However, unlike his lineage, Ray has dull blonde hair, which are due to his mother having the dominant genes for hair color. Ray retains the piercing gaze of his lineage as well, and the basic body structure- sharp features, with a good amount of muscle on them. Ray is more than often seen wearing a loose white cloth type underneath golden armour, fitting in with his self-appointed Emperor theme. The armour itself consists of a breastplate, a crotch protector, and a shoulder plate only on the left arm. This gives Ray maximum movement. The loose white cloth also leaves his limbs open for the same reason. Ray also wears a white cloth tied around his armour, creating a sash like structure with the cloth. Extra: Ray's eyes begin to glow while using magic, and his body is almost always statically charged due to his magic. Personality Personality: Being a cold and calculating person, Ray appears to be giving off a distinctly cold aura in the form of "anti-social" mannerisms and the possibility of having a strong form of magic,thus,usually making people feel uncomfortable around him. Ray also has a more sadistic side to him,known as "Hyperion",which is activated in battle or in tight situations,which likes to kill and destroy everything in its path. The formation of these two distinct personalities has earned Ray the status of being schizophrenic,but the truth lies in the fact that "Hyperion" is just the part that Ray keeps hidden from public,and is not a specifically different personality. Some say he's cold, some say he's uncaring, some say he's cunning. A mix of all three, Ray's true personality is left unknown to everyone but his close friends, as he is very picky whilst choosing his friends. However, there are a few sure shot things about him. Ray, while not exactly an introvert, does not believe in socializing unless it's for an intended plan. He is very perceptive, and is able to focus on things overlooked by normal people. He tends to be very cold to strangers, and almost as cold to people who do end up knowing him. He doesn't care much about anything except what's on his mind, and comes off as quite arrogant, even though that is rarely the case. He doesn't speak much, choosing to remain silent in order to observe and plan accordingly. He also never acts without a set plan, a habit set into him by his father. Although his exterior may be as tough as nails, he does have a soft interior, a fact known only to his closest friends. However, if infuriated, Ray reveals his more sadistic side, a complete incarnation of said 'evil', as he turns into a very sadistic individual who only concentrates on torturing his opponent. While known for these other things, Ray is best known for his intellect, something that stands out in his manner of conduct. While Ray isn't much for being under leadership, he will gladly follow those with a plan that makes sense, and can be carried out efficiently. The leader, in this case, will have to be a complete genius, and extremely powerful to get Ray to follow him. Ray will also follow those who he can consider as his friends, out of mutual trust. As for himself being a leader, Ray believes in winning battles and leading people through strategies, something that has been brought forth by his reliance on his intelligence in order to win. However, while battling, he seems to be uncaring, but that is just a ruse to hide his actual thought processes from enemies, as he likes to surprise them with his plans. He also tends to become very sadistic in battles, and thus his fights have always been gory, to an extent. He can be classified as a psychopath while battling, and that can be evident in the freaky grin that's always on his face when he knows he's about to hurt someone. Ray's major part of his personality is his narcissism, as he believes himself to be an all-powerful emperor of sorts, and this narcissism of his and his pride are a major factor in his decision making processes. Magic Magic Name: Lightning Magic Magic Element: Lightning Magic Description:  Lightning Magic (雷系各種魔法 Kaminari Kei Kakushu Mahō) is an Elemental Caster Magic that utilizes the element of lightning. Lightning Magic is a branch of Elemental Magic that utilizes electricity, more specifically, lightning, as a form of offense and defense. Mages who possess the ability to utilize such Magic are able to generate these elements from their bodies, and manipulate them. However, unlike other types of Elemental Magic, users of Lightning Magic are also capable of utilizing lightning from a distance, such as from the ground near them, or down from the sky. Lightning attacks work by electrocuting the opponents to various degrees, and there are spells that are said to be capable of completely paralyzing enemies, due to the extremely high voltage of the electricity employed in their use. Because of the high amounts of light produced with its use, Lightning Magic can also be utilized to blind opponents, albeit for a short amount of time. It is naturally strong against the water element. Lightning is very fast and powerful, being able to shock others and electrocute them. In addition, it is possible to blind others with the magic. It has a natural weakness to the earth element and can easily be defeated by the earth. Since Ray is a battlemage, this type of magic is used primarily for offensive spells only, and thus has 0.5x cost to offensive spells, while self-buff speed spells are 2x in cost and supplementary spells have 3x cost. History History: "Chains and whips are all I remember" As far as Ray's memory goes, he had woken up in a long container, of a make which he had no knowledge of. He had things made out of a shiny material which restricted his body on him, things which were called "chains", as he would later come to know. In the container were other beings very similar to Ray, some as tiny as him, some much bigger, and the was a bigger being behind him touching his head, and repeatedly making noises which Ray could not understand, although he remembered the sound of the phrase, which he would later understand that the man was saying "Child of God". Ray had no recollection of his life before slavery, as he was pushed into slavery at the tender age of 5. This also meant that he would grow up not knowing his parents or a life apart from slavery until his late teens. His early years were spent working on a ship, the same ship where his earliest memories were made. He knew not whether he was from the same land or not as the people he worked for or the people he worked with, as, while they were human (and that was what he was too, as he was told by one of the elders), they shared little to no features with Ray. He was always taller and stronger for his age, and his red eyes and hair were a sight within the sea of brown and black that worked on the ship. Ray did not differ between days or months or even years, as each day would be the same, filled with unending hours of manual labor, and punishments and whips rained down heavily by the overseers at their whim. The slaves, by themselves, would keep record of their own people, as they were a tight knit group of people in the same circumstances, and the elders would bring Ray a small salvaged present every year as it marked his time on this planet, as they stated. Ray would try to do the same for the other slaves, and it would be this way for a long time, until Ray turned 18. It was a stormy day, with the waves as high as the ship itself, and every collision sending the ship rocking to the side and back. All personnel and the slaves were ordering to go under the deck of the ship, and Ray, alongside with the slaves, was sitting on the wooden floor, unfazed, as such days happened to be frequent during this time of the year. However, as luck would have it, one of the personnel's kids had chosen to remain on the deck, and, just as luck would have it, that personnel had chosen Ray to go and bring the kid back, owing to his muscular stature, instead of risking his own sorry neck for his own family. Not wanting to feel the end of the whip again, Ray had gone up to the deck to bring this kid back, and just as he'd stepped foot onto the wet deck, had located the kid. Ray ran over to the kid, and pushed him towards safety, and no sooner than he'd started to make a run for it, felt the ship rock violently and found himself in the air, a massive wave, and a wooden wall, coming towards him. Ray woke up amidst a throng of people, all eyeing him curiously, but helping him up, much to his amazement. He seemed to be on something that wasn't wood, but, rather, stone. As he unsteadily got upon his feet, he could see that he was in a massive open space, bigger than he had ever seen, and there were odd structures in the distance. The people were also all different, but they were much kinder to him, and spoke his language. Ray smiled back to them, and was just about to speak, when he felt a chill go down his spine as his hands started to give off small streaks of lightning, much like he had seen in the sky during storms. His eyes widened, and then shut, as he promptly passed out again. Ray had then awoken in the care of a person capable of producing fire out of what seemed to be nothing, and that person had told him that he could do this thing known as magic, and had taught him how to control and create this lightning that he was capable of producing. That person would not reveal her name, and would always keep her face covered, much to Ray's chagrin, who was not used to acts of kindness apart from the slaves he'd shared almost all his life with. Soon it was time to step out into this new world and learn about it, but Ray had promised himself he'd find out about this woman soon. |
