Quilla gazed at the town that was in front of her as the place was getting closer. Her eyes that looked tired looked around and saw that an older man was coming up towards the dock to meet them. He wore robes made of animal pelts of white, brown, and black. Were they bear pelts? She looked towards the town. It looked like he was actually very lively, unlike what she believed. Perhaps she could meet the elder personally and ask him about her mother. Would they tell on her if they find out it was really her? Once the boat docked. She got off the boat. The elder bowed his head and started to shake his hand and then hers. He welcomed them in a deep voice as he then showed that his villagers were very curious on what they needed. So far it was going well -- for now.

He asked for them to come with him as they got off the dock and towards the village itself. The villagers watched them as they went towards a certain house, which was to assume it was the chiefs. It was a large Hut, and had an animal skeleton on top. She wondered if it was where each animal was specifically for a certain family with meaning. She has heard that people had the skeleton of their animal or head that still had the whole skin intact on the roof of the animal they are known for killing. Mainly the dangerous ones. Well, she went inside. She saw that there were some bench-like chairs made of hay and then a fire going on in the middle. Over the fire, there were some iron pots and hanging hook that they can use to cook with. He offered for us to sit down.

She sat down. And listen to the chief. Who was then explaining? Explain that the last people who came here was a woman and a guy who caused some issues. Looking for a woman, apparently, and we're starting to ask around. Quilla was wondering who these people were and hoped that the guy will answer. The captain of the ship told her that while she was doing this, he was gonna go find somewhere to rest. She did not blame him because the ride was very long. She wondered if perhaps if they knew anything about a woman named by her mother's name or the description. Truthfully. Quilla did not even know her own mother's name. She was only given a description and a picture of her, which she then received from her own pocket and gave it to the chief. The chief started to look at it and shook his head as he did not remember any faces like hers.

It was saddening when she heard that he did not know anything about a woman like that. He told her that she could go ask around. She nodded and started to go outside. Her eyes gazed up into the sky as she saw the moon out in the beautiful rainbow ish colored sky. She really wanted to find her mother and she was getting sadder every day when she felt like she would not find her. How long will it take to find her? She started it out onto a journey through the village as she asked many people about her mother. Showing the picture in giving a few words for information, most of them all shook their head no. By the time she asked almost everyone, the Elder came up to her. He told her that there was this woman along time ago as he suddenly remembered, making her sigh.

She came to visit and went up to the mountains and never came back. She almost looked like that woman. Her hand reached for the letter in her pocket as she looked over the words and then nodded. The woman who came to visit apparently left a necklace and that's all he really knew. She wondered if it was the necklace that her father gave her mother as her father used to tell her the stories about the things, he gifted her. Arizona in the things that he would eventually go do with her as they had ventured off into many of the other countries. She knew that going up to the mountain was going to be a long climb, so she decided to go and find a place to rest. She wondered if the elder knew anywhere she could go and arrest, which he then had her follow him to the place that seemed like a little motel.

There were small little tiny huts made of hay and earth as inside. It was pretty warm and kept out the cold. The person who owned the place agreed to let her stay for free if need be, as she needed to go and prepare for her journey the next day. Do that. It wasn't gonna be cheap to prepare to go up to the mountains. After she got dressed in certain attire, she then went to bed. Her eyes closed peacefully. And then start to dream.
