood directly ahead of her, including much of this man, having been caught in a zealous effort to apprehend and sotp Levi. He was blown back as a result and his body agonized with burns that now covered much of his body, the worst only being that the cloud of smoldering ash remain where his body had been thorwn back towards. He looked to get up, only to notice the small trail of flames coming towards him, capping off with another small explosion, right in the face of this man as he had knelt down to see just what it was. His screams and cries were audible just barely over that of the explosive blast, and in his distress he failed to see Levi bite down upon her finger, pointing at the man or the smoldering fire beginning to spread about and encapsulate the man just beneath him as the ground burned alive with a pillar of flame that rushed at him, charring him within his armor, leaving him little more than a man that so desperately at this point sought the relief that would have come with death. Levi would do just that, having now seen the man, struggling in all of his potential effort and might to rid himself of the armor that slowly cooked him alive, taking a piece of glass in which she had found and looking carefully at the man’s charred flesh, hoping to know exactly just where to slice. Keening her focus, she lunged forward, impaling the man’s neck with the piece of glass, it cutting right it from point to point, severing all majority aotories in the process. Though he cried out for a moment, soon he said nothing as he slipped into death. A man who had put up a great fight against Levi, no doubt considering the circumstances, but a fight that nonetheless, he was destined to lose. And to make things better, the boy was dead, and there was nothing that would stop Elaine from taking over the empire that Levi helped to create.
