The young Magic Council Rune Knight Salem had become quite fond of the chasing of the Olmec’s that he had been doing that he felt to be, quite fun and entertaining none the least. Always Considering the fact that it was allowing for Salem to communicate with all different people of Fiora, really opening the Rune Knights eyes. As this allowed for him to not only see other mages and Rune Knights, but also the nobles and civilians of the land as he traveled through Fiora. The gossip of these all mighty and powerful Olmec’s and other magic structures starting to be the rage all around Fiora, with the gossip of the latest Olmec tending to be the trending topic in almost every single bar and tavern that Salem seem to find himself in along his journeys from the mountains of Sieghart.

Sitting in the inn Salem felt slightly nervous and queasy, and unable to muster up the strength to get himself up from the table he set rested at. This being due to the fact that the young Rune Knight knew that the town he found himself a few miles outside of, was one that brought him many pain and sorrow. With that town being the town of Nanuq, one known for its more harsh weather and as well as the home of Salem’s boarding school. A place that his adoptive father Oda had promised him he would love,as It would help him get the basic knowledge that he needed to be able to survive this world on his own especially if he had any intention of going to the Rune Knights Oda always said. Thus being the only reason that Salem managed to find the strength in himself to stay at the school as long as he did. Having great hatred towards the town of Nanuq, Salem even found it in himself to not like the beautiful blue ice of the town.

Entering the town of Nanuq Salem would instantly feel a cold chill go through his body, tingly his insides and all to the point one would feel they had to vomit. But luckily the Magic Council Instilled that its Rune Knights had strong stomachs and did not just lose their lunch due to the most simplest of things. Thus Salem mustered everything in his body to gather the feeling under complete control and keep his pace as he moved through the town. Most of the citizens probably not noticing him or thought that the chill was just due to Salem not being use to the cold weather of the town. Something that would take most sometime to get use to, as even Salem’s body wasn’t completely use to the cold of the town as it was back in his days of school. But none the less Salem knew that this chill was not from that of him feeling the actual cold, but due to the fact that this place just brought a horrible feeling into the body and the mind of the young Knight, one he would be happy to get rid of as soon as he managed to completely exit this town.

Exiting Nanuq, Salem would soon get back control over himself having managed to travel through the town that scared him as a child. Though it was a litte rocky and touch for the young Knight, Salem was more then sure his adoptive father Oda would be proud of him. Knowing just how much Salem hated the town of Nanuq, but with the town now behind him Salem made way for his true destination. His birth town and home of the Rune Knight Head Quarters, the town of Era.
