DEMON QUEEN
As Achlys arrives in Oak on the back of Akuta, the white wyvern lented to her by Mikihisa, one of her Kyoyama family members. She has a dilemma to either go straight to Eternal Nightmare guild hall or the place where she and some Eternal Nightmare had fun from Odin serving drinks for them which is Odin’s pub , Swineherd. It’s better for her to stop there as well because in terms of distance, the pub is closer to her, so after the pub she will be heading to Eternal Nightmare guild hall. As Akuta the wyvern arrives above the pub, Achlys jumps down from it and lands in front of the pub, while Akuta flies back to Magnolia and returns to Mikihisa.

Achlys went into the pub and as she opened the door, the inside of the pub brought back some good memories with Odin and the other EN members. The time stops for Achlys, looking around and she can recall the image of what happened during those days. She can’t believe that Odin, the one she looks up to, is dead for real…

Erebus

Erebus was currently lifting the pool stick, knocking balls into pockets. A joint was sparked, sticking out of his mouth with a few empty glasses besides his person. He sees Achlyss from across the room. Taking one puff as he brought the stick to his side. He exhaled. “You’ve been gone awhile.” He said, obviously coping in his own ways. “What brings you to Oak,” Erebus asked from across the room. His voice carrying as there was only a few others here besides themselves.

Erebus noticed it was his turn to play with his opponent nodding towards the table. Bending over the table, Erebus placed his hand in a way that cupped the stick and allows it to shoot straight. But first he needed to chalk, throwing some white dust over his hand. Then he wedged a spin on the pool stick with the rod chalk. He shot a ball in and went back to the other side of the table. Missing his next shot. “It’s true. Odin was slain by Alisa. I’m already on the works about a bounce back. Interested in any of that? On the creed of our dead Master?”

Greeted by Erebus out of nowhere, she can’t really say her words. Too many questions in her head to the point where she doesn't know which one she can throw at him first. But it seems like Erebus knew the main reason why Achlys is back to Oak, and he gave her the answer she needed to hear. Seeing how casually Erebus explains the situation to her, even without her asking, makes her feel a little bit mad. But she also knows that she’s been away for a while and after the death of Odin, the member of EN already got time to calm down and not move in recklessness, which is something that not representing EN that Achlys knows.

“I still can’t believe it.” Said Achlys slowly, trying to keep all of her emosion sealed inside her. “I never imagined that this time would come, and it happened when I couldn't be there with him during his last moments.” She feels sad that Erebus confirmed the news about Odin, but there is nothing she can do for now.

When Erebus told her that he is preparing a bounce back, she figured that Erebus fills the empty slot of leadership in EN. But somehow she feels like a war against Alisa and BP in the name of Odin is not her way of showing respect to his dead Master, so when Erebus asks her if she is interested to join in, she doesn't really answer. “How’s everyone else?” Ask her wondering where everybody else is. “Is there something left of Odin that I can see? Or maybe something that I can keep as a reminder for me to never leave the side of someone that really matters in my life ever again.”

“Odin’s corpse was sent to be retrieved by other members, but it hasn’t been fully recovered yet.” Erebus replied, obviously noting how torn up she was about the situation. Erebus couldn’t disagree it was a hard pill for anyone to swallow when a friend dies. It was affecting him as well, after all. “Everyone else is pretty upset.” He responded, sighing. “They’re all on board to help me. It was a mutual decision made before I even got there. But with that being said, it’s my mission now.” Erebus shot the right into its pocket, and grabbed his jacket. He approached the Demon with an unfortunate expression. “I don’t think there is anything to keep of him but when the body is in our possession we can talk about it.” Erebus said, realizing then that even as a demonic entity Achlyss clearly did understand empathy.

“... Actually, if you’d like to assist me in looking through his room, maybe we can get a better idea of what his faith mission was about. There is a good chance we might still have his old skull in his quarters.”

Hearing the response from Erebus about Odin’s corpse, Achlys feels really upset about it and she really wants to deal with that. Her head can’t stop thinking about what Odin would do if the situation happened the other way around. She knows that the members of Eternal Nightmare are really precious for Odin, and he will totally stand and protect everyone with his life.

“I would really like to help, if I only think about myself and my ego. But there must be a good reason why he left us out of that mission. He might want to protect us from something so all I can say now is, don’t act reckless. Even if everyone agrees to state a war or something, please be sure to really think through the plan and keep being safe for now. The power balance is lost since we lose Odin, we wouldn’t want to lose anyone else.”

Achlys is really trying to surpass her own will and ego, she can’t lie that she would love to fly to BP and rampage there throwing out all of her anger against those people especially Alisa. But she knows that strategically, that is not a good move and not beneficial for her and everyone on the dark side of this magical world. That’s why she is trying to remind Erebus to make every move after really thinking it through and not just base it on anger.

“I understand you. Yumi said something similar, I’ve given it a few weeks, and I can’t deny that the strong response is to attack.” He finally finished. “They kill us because they think we aren’t worthy of better lives. That we are nothing but the enemy. I’ve had enough— if that’s that what it is. Then I will show them what the dark can do. The world hasn’t seen a power like ours yet. It will completely change the world, I can’t stop now Achlyss.” Erebus said, with a low sigh. He wasn’t going to ignore her warning, but it wasn’t something he especially needed to hear so close to starting.

Not that he didn’t get her point. It’s just that, Erebus was a decisive man. To him, a warning like that was negative. It carried a doubt that really questioned the future. Now— Erebus wasn’t one to predict the future, but he was more than convinced he would avenge the past. “We will be fine Achlyss. Even if we aren’t, we tried. That’s what a guild is for, ‘til it’s very dying days. They were designed for the fight... I think we have a better chance than Fiore would like to admit.” he said, with a patient pause.

“Listen, I know that you and I have always been loyal to the same master. I hope you’ll understand whether you decide to stand with us or not. Our minds will not suddenly change— if there’s anything else I can help you with. Let me know.”

Achlys got the answer for her questions, and those questions are the only reason why she traveled from Magnolia all the way to Oak. The fact that she got more information is already enough for her and since she has nothing else to do, she starts to walk towards the exit of the pub intending to leave.

She said the words that she wanted to say, and warned Erebus about his plans, but since Achlys doesn't know details and how well planned it is, she didn't push any harder. Plus she knows that everyone respects Odin and will have their own way to show it.

"I won't try to stop you, since I know how we both put our lives in line while we fight alongside Odin. So make your plan perfect and really go with it, I'll need some time to process and accept this situation."

As she walks out the pub, she waves her hand to Erebus on her back. She will be watching the action of Eternal Nightmare and will wait for the great news in the future, but she decided to watch all of that in the shadow, the way that fits her new guild, Utopian Demise.
