Erebus

It was dawn— each star brighter than the next decorating the skies wonderful canvas. Purple clouds just barely catching a bit of the horizon’s light. The sun creeping its way up the East, to shine brilliantly over the west. In the chamber Erebus resides, there is a large bed, traveling about fifteen feet.

Three women lazily coddling one another in the sheets as Erebus throws a black tank top on, equipping his Shadowguile. His hair was a mess, and his eyes tired behind bags that showed desperation, and hunger.

Erebus clung to his shelf, filling his flask with sweet sour poison, Whiskey. For the job ahead. His hands graced the sides of the shelf as he turned around to spectate the women fondling one another drunken in his sleeping quarters. Swigging his flask and letting his eyes travel elsewhere he takes for the door.

Erebus

Erebus pulls a cape and hood off the coat hangar on the door with his departure. Cladding the final garments, his fourth and third hands, shifting his rings around for comfort, while he pondered the interaction he would foresee in the near future.

His dreams showed his blood, conquest, and metal. His resolve told him he tried to play the good guy’s game, even Jin felt they had been lied too. He could no longer expect anyone to care much what path he went down. They either supported it or wanted him dead.

Maybe I want that.

He found himself answering the thoughts which plagued his head like a swirling vortex. In the back of his mind, he always knew this day would come. The day when he would lead his brothers and sisters under the banner to war. Now it felt as though he was unchanged.

Unhinged without his master. No... it’s because he was the master. Every fault would be his own, every wrongdoing would come back and eat him eventually. But to satiate his curse, his pact. He would kill— and do it with style baby.

Erebus

He smirked as the lift opened, which would take him about sixty five flights down placing him at the earth. When he came upon the first floor, numerous men were hard at work. Smelting, crafting, engineering the future of his Warcraft.

No man, no soul, or body. Would stop what was understood to Eternal Nightmare. The spot stained walls, now caked in a dark grey paint to hide the attack from the Rune Knight felt so long ago.

Erebus stopped, bending his knee in the corner. He felt it again. The pain of loss— the infinite hell of empathy. The human nervous systems answer to stress.

Erebus wished he was a daemon or a monster— in reality. He was a man. Perhaps the worst monster of them all was an emotional one. Regardless, he understood his role and his assignment. He would carry out Eternal Nightmare’s goals at whatever the cost to his person.

A few men noticed the Guildmaster coming to his side. He casually waved them away, not interested in divulging but perhaps he would go slaughter some graveyard zombies until he felt better.

Erebus

Erebus pushes the gates to the Spiral open. Stepping out, the sun had risen a bit more sense his descent. The large open window of his chambers acted merely to show him when the sun peaked and normally his exit scheduled the morning by routine.

The grassy hillside, and dirt path traveled distantly to a city one could see on the edge of the map. Erebus places two fingers to his lips and whistled the sound of a Pegasi cry was heard as a blue and black Winged Dhuilin landed on the ground. Erebus smiles at Benny, attaches to his steed was his travel bag, and a curious little dog poked its head out. Barking it’s petite cry to the dark lord.

Erebus walks to the two creatures, petting them both with a disdainful sigh. It would be sad when he had to see these guys go. As, after all, being a human meant his life was stricken with mortality.

Mortal whereas Alisa was nothing normal. She was much older than the Rogue if he recalled the rumors correctly. Each of her members just as tough but not as easy to crack as she was.

Erebus had one of two options. Face her or face everyone if he didn’t. He wished she had not lied to him on the Island, wished his master was alive. There simply wasn’t much he could do. He had only one option. If he wanted to retain his honor that is, and with whom we are talking about.

Erebus

That is all he lived for.

When Erebus approached a woodland space, he took note of the autumn leaves. Nearly all the trees were naked but a few held patches of orange and brown. With it being the eve of October, that meant the spirits were going to be about in Oak more frequently.

Samhain would probably be back soon as well.

Erebus pondered what he would do if Hargeon dead folk haunted his life. He shuddered lightly, the human response system to anxiety showing itself to his mind.

He could not be afraid of those things. No— he knew he wouldn’t. The grass seemed to die off and only rocks and leaves for another ten minutes before Erebus approaches an old fence.

With a flash of light, Erebus was holding one of his items he kept in the magic ring at his middle finger. It was the 2x4, a long 2m stick of wood, running forward Erebus stabbed it against the ground to propel his body over the 8 foot fence, as he did so he rotated acrobatically. Landing on his feet at the other side.

Erebus

He then resummoned the 2x4 to his ring, and continued forward through the graveyard of the Oakland Church. He was here to slay some undead, recently spirits were attaching themselves into the dead bodies they came from— creating zombies and crawlers that littered the vast graveyard cemetery of Oak— dedicated to the dead for at least the last 300 years. Because of that, many, many, zombies were potential threat.

Erebus unsheathes his items as they summon in shades of green light around his person. They were transferred from their storage in the magic ring over his glove. Each item was special, it possessed a power different from the last of course. The masterful Spellslasher was a legendary piece that was invented to suppress magic in the past. Able to turn spells into dust. The next item was a regional legendary with roots to the native continent. A club from an item, made like a wood paddle but lined with rocks as sharp as diamond heads. The item was a ruthless offensive weapon, able to ignore the resistance of foes while also damaging them under the armor by finding loose spots in the oppositions gear or equipments. The final weapon was, of course the Shaka Zulu’s Assegai. A mythical weapon which transgressed time and had passed hands from legendary warriors across Earthland. The last of which was Lucretia Wolfenstein before Erebus managed to parley it off the Black Market. With it in the hands of Eternal Nightmare’s Leader, the human had become a menacing threat to all of the Light Guilds.

Erebus

If Odin was the progenitor, then Erebus would be the executioner. He would find his way through any and all onslaught that appeared to him. His feet kissed the earth while he made towards the foes.

When like a blink, he was on top of his prey, superhuman strength buried the corpse right back within the earth itself. It was as if nothing ever slowed him down at all. Blurring the lines of speed and accelerating atop his next foe with blitzing motion.

Erebus weaves and clawed through the zombies as they came for him, then the super zombies able to run as fast as horses. Erebus places the butt end of his spear to the dirt, and pushed down, rotating his bloody like a helicopter blade pole dancer, he bounced the spear against the ground. Pogostick Helicopter Murder of Death technique. It was a good ability for ground control. Allowing him to saw dozens of bodies apart as the waves came forward.

Erebus

Finally... Erebus thought for a second, seeing the last zombie fall. “It’s over.” Today, his hatred was sated. Sedated was a better term. Because his hunger knew zero bounds, constantly roaring to be fed like the Tiger sleeping within. The Legendary Rogue finished his deed, he committed to whatever acts needed to facilitate more pay and thus acquire more bounty.

However, at least his pocketbook would be nice and full after the fact. He lit a cigarette and puffed the fumes in, letting his mind go. The next event was almost upon them.

Get to the Fieros Girdle, take the path to Dahlia. Get the alliance with Utopian Demise out of the way. Then after that was through.

Destroy Hargeon.
