Nanuq was cold, colder than Ianthe was used to and she did not like it one bit. She promised herself that she wouldn’t stay in this town for very long, but who knew what was gonna happen.   Ianthe’s morning were like any other even in the cold weather of Nanuq Town. It took her longer than usual to get out of bed and that was because the warmth of five blankets were too cozy to leave it. The room of the inn was relatively warm, but it was never warm enough for Ianthe. Shifting around in the blankets eventually Ianthe awoke but soaked in the warmth of the blankets a little longer before pushing the blankets off. The blankets fell to the ground with a noticeable thud sound, peeking over the bed she let one of her legs down to the floor in order to find her slippers and place them in a comfortable position to be slipped on. Eventually her wandering leg allowed her foot to find the slippers  and slide them over to her. The slippers were thick, rich green in color, and super cozy. When Ianthe slipped her feet inside of those slippers she was able to take on the rest of her morning which went very slowly. Heading to the shower she stayed in it for an hour, taking extra care to clean her hair as the hot water washed over her brown skin. She used a peachy scented soap which no doubt made her hungry. Once out of the shower she pulled out the clothes she brought upon arriving to Nanuq. A black turtleneck sweater, some thick tights to go under a pair of black pants, a pair of black boots, and a white and black coat with fur trim around the neck was what Ianthe would be wearing today.

The choice in dark clothes would help her stay warmer so she was told, so mostly all of the things she bought were rather dark. Once she was dressed Ianthe made it to the dining area of course and once there she placed her coat on a seat next to her. Without waiting to long a waiter came to her table, he was tall and had short brown hair and bright blue eyes, almost like looking into the sky. “ Good Morning, What can I get for you this morning? “ His voice was soothing and calm, it made Ianthe feel relaxed enough to order anything. “ Um, I’m new here so I’ll take whatever you recommend, the soup of the day, and some of these salmon cakes, oh and some water please. “ The man nodded as we jotted down the order and quickly made his way back to the kitchen. The inn was a real nice place in how it was decorated and even thought it was a cold area Ianthe could appreciate the work put into the buildings. It didn’t take long for the waiter to come back and all the food be placed in front of her. To say she was starving was an understatement as she dug into it all, nearly burning her mouth on the soup for her greed.

When she was done she quickly paid for her meal and placed her coat on, heading out for a day of work. The local request board was a little empty but she soon found some good work. It seemed someone needed some cleaning services down and Ianthe was all too happy to help. Making her way to the healing huts, Ianthe quickly grabbed a snack on her way there, picking up a warm pork bun and devouring before entering the huts. It wasn’t long before someone approached her and it was an even shorter amount of time before she was told what needed to be done. “ Come, off with your coat now and put these gloves on. They will keep your hands dry and clean while you are cleaning the healing pools and potion pots. The pools are filthy so I suggest you clean them first as we need them for patients. Thank you in advance for your help, these past few days have been the most busy in these huts thanks to that damned snowbeak snake. It’s utterly ridiculous how many people can get hurt by that thing. Anyway off you go dear. “ Ianthe was handed some cleaning tools and items and soon was pushed into the direction of the pools. Setting the items down she first drained each pool and poured cleaning solution in each one, making sure the powder caked up so that it could have the time to soak into the pools. She waited five minutes before working on the first pool. Pulling out a scrub brush and scrubbing away the dirt, adding a liquid cleaner every now and then to pull out the powder cleaner. Once the pool was nice and clean she sprayed it down with a disinfectant that took a few minutes to dry. While it did dry she went on to the next pool to restart the process. She did this with each pool making sure to take out any debri that was too large to go down the drain or that would clog up the drains. Ianthe ended up cleaning ten pools in total and once she was done she moved onto the potion pots. Collecting the pots that were strewn all around, Ianthe placed them into a basket before moving to a large sink. Filling the sink up with hot water she made sure to add the liquid cleaner while pouring the powder cleaner in the bottles. Once the sink was filled with water she set all the dirty potion pots into the water for a ten minute soak. Once that was done she pulled each one out and cleaned them with soap and a clean wash rage, making sure to get all the previous cleaner out and rinsing them off. Setting them on a rack to dry, she returned the clean potion pots to Kaita and was thanked heavily for her work. Once she was paid Kaita invited Ianthe to come back so that she can learn first hand the way of the healer.
