Kai got a sort of strange request to enter a boxing arena for fighting, it isn't like he is bad at hand to hand combat or anything that was the first type of fighting he had ever trained but he thought it was weird to seek a mage for a fist fight, but to him it was something to help him sharpen his skills as a fighter and not just let his basics go to waste he knows if he wanted to hand to hand fight Emil would love to fill that role for him to help him train and be a better fist fighter, but Emil also has a knack for going over bored, as he walks up a boy he had met before runs up to him glad to have seen Kai again and that he knows Kai is at least a decent fighter so he can believe in kai to clown on this guy that has taken over the champions seat from his cheese strategy.

Kai laughs softly and Revy gets a good laugh out of the man asking Kai just to shame the champion cause she knows giving kai that power is dangerous cause Kai does have a habit of screwing around if he is given the wiggle room and Kai looks like he is not gonna just back down from this chance all he has to do is just let the man not hit a thing in the first 60 seconds. Then he can just take the man down like the small fry he really is and he will make sure this guy feels the shame of missing everything. He walks into the area where we are to be fighting in and he wonders what this champ will really be if the kid was anywhere near right about them Kaito should be able to handle this easily with very little effort on his part.

He walks out to the arena and he sees the champion and he wonders if maybe this guy is just a joke and this job might have just been some kind of sick joke cause this champ looks super weak on his feet and he looks slow as anything so he can keep space between them and this guy would fall apart in that second of space and he learned how the man moves and strikes. Kai is ready for a bigger fight and this seems like it will just be useless time, but he is gonna do it. Kai goes and he gets ready for the fight and the guy goes to get the stuff set up for Kai to take them on and Kai is unsure how bad this fight will mess up that champions mind and he doesn't want to hurt the man to bad that he will never recover.

the time of the fight nears people have hurried to gather for what they think will be Kai getting swiftly knocked out cause he has no history in the fighting scene, no wins or losses on his belt or card so they are figuring it will be a swift knock out and we all go home as fast as they sit, Kai gets put there then the champ is announced and does his majestic entrance and his cocky shit talking to Kai that he is gonna get himself straight knocked out and he was gonna look like a sad little kid. He starts throwing punches at him and Kai dodges the punches and he wonders if they were strong punches or not but he wasn't let any of them hitting and he keeps light on his feet, the champion looks worried now as he hasn't even came close to hitting him.

He Kai keeps the dodging up keeping track in his mind of how punches he has dodged and how many more he had to dodge to bet out the 60 second timer and he is just enjoying the breeze these punches are giving off as the man misses, once the 60 seconds are over Kai goes in on the man not pulling any punches and he watches the man look like he is starting to go pale as the man still can't land a punch and Kai is keeping on him like stick on a pile of horse crap, and he keeps going and the man is backing down looking like he is gonna die. The man steps back and he is out cold the crowd is dead quiet from the upset they just saw happen. Kai looks around and he finds the guy that gave him this quest who is super excited to have seen the new champ knocked so firmly from their high heights that they had reached with an empty promise for the future. Kaito Takes his payment from the man and picks Revy up then heads for home.
