This quest... Atani wasn't so sure she liked it. She hated to deceive, but damn it, Giuliano Salvadori had money, and lots of it. He was a very wealthy man of pure Fiorian blood who resided within Magnolia. He himself was quite adept at utilizing both nature and light magic-- much like Atani once was back before Yuan had taken over her body-- but his son, Luca Salvadori, was significantly less adept. It was painfully obvious to a professional such as Atani that the boy didn't know a thing about using magic like his father, but Giuliano had far too much pride in his son. He wanted to make him happy, to make him feel as accomplished as he was, and to do that he deceived Luca. He polluted his thoughts with the belief that he really was a talented mage. It had seemed innocent at first, but now it backfired on him.

Luca wanted to host a party and show off his 'magical abilities' to his friends. Giuliano knew that he had backed himself into a corner, but the invites were already sent and well... He couldn't just crush his son's spirits like that. He wanted to take it upon himself to put on a brilliant display of magic at this party, but it was crucial none of the guests would know it was really him. He was capable of making his show seem it was at the hands of Luca, but he needed extra reassurance that nobody-- not even Luca-- would know he was the one behind it, and that's where Atani stepped in.

Throughout the party, she appeased Giuliano by keeping careful watch of the guests and diverting the attention of the ones who seemed to be more on the curious or suspicious side. All in all, the performance went off without a hitch, and Giuliano was incredibly pleased. He rewarded Atani accordingly, and informed her he was keen on working with her again in the future.
