Void Caverns
Explorers, thrillseekers and adventurers, beware! Ever since the catastrophe at Talaz Lagaar, strange portals have been sighted all across Ishgar. Of the brave few souls who ventured into the portals, few have returned, but those who do speak of untold dangers that nearly cost them their lives. At the same time, they tell tales of never ending riches, materials never before seen on Earthland, artifacts, energies once cast unto the Void by those desperate to seek its bounties. Survivors from Talaz Lagar warn of the dangers lurking within, how the Void lurking on the other side of the portals caused the cataclysm in their homeland. They warn that this void has a will of its own... Yet this grim warning failed to deter avid explorers from venturing into the formless dimension.
Since the arrival of the mysterious Void Dungeons various organizations have began to hire adventurers to explore these dungeons in the hope of bringing back knowledge and resources from within the dungeon. Each dungeon has its own theme and requirements in order for the group to overcome, with the higher difficulties translating into better rewards.
Event Difficulties
Lesser Dungeons:
- Each participant must do at least 3 posts and a total of 1500 words. The party must do at least 12 posts in total.
- 250,000J
- 10,000XP
- 10SP or 100MP
- 1x Loot Wheel Rolls
Greater Dungeons:
- Each participant must do at least 5 posts and a total of 3000 words. The party must do at least 20 posts in total.
- Participants must be at least B-rank.
- 500,000J
- 15,000XP
- 15SP or 150MP
- 2x Loot Wheel Rolls (You may reroll the Loot Wheel once if you're not happy with the result)
Savage Dungeons:
- Each participant must do at least 7 posts and a total of 4000 words. The party must do at least 28 posts in total.
- Participants must be at least S-rank.
- 1,000,000J
- 20,000XP
- 20SP or 200MP
- 4x Loot Wheel Rolls (You may reroll the Loot Wheel three times if you're not happy with the result)
Devastating Dungeons:
- These dungeons are run by a Dungeon Master, and as such, won't always be available. However they don't have a minimum wordcount.
- 2,000,000J
- 30,000XP
- 30SP or 300MP
- 6x Loot Wheel Rolls (You may reroll the Loot Wheel three if you're not happy with the result)
Event Conditions
- Each party must consist of three to four members.
- Users may participate in dungeons as though they were one rank higher if they're joined by a higher ranking companion, or two ranks higher if they have two higher ranking companions.
- Each party must consist of members of the same alignment. Neutral Guild or Guildless members may form parties with characters of any alignment.
- Once the party has been submitted in this topic, the users may create a topic in the location of the Dungeon.
- Different Dungeons will be posted regularly in different locations.
- Each topic related to the event must be tagged with "Void Caverns" followed by the name of the Dungeon.
- Please use the template provided below to sign up for the event. Only one person needs to fill in the template and submit the names of the other members of their team.
Event Details
- Each character may complete each Dungeon a single time.
- Each character may only participate in one Lesser, Greater or Savage dungeon at a time.
- Each character may only participate in a single Devastating Dungeon at a time.
- After completing a dungeon, the user may roll a D100 for the loot wheel.
- If the Dungeon rewards multiple rolls, this allows the player to roll again if they're not satisfied with the rewards. Only the last roll is counted.
Loot Wheel Prizes
- 1: 50% Lupin Discount Coupon
- 12-17: Lesser Sacrifice (The user may exchange either 100,000J, 5,000XP, 5 Attributes or 50 Mana for one of the other options)
- 24-29: 500,000J
- 40-42: 20,000 EXP
- 50-51: Mysterious Merchant Purchase Ticket
- 54-57: Medium Sacrifice (The user may exchange either 250,000J, 10,000XP, 10 Attributes or 100 Mana for one of the other options)
- 61-63: 1,000,000J
- 73-75: 1000 Points
- 89-90: 2 Months Storyline Cooldown Reduction Coupon
- 95-97: Greater Sacrifice (The user may exchange either 500,000J, 15,000XP, 15 Attributes or 150 Mana for one of the other options)
- 100: Mythic Custom Creation Ticket (Max: once per person, otherwise choose any prize from the wheel)
