Emil had been lazing around the guild hall as he was board and he knew that he had caused some issues with the others of the guild so he knows that he needs to watch his step as he had been dancing on some very thin ice that seems to have cracked under his feet so he needs to stay low and then the woman at the front desk called out to him and he sits up and looks at her and she points to the spot in front of her desk as she was not going to waste her beautiful face yelling across the guild hall to get him to stop being lazy and go out and start crushing some quests as it seemed that he peaked once he hit S rank as he has not been seeking quests or doing much of anything and she wondered if the glory of becoming a bit of a hero in Joya might have gone to his head and now he thinks he is too good to be wasting his time in taking on peon grunt work.

Emil got up and walked over to the desk and the woman firmly tells him that she has a request for him to go handle and she was not going to take no for an answer as she was tired of just watching him loaf around and not do anything to help the guild grow in fame or make them look good with all the damage he had done to the guild in the fight against Lumikki as well as hurting another member that she thinks she has seen the woman actively avoiding Emil as well but that was not her place to say or do anything about but she was getting him out of this guild hall and she wasn't going to play nice with him either as she was kind of sick of his attitude as of late. Emil takes the request without a complaint to the surprise of the woman as she thought he would at least tell her that she wasn't his boss but he took it then headed to his room.

Emil entered his room and he hugged both of his children and tells Indiana that they have a request to take on and the children make sad faces at him but he just smiles at them and reassures them that he will be back as fast as he can be and they perk up and he takes the children out and drops them off at the play area with other children that the guild watches and informs the staff of them needing to be taken very well care of or else. They know that his children are his pride so they quickly agree as he would probably end them if they let his children be hurt. Emil and Indiana head out of the guild and to Orchidia to take on the rat problem that they had been having and into the sewers they go as they needed to stop the rats from getting into places and if you are going to take care of an infestation you need to cut it off at the roots that were in this case a nest some where down here.

Indiana looks around and he keeps reminding Emil that they are going to have to do this with as little damage as they can manage as doing damage down here will really get the guild in trouble and Emil just pretty much just says okay repeatedly to these comments as he knows that he is still on very thin ice so he needs to stay away from fighting the other members for awhile and not doing to much collateral damage on missions for awhile as he likes being part of a guild and not a side show would be his best bet as the gods in his head argue about if they should really be down here and if this was a smart idea and that they were gonna smell like shit and other fluids and that is going to be super unattractive to woman and make him look bad to other people as if he doesn't understand how to clean himself.

Emil is completely unfazed as he is not scared to get dirty or smelly as he has other goals that he has to reach and clear up and one of those is this request so that the guild rep will stay off his case and not call him a bum or say he is the only one not pulling their weight around the guild and he has to make sure that he doesn't get stuck in that box as it might cost him good quests in the future but he was not going to let that happen as he has a lot that he needed to still gain and work on but he was needing to focus on the dangers in front of him and he finds what he can do and he will do it as he can see some rats in front of them in the tunnel. Emil goes to strike and Indiana stops him as they need to follow them and make sure that they find out where they were going or coming from and Emil begrudgingly agrees with the exceed and they followed the rats as they hurried through the tunnels back to their nest.

Emil sees the size of the nest and he is worried a bit as there are tons of rats and he was not fully expecting these kind of numbers and he was going to need to make sure that he makes attacks on this nest count and not let even one rat get away and he will need to make sure that he doesn't totally nuke the sewer systems as he fights down here as Indiana had said the guild is already in enough hot water from his antics and they seem mad at him for his zerker rage that damaged the training room and hurt Lumikki as he shouldn't still be raging so hard and losing his cool so badly with other members that should be his friends but Emil also knows that no one liked him anyways but he was serious in being as strong as he can be.

Emil charged up his gauntlets and he then throws punches that beam off into the rats bouncing around from rat to rat and killing them as he had his lightning surround the nest to stop any of them from escaping as well as killing new rats that come into the nest and he doesn't back down as he needed to make these jewels and earn more credit from the guild that looked down on him and he still feels like Yuurei and Brone look down on him so he has a lot to prove and even more to earn to get them off of his back as he needs to get stronger so he can face off with them and not just be thrown to the side like he was common trash and then kill off the troubles that were plaguing him. He ran into the nest and he punches and fights the rats as he went as there was much to be done and he needed to make sure that he kept the hits counting and the rats bodies adding up.

Indiana is watching and calling out if rats were not just yielding to his lightning as it seemed some of the rats had gained magical resistances that were making them harder to kill off till Emil punches into them and gaining their hearts in his hand and he wanted to make sure that there were no survivors as there is no need to allow them to respread and make a new nest but he knows that rats never stay away very long from this cursed city. Emil throws more lighting and fists as he uses his chaining skill from his magic as he knows that is the only real way to make the magic cause less damage to the sewer that was around them but he knows that he can't keep the damage fully from effecting the pipes but he had to do what he could and that was just part of the job for him as he had a lot that he had to do here.

Emil keeps his fists ready as rats down on him and he keeps knocking them around and killing them as he could and he keeps them backing up and being zapped by his lightning as they couldn't really get away from him or really fight him as he was simple but he can only push himself so far as he is using a lot of mana and he was starting to grow tired and his mana was depleting at an increased rate and the souls in his cape mock him a little from how weak he still is and it was like Emil had caught a second wind and he smashes into them and keeps going as his rage grows him slowly losing grips to clear thinking as the mad god keeps trying to help him Emil started laughing and becoming more reckless the thunder god calls for more lighting and Emil does so.

Indiana started yelling at Emil to snap out of it as the nests rat king came rolling out at the mage who without a second thought ran right at the tangle of rats that screamed and cried in pain as they tore through their own rat brothers and Emil was unfazed by this creature coming at him and he keeps his fists just keep flying slowly killing the rats as Indiana starts setting up traps that would keep rats out of the area as Emil was probably not going to be in any shape to do it later. Emil is tearing apart the rat king and he looked over the the crap that had been going on and he smiles as he goes for the finishing blow on the rat king and it is finished and he looked around and finished off the left over rats and wasted not a bit of his energy and then he snapped out of it and he breathed heavy as his whole body screamed in pain and Indiana called him over and made Emil charge up the shock traps that would keep the rats away from this area and they left telling the cleaning crew of the rat mess and they paid him a fee for doing it and he went on the path back to the guild to end the day.
