Lisa the Narcissist
"My, my, what a beautiful city! I'm almost sad to see it go.~"

The Seraphim of Eradication, the goddess of comeliness, and perhaps even the one true beholder of all that was glorious, Lisa, had been one of the last of the bunch to bless this macrocosm with her presence. The Mistress of Blue Pegasus had done and seen many things, but this world was amongst the most resplendent! A menacing grin crept upon her face as she looked over the city beneath her. She was right where she needed to be; on top. Her fingers, sporting red acrylic nail polish, gently tapped her chin. From thirty meters above the city, entirely invisible due to the effects of her relic, she pondered on the ways that she could play with her pray before their grand annihilation.

Insipidity struck quickly for the Demonic Seraphim. Committing genocide was boring if the people facing extinction relucted to fight back. Watching her prey struggle for victory was the best part. There was not a single person throughout any of the universes who could take her down, but that was the point! She nearly orgasmed just from the thought of crushing the spirits of the mages of this world after a hard earned victory, yet she doubted that such a thing would occur. In the end she assumed that she'd have to settle for an effortless city cleanse.

"I suppose I could just...~"

A simple flick of her wrist, "Mph!", was all it took and Morrigan's staff would do the rest. A bolt of lightning flew through the firmament at speeds virtually too fast for the average human eye to discern. The lightning hurtled through the empyrean before striking down onto the streets and creating an explosion of sixty-four meters. "The calm before the storm." Destruction must come before creation. As a goddess, Lisa understood this well enough. "Fufufu!~" the woman laughed. By the power of god, she would do what was indispensable to surmount this town. Who would step up and stop her? Would it be the members of this universe's Blue Pegasus? Perhaps even her own doppelgänger?

Fire raged through the buildings and roared through the streets. Hundreds of people had been consumed by the wrath of Lisa the Narcissist. Neither the most vulnerable or the most privileged amongst these heathens would survive. Their screams of agony and fear were nothing more than music to her ears. She bit her lip reflexively. A little more of this and god willing she would climax. Oh, how pleasurable it was to be her; Omnipotent, elegant, and indomitable. "I quite like it here.~" There was no longer a need to hide herself, for she was about to be the savior these people were forced to need.

Daiko Flayme
“Okay, one more time, Coda… I’ll try and injure myself, and before my magic kicks in, I want you to cast your new spell on me,” the bronze-skinned bird enthusiast commanded his avian companion before walking up the stairs again. He was standing outside near the entrance to one of the bazars in Port Hargeon, and he needed some height to scratch his elbow. The plan was for him to leap down, knock his elbow on the ground, and then have Coda use her newly trained spell to heal it… y’know, before his own Magic stepped up and healed it instead. She had to be quick with her spell if Daiko wanted to see its effects, for she had been outcast by his own healing factor four times already.

“Okay, and three, two, o-“

*BOOM!*

Debris and wood came flying over him and many others nearby, resulting from a huge explosion that hit the town out of goddamn nowhere. Daiko’s entire day had taken the most drastic swing in his life, and he completely forgot about his training with Coda, for he could hear people’s agonizing screams die out. The last thing he ever wanted to hear was the dying voices of his townsfolk.

A swift burst of flames removed all of the debris from his toppled self before he rose up on his feet. He spared not a second and darted up in the air, his body a simple but sharp plume of flames. A furious, bloodshot look was coated all over his face as he turned his head around in his new Take-Over, now capable of flight and gaining a wider perspective over their poor town… but he saw not the ambusher. Unbelievable.

“…” There was an underused spell of his that might prove useful now. It was but a hunch, but Daiko closed his eyes and held a hand on one side of his head. With a swipe across his face, his eyes changed form and colors, and once he opened it again, the eyes were now scanned by a red magic circle before their pupils enveloped all of their whites. Immediately after, the pupils shrank and revealed to him a world seen in what he liked to call ‘heat-vision’; if the enemy was hiding via some dumb invisibility spell, then they surely couldn’t hide their body heat from him…

But he caught nothing as of yet. He kept flying around, hoping to catch them within the field that his eyes could sense.

How could it have come to this? A question Esperia repeatedly asked herself as she watched the chaos in the streets of Hargeon. Her steps were slow and hesitant as she gazed around her. Buildings were burning or had already collapsed. Survivors were fleeing or when not possible crying for a savior.

It was fortunate that at least she had made the right choice to convince Priscilla to hide Hasani with her at the Collective Mind headquarters. Because if he had been here amidst the chaos she might have lost herself to madness instead.

But she held on, clinging to her sanity because she was aware that it was the duty of the strong to protect the weak. As reluctant as she was to take on such a duty, not wanting to play the role of a hero and lose everything once more. There was something that stirred her in the face of such overwhelming despair.

But it was not hope or heroism. It was well-concealed darkness within her heart. Twisted anger, hatred toward all that was evil and wrong within this world. Perhaps it hurt her all the more now she knew so many people in Hargeon, came to consider it her second home. And even worse was the fact that the one responsible was basking in the bliss of her destruction like a goddess who had just condemned the world to its demise.

"ALISA!"

A voice called out in a mixture of rage and hatred as she raised her hand toward her mouth and bit down onto it. The initial surge of pain as her teeth penetrated into her flesh was numbed instantly by the adrenaline rush of her transformation. The almost twenty-meters tall titan started to rise from among the ruined carnage the invading goddess had created mere moments ago. Eyes alit with fury as the titan gripped its hands.

Even if she had heard the rumors about these otherwordly invaders, to think she was face to face with the one impersonating her mentor- no, to call her a fake would be misguided. This was Alisa, just the Alisa from a different realm of existence.

"You're going to tell us where you came from, how you came here, and why you came here. But before all that..." An almost feral bestial howl came from the Titan as it raised its arms into a combative stance. Down below she could see that the rune knights and remaining Blue Pegasus mages were quickly trying to evacuate the city from this confusing terror that struck them. "I'M GOING TO PULVERIZE THAT TWISTED SMILE OFF YOUR FACE!"

It was clear the Titan was fury incarnate... But at least she still retained her sanity, partly because she saw the little phoenix fluttering in the sky nearby. She would ensure that little Daiko would not suffer the same fate as the people in the city. She wouldn't be able to face her mentor if something happened to him!

Cue the music:

GEAR:

Nana was in the midst of personal business when the commotion first began. Fortunately, the tall blonde woman was on the opposite side of the town where the explosion had occurred. The day seemed like any other day. In fact, Nana was going about her daily routine of inflicting pain or death on others for little to no reason at all. Some would say it was senseless violence. A true sophist might argue that an impartial maimer and killer was the truest essence of evil. They were unfettered by morals or obligations. She showed gratitude to her guild family as they had adopted her from the streets as a child and raised and trained her.

Erebus was her personal mentor, her teacher. He had taught her how to be more than street-wise. he taught her how to hold a weapon as well as footing and environmental considerations. The skill of observation had been ingrained into her very being. As such, she was likely one of the first to notice that something was amiss.

Was it a trick of the sun? Or was it a flash of light somewhere? The sun had not set yet and there was still plenty of daylight. There were no clouds at the moment, but the distinct rumbling of lightning could be heard. A sound that had been in tandem with that of an explosion. Nana had stopped her typical antics. The two men whom had had the misfortune of drawing her attention, fled down the dark alleyway as Nana's attention was drawn elsewhere. Someone was having fun at Nana's expense. Her expense being victims the blonde daemon woman hadn't gotten to toy with as of yet. She glanced at the two men scurrying away, they could live for now. Just on a whim.

Smoke filled a section of the town's air space as fires raged in a specific direction. One would assume that was the epicenter of all the commotion, but Nana noticed something quite difficult to not see. Out of nowhere, a titan of a human appeared and seemed to focus on one spot, throwing words at some foe that Nana couldn't see as of yet. Her own position was at least fifty meters from where Alisa was and more pointedly to the rear of the woman's position- which had likely been consumed by the appearance of the giant and a seeming firefly in the air.

To Nana, the cause of the explosion was still a mystery. Maybe the firefly and the titan were fighting amongst themselves? She would allow herself to come closer to spy on the events and join the fray it it looked like fun. She would quietly dash from below and behind Alisa's position, not once but twice. She covered the distance in two seconds flat- coming just short of the soon-to-be unfolding battle scene. The giant was directed at someone else entirely. Not the firefly. Or maybe it was a bird? There was a third participant in this battle and more than likely the cause of the explosion.

Nana wore her equipment, but also a lavish black dress which didn't seem to fit the scenery or scenario at all. Why would someone wear an expensive dress to battle? Spur her companion, held onto her golden locks as Nana remained hidden from sight, not magically. Just with guile and positioning in the streets below. Her purple daemonic eyes scanning the area, looking for the target. Oh how much fun it would be to steal the kill from these two impressive mages. A sinister and devilish smile crept across her lips.

Lisa the Narcissist
At last, after seconds that felt more homogeneous to hours, there were two beings in particular who had been bold enough to step forward. While the others ran and screamed in fear, escorted by other puny bags of flesh and bone, a fairly minute bird rose up into the air. The Serpahim was inclined to indulge, thirsty for a fight and even hungrier to amass the flying brown man. He would indeed make an impeccable play thing. There were still some tribulations Lisa the Narcissist would have to put him through, just to ascertain that he was worthy enough to exist among her collection of toys. Licking her lips, she commenced to raise her hand, preparing to unleash another explosive spell until something rather... unexpected transpired.

"ALISA!"

A voice bellowed towards her. The goddess averted her eyes to the diminutive woman in the crowd. Was she mad? Had she not realized that she was but a bug to Lisa? And for this heathen to integrate an "A" to her name as if she truly kenned her? It was abhorrent, absolutely disgusting. In fact, it quite vexed the woman of god. As if things couldn't become more fascinating though, this same woman bit her hand. One moment she was a speck on the ground, the next the area around her began to shake, energy exploding from her and she became a giant. "Oh?" No longer was Lisa consumed by the power of boredom, things were finally heating up. The woman grew to be about twenty meters tall. Still, to the Giant Lisa was God. Floating about 15 meters away from the giant, Lisa decided to meet her where she was and since this...thing, could optically discern her, she might as well reveal herself.

One minute the Serpahim had been plenarily invisible, the next she lowered herself by ten meters, still keeping a distance of fifteen meters, and became visible to all who dared to gaze upon her glory. "My god, you're an unsightly thing, hm? You look similar to the Esperia from my macrocosm, except...fatter. How fascinating." Would she oblige? Tell this woman the things she was so desperate to know? Would that ineluctably cause the entire plan to crumble? No...no. This woman wouldn't live to embrace another day. "Alright, since you're so eager to know~." Lisa's eyes began to glow vibrant with pink. Pink light outline her entire body, causing the entire city to tremble.

"I am the Serpahim Lisa. Goddess. Beholder of comeliness and eradication. The ultimate being, and I emanate from another universe..." her voice boomed. That slick, charming smirk never once fading from her lips. "And I am here to claim this world. You are but an ant to me, mortal..."

Everyone within a span of one-hundred meters with a mana level below two-thousand would suddenly come to a halt. Those who had endeavored to flee to safety would find themselves trapped in their positions and suddenly...their own eyes would glow pink. The denizens of this city were now caught in her Love, indisputably allegiant to her as long as she sustained this spell. Anybody who wasn't caught in her Love lock would be assailed. The mind-controlled civilians ran towards Esperia's legs and began to attack, some others would assail Nana- a girl who Lisa still hand't noticed thanks to this giant in her way and determinately, other civilians would crowd below Daiko waiting for him to lower himself so that they could tear into his flesh. This was the power of profound appreciation; Love.

"And by the time I'm done, you will all bow to me!"

Notes: Lisa used Indisputable Love on the civilians, now they are like zombies. Some of them are dying from trying to fight the mind control, most of them have become soldiers. They cause little to no damage and are extremely easy to beat. (All of their stats are "1")

Daiko Flayme
A-what?

Was that Esperia’s voice?! What was happening?! Daiko didn’t even register her visiting, but what took him by even bigger surprise was her colossal transformation coming out of nowhere-

No, wait… there was something else. Something far more alarming… she screamed Alisa’s name. One of the invaders from the news he heard was another Alisa?! It made his blood run ice-cold, merely imagining that kind of scenario, and it almost braked his flight midair. However, he rose his guard up once more when this Alisa finally revealed herself, prompting him to cancel his heat-vision spell.

She… really did look like her. Her voice was identical to Alisa’s too. However, calling Esperia ‘unsightly’ was as far from Alisa’s norm as humanly possible, and it made the Firebird sick to his stomach witnessing. She even spelled her name wrong…

Daiko should blindside her, somehow. With that huge size, Esperia could deal some devastating damage to this wannabe-goddess, but since this one was so eager to reveal herself in that splendor, maybe she had already put up some kind of spell. It looked to be the case, for there was a powerful, pink light surrounding her contour.

Well, Daiko had no time to waste. He began closing in on this Lisa, uncaring for what sort of injuries she would inflict upon him – he could heal it away and let Esperia take the charge afterwards, and he’d learned a few, new spells over the years. Once when he was within 15 meters of her, he breathed in deeply and moved his head back. His torso was lowered a bit closer to his knees, and he jutted his head forward of himself. A red magic circle manifested itself in front of his face, and his breath transmitted through it became a beam of fire, 2 meters in width, shooting straight towards Lisa’s form. Those days of sparring with Alisa had made Daiko less hesitant on dealing serious damage towards this Alisa- wait, no, she called herself Lisa, yeah… stupid.

The winged invader had chosen to descend toward her, something Esperia kept in mind as the woman started to converse. So her assumption was correct. This invader was indeed from a parallel universe, for she mentioned there was another Esperia, on top of the fact her presence felt uncomfortably similar to Alisa. "Some girls like a bit of meat on their hips, makes them all the more snuggly." Esperia chimed in response to the winged invader's taunt as she listened to the woman's introduction. "Wow, Gaia must have truly hated your universe. To think that one of Earthlands greatest mages got 'you' as their counter-part? I feel almost sad for your universe.... 'almost'~"

A smirk lingered on her lips as she remained inside her Titan, observing the ongoing events. Daiko came zooming in for an attack, a showing of courage and determination she would praise the boy for later, but at the same time Lisa had chosen for some personal trickery herself, the subtle glow from her eyes and the magical spell that seemingly bewitched the civilians... She could feel how the civilians had turned into mindless thralls, clawing and punching at her feet. "And to think you'd hide behind petty entrancement spells instead of doing your own dirty work. You really are a cheap movie villain aren't you?"

As she said these words the Titan crouched lower, one hand reaching for her nape to cover it in case of an hostile attack while the other started to reach for the civilians, roughly picking them up in her giant hand. "Forgive me everyone..." The somber tone made it clear Esperia was about to do something drastic as she continued. "But I need you all to go for a swim!" With that declaration, the Titan quite literally pitch threw the civilians into the air and toward the direction of the sea. Not at full strength mind you, just enough to ensure they would reach the sea.

"With that handled..." Esperia muttered softly as she decided to finally deal with the villainess floating in the air. Thanks to Daiko's temporay distraction the Titan hoped to get an opportunity in to attack her as well, a swift step forwards and a jump following that brought her twenty meters up into the air, or rather forty meters above ground level as her fist came sailing down toward Lisa.

"How about I get your head out of the clouds!" Esperia shouted in anger as her fist neared the woman. Would Lisa be able to dodge the attack? However, wanting to ensure that there would be no obstacles between her and Lisa's face, she decided to activate her Kamui's eye. If there had been any concealed traps, Kamui would warp them away for her, and if not? At least anything protecting her head would disappear~ Only time would tell...

LIONS AND TIGERS AND DRAGONS

It seemed that this stranger would not allow things to be so easy. Nana had hoped to get a convenient surprise attack on the stranger... and maybe even one of the other two participants in this brawl. The daemon woman had surmised the identity of the giant. It was Esperia, a strong and reluctant hero type. Nana had been in combat with the woman before and knew that she could hold her own. Both of them being familiar with each other's tactics already would make tandem attacks much more likely. The only downside was currently, no one knew or seemed to know that Nana was there.

Or maybe they did, but who could say for certain? In either case, the stranger who was now identified as a dark universe Alisa- had used some kind of thrall enchantment to control the townspeople. The very first two citizens that came to greet Nana in a heart-warming way, was the two men that Nana had rarely decided to let go when they had fled in terror at the start of all the commotion. They were no match for Nana and she easily cut throw their necks with the bladed edges of her guns which appeared in her hands. Blood splayed about the narrow street she had been using for coverage, covering the woman herself in a fine red mist.

It would only take a few seconds for more citizens to come. Killing them would prove easy but time consuming. Plus Nana was certain Esperia would have more than words to direct at her if Nana retaliated with abandon. A point Nana knew all too well from their encounter. Not to mention from watching Esperia's giant hand scooping up the people and tossing them into the shallows of the sea. The citizens are enthralled and the town will sustain huge damage from the four mages battling here. There's no need to hold back. she thought to herself, not that she planned to hold back from the beginning. It was just a convenient excuse she could blanket Esperia's anger with, in case the woman intended to give Nana a giant handed bare bottom spanking.

Fortunately, things seemed to heat up quite quickly. The little firefly was quick and aggressive. Thanks to that, Esperia herself seemed to close the distance and also perform a powerful physical attack. Nana had two choices. She could attack with them and potentially get several hits in between the three attackers. Or she could wait. Nana decided to wait and use Esperia and the firefly that would soon be learned as Daiko, as bait.

If they all attacked together, the chances are this dark Alisa would use a large spell to hit all of them at once. To counter this, Nana waited for the right opportunity to attack. She remained stationary and beneath this dark alisa, like she had been before the target descended the ten meters lower. Waiting to strike in the split second opening between attack and reaction. She was well within Nana's striking distance now. The moment this dark Alisa began to cast a spell, run or counter Daiko and Esperia's attacks, Nana would dash once- bringing her up and directly behind this dark Alisa, both of her guns slashing upward into the target's back.

If her attack failed, she could squeeze the trigger of her guns- emitting a magic circle and firing two magical bullets at any eminent danger. If there was none, the bullets would be fired at dark Alisa's new or same position- potentially performing two to four attacks quite rapidly. Two magical and two physical. Could this dark Alisa handle such a sudden onslaught after dealing with the other two attackers as well? All the while, Nana's visage was covered in blood and a dangerous broken smile danced upon her lips. If and when dark Alisa had noticed her, Nana would break out into her typical maniacal laughter. Something Esperia would likely notice right away. "A perfect opportunity to test myself against a fake Alisa before fighting the real one!" she would cackle loudly. Loud enough for all three of the current fighters to hear.

Though being honest, she was also being condescending towards this dark Alisa, who seemed to be very full of shi-herself. Nana's calling her a fake, was a ploy to goad the woman into a tantrum. 'Divine' being or not, many foes made mistakes when they were backed into a corner or taunted. Nana had done both in the matter of a couple of seconds. All the while, Spur hung onto nana's golden locks of long hair on her shoulder. "Keeww!" he would say, but only after Nana made a sound to alert dark Alisa herself.

Lisa the Narcissist
How dare she? A woman of her stature, nothing more than a mishap of Illumin, dared to defy the Goddess!? What's worse was that she exchanged some insults of her own, as if she had the luxury or the power to do so! Lisa cracked a smile but decided not to respond, for now the battle had finally commenced and attacks were already incoming. Daiko the fool. In her universe he was just as idiotic, so Lisa expected nothing less than an impulsive move from him. Her pets did her bidding 20 meters beneath her, attacking Esperia as Daiko soared forward. With a smirk, the goddess raised her arm in front of her, sending out a pink translucent shock wave of energy, knocking both of the fools back. Esperia had been occupied with throwing the people to sea after bending over to pick them up and Daiko's attempt to close the distance between the two of them would prove futile. They were sloppy. Uncoordinated, and it would result in their demise.

"Daiko you fool. Always going in head first." She hissed, almost as if she cared.

And then immediately after Lisa's spell was cast, a little worm revealed herself from behind. This blonde headed girl attempted to jump twenty meters in the air before offering some form of miserable attack. Lisa added some distance between them, flying to the left around 15 meters where she could see all three of her enemies. She watched as the sneaky one failed. In that instance, Nana sent out two bullets whilst she fell back down to the ground. The Seraphim Mistress didn't dodge, but instead raised her staff as the bullets flew towards her, activating a spell of her own for Nana. This tiny little bugger would be annoying to deal with, so it was better to squash her now. Surprisingly, she went unnoticed up until this point but now she would become nothing more than ash if see couldn't withstand such at attack. The bullets hit her chest, dispelling her magical defensive layer. As if Lisa would allow such behavior to go unpunished?

A giant magic circle began to appear on the ground beneath them about 50 meters in diameter. The clouds above began to darken and suddenly thunder boomed. It was as if the Icebergan god of thunder himself had something to say. Then, lightning would fall down from the sky.  "Fufufufufu~ Did the three of you really think that you could beat me? How foolish! You couldn't even beat each other! Ahahahaha!" She sang as lightning crashed into the ground. Some of her minions would die, but the rest would still mindlessly do their jobs. She remained prepared floating at an angle where she could see all three of the assailants now. Nana revealed herself far too soon. Perhaps if she would have been more patient...

Pfuh!

His spell had little to no effect on her, and Lisa answered in full with a force that sent him flying backwards several meters. Daiko’s body was rolling backwards in protest, trying to brake midair and regain his composure, but it resulted in him crashing into a rooftop. Tiles upon tiles stacked on top of him, and he ended up on the wooden floor of the attic in that building… but only for a few seconds. His burning wings stretched upwards, pushing the tiles away and giving him flight once more.

That was when lightning began crashing down from above. Lisa had unleashed a new spell, and Daiko was unsure if he could get close to her under this weather. However, he did catch up as quickly as possible – noticing that the pink layer over her body had dissipated, he saw a prime opportunity for attack. However, with her on guard, it was difficult to try and see if he could attempt and blindside her – it failed last time, and he didn’t know if this Lisa had some kind of clairvoyant ability or spell active that would render his sneak attempts futile.

Still, when she blabbered on and on about herself, Daiko snapped and made his presence known again: “You’re really trying to ruin our Alisa’s reputation here! I had a crush on her, even, but now I’m not so sure – not with you around and your big, dumb mouth flapping!”

Charging towards her at full speed, his wings flapped valiantly and pushed his body closer and closer towards her. Screw if she could see him coming – it was a thrilling challenge to see if she would even bother defending or counter-striking… but she had lost that pink veil. Daiko wouldn’t want that to return.

Therefore, he raised up his hand and manifested a red magic circle while still charging towards her. Still moving closer, and now being within 15 meters of her very front, the magic circle manifested a large fireball above his hand which he threw directly at her. He kept his momentum, however, in an attempt to meet her with a clenched, left gauntlet punch brought by the Mero Gauntlet aimed at her naval area. Her last spell hadn’t harmed him whatsoever, so he was still full of energy and endurance.

So much was happening in such a short period of time. After she had scooped up the civilians and tossed them into the bay of Hargeon, Lisa had seemingly knocked Daiko away with a spell. However, the bullet projectiles that were launched at Lisa were eerily familiar to her. Still, for the time being Esperia wasn't going to call out to the third participant.

No, instead she had chosen to prepare an attack at the flying Seraphim. Shortly before Daiko would recover from his knock-back and prepare a counter-attack the Titan's fist came lunging down at Lisa from above, an attack that was increased in speed when the lightning came crashing down from above with enough force that it made the Titan collapse onto a knee. Whether her attack had landed or not, Daiko was following up soon afterwards with an attack of his own, leading to Esperia to overhear the words he shouted at her. Grumbling as she slowly climbed back onto her feet, the Titan turned her gaze upwards at Daiko and Lisa and stated in amusement. "Keep your confessions for when we meet the real Alisa Daiko, you're dealing with a second-rate phony right now. To confess to her would make Alisa sad, very sad. It's like confessing to the dog of the girl you actually like!"

Still, that attack earlier had hurt like hell...

Foolishness, hubris even. Why had Nana committed such a silly act as to jump a ridiculous length and strike at the air with her weapons while yelling- effectively giving away her position and looking like an utter fool? She couldn't really say, for only the gods knew. Perhaps it was a cruel joke, or perhaps it was karma for many of her evil deeds up to this point. Whatever the case was, it was far too late to retry her ambush. Her target simply wouldn't let her retreat and try that again, not even if Nana asked.

Nana could only guess that she had stroked the ire of this Dark Lisa, but getting so close but failing at the last moment. Likely it was the fact that the daemon woman had even dared to challenge her. The only good thing about this whole ordeal for nana, was that she had somehow managed to break what appeared to be a magical defense that Dark Lisa had coated herself in. Maybe that would allow Esperia or the flying fireball that was now known as Daiko through the several verbal exchanges between the other three participants.

This clearly wasn't a fair fight. It was three against one, albeit the person the three of them were fighting could arguably be considered a demigod by the amount of mana they possessed. Not to mention the sheer destructive power of their spells. In a one on one fight, there was probably no hope that anyone could beat this person. Nana didn't care one way or another if it was one on three or three on one. Moralities such as fairness was a childish notion to her.

Nana's presence was now known, likely by all three of the other participants. How could they not notice her flail miserably in the air after all? Or to better her point, ignore the two magical beams that had traveled into Dark Lisa and dispelled her magic defense. She had two realistic choices. Stay and fight, or run away. Running away at this point seemed preferrable, especially since she owed the citizens no favors, nor cared if they lived or died. Only two bargaining chips swayed Nana's decision. Firstly, that her sensei Erebus had apparently fought similar individuals. He would be disappointed in her if she simply turned tail. Second, was that Esperia was here.

Although the two mages hadn't the most amicable of relations, nor first meetings- Nana held a certain fascination and affection for the Esperia that had nearly choked her to death. Call it a fatal attraction or whatever you wished, but Nana simply couldn't allow anyone to kill Esperia unless it was Nana herself.

Her decision had already been made though, even before her miserable ambush attempt. All she could do now, was act and react in a way that was most favorable to her. That would come in the form of the very next spell that Dark Lisa would enact. A thunderstorm. Not very subtle and easy enough to understand in nature, it was a game of chance if they got hit or not. As the first bolt had struck Esperia and not Daiko or Nana in the same likeness. Not before Esperia had attempted to strike downward at the floating Dark Lisa however. Would it be effective? Would this Daiko succeed in his blind charge as he threw an overhead fireball at this Dark Lisa?

The outcome of those two attacks were irrelevant to Nana, as this Dark Lisa had become wary of her and had repositioned herself to get a full field's view of all three assailants. It was only a matter of time now before one of those stray lightning bolts hit Nana from the sky. The conclusion of this battle would soon be in sight, one way or another. The most sensible choice was to reinforce herself while Daiko drew Dark Lisa's attention with his blind charge and fireball. Esperia was down on one knee from taking the lightning bolt only two seconds or so ago.

Daiko seemed to be on Dark Lisa's far right, Esperia was in the middle and Nana was on Dark Lisa's far left. Dark Lisa was currently ten meters above and fifteen meters in front of Nana's position from where her failed ambush had occurred. Instead of falling from her abnormal and law-defying and poorly worded jump, Nana remained in the air- rising even. two meter wide wings had sprouted from Nana's back and her dress had become consumed with the purple obscura of her daemon form. Her eyes and hair had turned purple as well. Now only five meters below and fifteen meters in front of Dark Lisa's position.

As she ascended to this new height, it was then that Daiko's fireball had appeared and attempted to hit Dark Lisa. Maybe now Esperia would enact a comeback but for the moment, her giant form was somewhat adjacent to Nana's side position. Nana could fire her guns once more without worry of impeding her uneasy giant ally. Daiko on the other hand, was playing a dangerous game of playing with the bull's horns. Magic circles appeared from Nana's guns again and she aimed them to Daiko's right side and passed him- aiming beyond the reach of his fireball. She would pull the trigger to her guns and fire two more mana bullets at Dark Lisa. While 'at' her was the key word, neither of the bullets were directly at Dark Lisa's position, but off slightly to the left and right of her to narrow her choices of escape. If an exact number was to be given, the distance between the two bullets would travel about one meter on both sides of Dark Lisa. At 30m/s for 40 meters.

Being that the distance between Nana and her target was only half this distance, it would only take half a second for her bullets to travel the distance in an attempt to pincer Dark Lisa as she was forced to confront Daiko's brave confession... and brave attack! The double click of her pistols was all it took and the two mana bullets that had been fired and now hopefully alongside both of Dark Lisa's sides, would detonate.

The bullet to Dark Lisa's right was a white magic, while the bullet to Dark Lisa's left was a black magic. Each of the bullets would detonate in a six meter by six meter explosion with the color a keen likeness to their previous form's color- white and black explosions that would intersect in the center of the explosions, right where Dark Lisa's position would be. If all went as planned and Nana's attack was successful, Dark Lisa would be hit by both explosions simultaneously, receiving two S Rank magical damage. The explosions themselves would nearly hit Daiko, being nine of so meters from the position he had loosed his fireball from. It would be clear to all that Nana did not mind hitting the others with her spells. Esperia would likely berate her for such callous actions.

Nana herself wished to tease Esperia for taking a lightning bolt to the face, literally. Instead of responding to Esperia or even Daiko, Nana would began a verbal incantation aloud, although unless Dark Alisa had super hearing and moved closer, she wouldn't be able to make out the exact words. Maybe she was discussing a plan with Esperia? But it might be hard to hear after an explosion had gone off so close if not right on top of the invader. "And shepherds we shall be. For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee. And Teeming with souls shall it ever be." Words could be had after the thread was gone.

#15Lisa the Narcissist

Judgement Day Empty Thu Oct 06, 2022 2:25 pm

Lisa the Narcissist
Suddenly, Lisa felt a surge overtake her body. It wasn't an attack but a strike upon her heart. She felt something, divine love most likely and it was at that moment that she realized she needed to approach it. The Narcissist was all that her name described. She was absorbed in herself, indulged in herself, and did anything she wanted for the sake of herself. If these peasants truly believed that this battle was one they'd obtain victory, then they were foolish than the Seraphim anticipated. They should have known that this was simply just the start of many to come. Lisa hoped that they would feel the fear of a thousand frightened children as she commenced her next action. Spreading her arms to the side just as Nana landed on the ground, a pink energy began consume her entire body, making her invulnerable to attacks momentarily. Suddenly, her body began to fade until eventually she was no longer existent in that moment. "Today you live to see tomorrow, but tomorrow you shall die. Enjoy your petty lives while you can~..." as she faded into nothingness. The townsfolk would begin to come to their sentence and notice the city around them had been in shambles while the heroes of the day, would find themselves...stronger from the encounter.

Daiko and Nana have received 500,000 Jewels, 15,000 Experience, and 10 attribute points (2x attribute potions).

Esperia has been rewarded 500,000 Jewels.

Daiko Flayme
What the heck-

Daiko had to roll backwards in an attempt to avoid some explosions coming from definitely, not at all his own spell this time – no, those projectiles came from behind, further away from him and this Lisa lass. It caused him to turmoil a bit, but he caught himself before he landed flat on the ground – again. He didn’t even get to see if his fireball landed on the target, and he didn’t know that Esperia could cast such spells-

Wait, that wasn’t her. Who the- wh- who was she? A friend of Esperia? Ought to tell her to watch her aim! Daiko could’ve lost a limb there or two!

Lisa appeared… unscathed. Shit, they were in trouble. Unlike the real Alisa, this one never flinched nor was taken aback by any of their attacks… did that mean that she was even more powerful than their Alisa? And what exact place did she come from?! Who brought her here?! Unlike many others, it hadn’t occurred to Daiko that such terms as ‘dimensions’ and ‘alternatives’ played a huge role in the onslaughts taking place around Fiore as they stood there – it wasn’t anything he’d dealt with in the past, except with those demons and all… but that was different.

Before he could reach her again, Lisa… disappeared. With less than friendly words to part… they failed. There was no other way to see it – the town was turned upside down, buildings still burning, and the culprit came and went as she wanted. All Daiko could do was land on the spot where she’d been mere moments ago and sizzle under his angered breath, regretful that he wasn’t able to do anything to her. It was one thing being weaker than a friend, but weaker than an enemy was downright humiliating…

LIONS AND TIGERS AND DRAGONS

Nana's explosions rocked the area before Daiko, just a couple of meters away from his face. Nana's hadn't blinked or batted an eye. He could serve as a good meat shield if nothing else. Nana's only real concern was Esperia. This Dark Lisa was more keen on wanton destruction than actually attacking them, else Nana's could only assume that the three of them wouldn't stand a chance. In fact, if any of their attacks had actually harmed this Dark Lisa, she might have taken them seriously. Or worse.

That wouldn't happen apparently. Even as Nana's explosions detonated, Dark Lisa hadn't been damaged. A vivid pink magical aura had enshrouded the woman again- this time more powerfully than the last. The woman began to fade away, but not before having the last word in their confrontation. A bad omen maybe.

With the threat gone and no one left to focus their distrust or aggression on, Nana knew she had overstayed her welcome. Esperia would likely let Nana leave after a small spanking, but Daiko may have more displeasure directed at nana for nearly being blown up. Which would have resulted in a scrimmage between Nana and Daiko... Which would have likely led Esperia into stopping both of them. Both outcomes involved Esperia reminding Nana who had won their last battle. "Bye bye Esperia-chan!~" With a sigh, Nana descended quickly. Her wings disappeared and she also disappeared into the shadows of the streets.
