Description: A small, 40cm long staff shaped like a sword, the Jeweled Sword of Zelretch can't actually be used as such as the entire blade is made of a large, pure white crystal, held in place by a stone hilt.

History: Nowhere near as famous as Merlin, only those who truly delve in Arcane studies know the name Zelretch. To those, he's famous as one of the strongest Human mages in history, a Crystal Mage who transcended the boundaries of his magic, a Boscosi prodigy with the kind of talent who appears only once every few generations. Said to have focused his Crystal Magic on abstract aspects of refraction and reflection, he learned to channel mana from parallel worlds and use it to fuel powerful spells. To his enemies, he seemed as though he had an endless reserve of mana to pull through, due to the vast number of worlds he could reach into. Though he had many prodigal students himself, no user of Crystal Magic has ever been able to attain this ability. As such, his eponymous staff ultimately became famous in turn for its pale ability to imitate Zelretch's power.

Effects

Kaleidoscope: Zelretch was famed for his ability to draw mana from parallel worlds through his crystals, and the staff allows a wielder to use a fraction of this power. Every turn, they may spend up to bonus 400 bonus Mana from Jeweled Sword Zelretch. This mana can only be used on spells cast through the staff. If the mana is not used it disappears.
