Another day and that means another quest. This time though there was a small change of pace. Instead of Michael being the one who goes and grabs the quest for him and MJ, this time they went to the quest board together. Mary Jane wanted to go with him, so he oblidged and together they walked to the square with the quest board. He was noticably protective of her as he remembered what happened when they were here together. So he stuck close to her. But not too close so someone doesnt mistake them for a couple.
"Welp. Here we are" he spoke and stretched as it was still morning or felt like it. He had a bit of a rough night. But he wasnt gonna tell that to her. "Ok ok. Imma let you choose the quest this time" he said and once she heard that, he would watch her choose. He curiously looked as she chose one quest and would read it in his head. He did skim it and breeze through it as per usual. But he got the idea what the quest was about.
"Ok, lets go!" he said and followed her to where they would meet Jacob, who was a young fisherman seemingly excited about the new bait he had. He seemed to claim it was amazing and magical and whatever. Michael tried to pretend to be invested, but honestly he didnt care if the guy paid premium cash for it. In Michaels opinion, it was a lost cost. Anywho, once they all mingled things out and got their task set. The trio would go out into the sea. Michael asking should he be the one to spread the magic lure and MJ being the one with the fishing rod. He wanted to make sure she was ok with it. Usually fishing rods required some strength if a big fish pulls and such. But Michael believed everything would fine and dandy and safe. He had complete confidence that MJ can handle this

For some days now, Michael had come to her room with a quest. She asked him if she could tag along before he would pick it up. Would that not make it easier? He would not have to run back and forth and he would no longer have the questions if she would go along on the quest. She had told him before that she would go on jobs with him, so why not give it an active go? She had seen the board before and well as she was now walking around town more often, she could narrate her way around a lot better. It was not like she got lost again. She looked up at Michael who was definitely taller than her and nodded as they were here. When Michael said he let her choose the request, she immediately got a serious face on and turned her golden eyes to the board. "Okay, let's go." She muttered to herself and she would skim over them. Finally she stayed in the Raina area, she was curious to the fish and took it off the board to give to Michael to read and to walk them to the right destination.

She did not say much to Jacob, he seemed to be most focused on Michael anyway. She looked from one to another. "Eeh me?" With the fishing rod? Jacob suggested for them all to give it a try, more chance to get a fish. Mary Jane still was not convinced of all this but she would do her best. She would sit very quiet and watch the bobbing of the lure and the bait. Was this what people did for fun? Sit still and watch the water? And pay so much for this? She could not imagine it.

Michael was not the fisherman type. You are stuck on a boat, the sun scorching you and all you had to do was stay still and pay attention to a lure to catch fish. Maybe if it was another fishing spot that had more shade and nature and solid land, he'd be more content with fishing. It was an odd thought. He wished he could go for a swim on the beach. He'd love to see Mary Jane in a swims- Waaaaaiiit was that a fish? He looked at the sea and licked his lips in anticipation. Personally, he didnt get anything spectacular, but the silhouette he saw would eventually show itself, as it bit Jacobs lure and started to viciously pull.

Michael immediatelly grabbed the fisherman, wrapping his hands around the guys torso and keeping him still in the boat. Oh they sure have caught something alright. Maybe his stupid lure really was magical. The thought of that annoyed him. Now he had to focus on keeping some fisherman in a boat and help him pull him and the fish on the boat. Oh how he wished for beaches and babes and yet he had to deal with this. Eventually through combined effort of him, Mary Jane and the fisherman dude, they actually managed to overpower the fish and reel it in. It was a huge catch and Jacob sure was very happy about it. Michael just wiped the sweat off his face as he felt relieved that they did it. But also felt tired and very sweaty and stinky from the sweat and the fish. He hoped now that they got the fish that they could return to shore

Mary Jane thought about fishing and the ecky feeling that came over her, when she realised she should maybe get this fish on a hook and get that hook out of it's mouth and... she shivered. Nope, nope nope. She would just not show it to the two boys and followed Jacob's instructions to get the lure into the water and wait. And wait some more. It was rather dull and she would just stare at it. That is until she heard Jacob squeal something about that the bait worked, the bait worked! Apparently that was his signal that he was railing something in. It must be a heavy catch as Michael grabbed him by his torso to make sure the young man stayed in the boat.

With the two guys struggling, Mary Jane noticed that they were leaning very far into the water on that side and she stumbled over to sit on the far opposite side. Making sure that she kept her eyes on Michael, if they would linger a little more that way, she would grab him to make sure that he would not fall into the water. In the end no one did though, that was a blessing. She stared at the icky fish and back at Michael, why had she picked this quest again?

She felt nauseous and she was not sure if the fish was the only fault. When they returned to the shore, she had a very red nose and cheekbones... because what was sun burn for this little Caelum girl. She definitely wanted to go back and Jacob did not mind paying them both a bonus for their effort, considering that he would not have gotten the fish on his own. Well, thank god he was grateful. She waved goodbye and made her way quickly back into the city. Yea fish was not her thing.
