Drakkon had done a lot in Marigold already. He didn’t think he would be here for too long, but here he was. It would seem like they would need him once more. This time it was for something else. He didn’t think this would happen, but he had been hired to help and put on one of the greatest shows this place had seen in a while. The Dragon Slayer would shake his head; he had been traveling throughout Fiore for quite some time, and now he was stuck somehow.

He didn’t think he would be in the South for too long, but here he was. Still, he would accept the job as it would seem like they would be paying him a lot for his work. The Demi-God would make his way to the theater and once he was there, he would see someone approaching him and wave at him to get his attention.

“If it isn’t Drakkon. We heard a lot about what you have done in the south recently. It’s a pleasure to see you. I didn’t know you would be this handsome as well. We heard what you did in the Opera House is it true that you were performing with ghosts in the area at night?” He asked curious to hear what Drakkon would say.

The Dragon Slayer was surprised that the news of his last quest had traveled fast, and he would rub the back of his head. He wasn’t going to lie, so he figured saying the truth was for the best.

“Yeah, I had helped a lot of spirits move on from the realm of the living and had to do some performance within a play they had dished out. It was weird, 0but that isn’t why we’re here today right?” He asked curious to hear more about what he was going to be doing here.

The man would nod as it would be true that the spirits had enjoyed his performance, so he was going to ask him to do something for this play. He walked around him, and he figured that with his looks and his will to try anything, he would be perfect for this role. It would be good for him, the performance he had in his mind, and he would make a lot of jewels.

“Great, so how about you come to join the play? If you are performing tonight then you won’t just do well, but you will be getting a lot of jewels. I know it’s the last second, and while everyone has had a lot of time to practice you would only have a few hours. Still, are you up for the task?” He asked curious to hear what Drakkon had to say.

Drakkon would rub his chin as it would seem like they were going to be paying him a lot more if he took on an acting role.

Drakkon would think about it a bit more before he decided to take on the role in his play.

“Fine, I will do it. Just give me the script and I will be going over it throughout the day.” He said to the man.

He would clap with excitement as he couldn’t wait to see Drakkon in action. He would hand him the play, and when Drakkon opened it, he would see who he was playing. It was highlighted for him, so he could rehearse it without a problem.

The Demi-God would take it and he would go to the stage and he would go around. He would start going over it as he was pacing around the stage. The people there would stop what they were doing to look at Drakkon pacing back and forth in the back of the stage. He had made sure that he wasn’t in anybody’s way when he was doing this.

Drakkon would look at them, and they would all look away and continue with what they were doing. Drakkon would nod when he saw this and he would start reading again. The Dragon Slayer would keep reading through this as he would do so for a few hours. He was on a tight schedule, and he would start going through the lines that were given to him and at the same time reenacting the actions he was supposed to let forth in the play.

The young man would continue to do this for a few hours. He had to make sure that he had his lines correct, and he had to know when to say them as well. There was a lot for him to do in a few hours, but he knew he could do it. He was getting paid, so it was why he was working extra hard. When they saw what he was doing, they were impressed to see how dedicated he was to something that wasn’t his career.

Drakkon would do this for hours, and he was getting used to his lines and how he was supposed to play them out. They weren’t just words, but he knew that they had feelings behind them. He was to bring forth those feelings if he wanted things to succeed. The people there would approach him, and they would also help him out and they would give him tips on what to do and what not to do. He would take in everything that they had to say.

The Devourer was intrigued by their words, and he would keep pushing out his rehearsal. It would seem like he had joined in with the others somehow, which wasn’t a bad thing. He would be able to perfect things with everybody here. They would go over the lines with each other and through the steps they were to come out from, and this would help him out more.

They had been helping him with his stuff for hours to make sure that he had gotten everything right. They had done their part with their lines and had to integrate him into everything. Once they were done helping him, the group would do one last thing and it was do a quick and nice mock play. It was to make sure that everything was fine. They would 9start and they would make sure that it would be done quickly. They didn’t have to change clothes or anything like that. It was something they were doing straight. As it continued things would be fine, and some of them would give him some advice, which he would take without a second guess.

It would take a bit, but they were done, and soon enough showtime would come, and the play would begin. The crew would get ready with makeup and their outfits, and they would get ready as the theater had gotten packed.

The play would soon begin, and everybody in the audience would be quiet. It would start and it would go smoothly. Drakkon would come out whenever it was his turn, and he would put his all in this play. It was different for him to do this, and it was why he had done it. He would make sure that everything was all right and that he was passionate about what he did. The play would continue and soon enough it would reach its climax. When it did the people in the audience would clap loudly for the performance that they had witnessed. It was enjoyable, to say the least. When his client noticed how well he had done, he would approach Drakkon. The man would hand him the reward that he was owed and even a bit extra for everything he had done. Drakkon took the jewels and he would be on his way to his final destination within the south.
